It was disappointing. The room was not ready until 7:30 p.m. so they put us in a temporary room and we had to move. We were only staying one night so being in two rooms in one night was not convenient. The room that we waited until 7:30 to get into had soaking wet carpet. Couldn't believe they actually put us in a room in this condition. They placed […] area rugs over the wet carpet because we need adjoining rooms for the children and there were no other adjoining rooms. Certainly didn't expect to be staying in a room with wet carpet at these prices. Carpet was so wet that water oozed when it was stepped on. Would not stay here again. There are enough other nice hotels in this area. The area rugs was not an acceptable solution for a hotel of this supposed caliber. Läs mer

The Ritz Marina del Rey is so well located...I'd recommend this to anyone working or vacationing in L.A.

Fantastic experience Workers are on it! However, room service (food) is not impressive so eat outside of hotel!

Pretty hotel and friendly staff but nothing that stood out to be spectacular. We had a clean room and a very comfy bed. Ordered room service for dessert and it took almost an hour and when it was finally delivered, we had not silverware. it took another 20 min to get that. Nicely away from the LA crush, but a long way to go if you want to be downtown or in Hollywood. Never returned my phone charger, despite very specific instructions where I left it.

The service here was really phenomenal. Everyone was so friendly and familiar. It felt like we were regular patrons that were welcomed back. The 24hr amenities were a great feature. Definitely a great place for a return visit.

If you need a basecamp near LAX for your adventures around the southern CA region, this is a great hotel to stay at. No unsightly airport related facilities in sight and no aircraft noise at all, but it is not too far from the airport. They also have a boarding pass printing sevrice - you fill out the form with your reservation details and drop it […] off at the front desk. They will print the boarding passes for you. The room was clean and had nice linen. The room decor was very decent, though a bit conservative. The room I got also had a good view of the ppol and marina. However, there were some issues. The express checkout on the TV did not work. The express checkout paperwork they had slipped under the door did not have my room details filled in for checkout - it asked me to fill out the form and drop off the keys at the front desk (most other hotels have the form pre-filled). The guest information book said there is an ice machine on every floor. I did not find one on my floor. The guest book also said one could dial 62# for ice. I tried that in the evening and the next day but the line was always busy. The lamps were very hard to turn off. The switch was hidden behind the nightstand and hard to access. The desk did not have outlets to connect your laptop or charge your phone/tablet (most other hotels have at least one, usually two, outlets on the desk lamp itself). I reached under the table to plug in mine and found that three of the six outlets did not have power (maybe they were on a switch but that was not obvious) and two were already used up. Left me just one usable outlet to share between my phone and laptop. They only have Valet Parking, no slef park. Quite a nice find at an amazing rate! The thought of staying at an airport hotel is depressing, when you have kids and on vacation. Yet thislovely gem on the marina was a breezy 10 minute drive along a gorgeous stretch of PCH and gave our young teens plenty of options. I enjoyed a sunny winter morning walk around the marina, returning to an amazing […] breakfast. My husband watched the kids swim while doing his daily run, because the gym overlooked the beautiful pool. Lots of shopping, movies, restaurants in walking or short driving distance. The enormous fireplace enticed me and my hubby to enjoy an expensive glass of wine, preparing our minds for the onslaught of holiday duties, traditions and family insanity. Just perfect! Läs mer

Great for those visiting family at LMU. The hotel is close to the university and has all the amenities of a luxury hotel. The reception and lobby are going through a redesign and check-in for the hotel has moved to a make shift space. I would recommend highly this hotel. The staff very courteous and always ready to help. Your room was very comfortable and the view of the marina was just breathtaking. The facilities were awesome.

A classic in one of the most beatuful locations. Safe, beautiful, with great views of the Marina. Marina Del Rey is gorgeous every single day of the year but even in a rainny day of winter you can enjoy the fireplace, hight tea or the relaxation of your room. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. The entire staff were not only professional, but incredibly friendly. This is by far one of the best hotels in So Cal. In addition, the location is essential for tourist!

I enjoyed my stay at the Ritz MdR. the complimentary watermelon water was ,ost tasteful. Although a shower rod fell on my head. From what was left of my trip I enjoyed in bed and in the jacuzzi!

Arrived at hotel at 4:30 pm. Requested a car was, was told that it was too late, and was given the address of a carwash 3 miles away, which was not there (incorrect address given. Very friendly front desk, helpful, asked which paper I would prefer in the a.m. I requested NYTimes. Next morning was given a USA Today. Was given room 119, told it was a […] nice room with a furnished patio. Went to room to discover it smelled faintly of smke. Room furnishings very badly worn/scratchedzgdamaged. Paint splatters from last repaint all over lampshades. Carpet stained by patio door, and slider to patio difficult to open/close, and original lock was broken (sliding brass bolt lock provided instead) Patio area and furniture were in unacceptable condition. Very dirty, had not been swept, trash, debris, and ciggarette buts and ash all over furniture. Metal and viny outdoorl furniture not inviting, even after a very nice guy from housekeeping came to sweep up. First floor room, closest to the busy road (Admiral Way) meant patio was very noisy, and since the door would not shut completely, noise filtered into room all night long. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was very dated, and condition of surfaces / cabinety not up to Ritz standards. Late checkout offered. Valet staff very responsive. Disappointing that Wi-Fi was not included, but an extra 10/day. Road construction nearby. All in all a disappointng experience. Läs mer

Except for the three hour delay in getting into our room, we had an axcellent experience at the hotel

my problem with this hotel is that the hotel sheets all have a unpleasant oder...they were clean .. just the laundry system they use leaves a sour smell. also its very noisy outside.. if you want fresh air during the night and open a window.. you will hear loud trucks etc on the street below.

The positive part of this hotel is that the beds are extraordinarily comfortable and the hotel itself is clean. That said, the hotel was a bit rundown and in desperate need of some updating. It was far from what I have come to expect from Ritz hotels. Personally, I would not go back.

Great hotel but disappointed that kitchen was being remodeled during our stay and the hotel was only offering the buffet for breakfast. Not being a big breakfast eater and only wanting a bowl of cereal or someting light I wasn't willing to pay the $28.00 plus tip for the buffet. Hotel did not offer any other options or discount. Just disappointed.

It was exactly 12 minutes drive from the LAX car rental lot to the Ritz Carlton Marina del Rey, but it was like being transported to another world. The view of the yacht basin from my room made me feel as if I were in Monaco or another Mediteranean port. I was sorry that i had to leave to go to a meeting.

We purchased the Weekend Getaway package. Our room was on the first floor next to the ice machine and faced the parking lot. We were under the impression that we would have at least a partial view of the marina and requested another room. The clerk said "all rooms have a partial view" however, this simply is not possible if you are oon the 1st floor […] and have a room with a view of the entrance / valet parking area. My husband and I were very impressed, our room was huge and lovely and the bed was so comfortable. The hotel decor was nice and warm for the Holidays, which gave it such a warm feel with the fireplace going and Christmas tree's. The view of the harbor was amazing and we loved that the pool area was open 24 hours. The staff was awesome.

If you are looking for luxury at Marina Del Ray this is the place to stay...beautiful harbor view. We were very impressed with the service, quality and surroundings. Clearly the best hotel around!

The room was lovely, the bed cozy, and the grounds beautiful. The marina itself was breathtaking.

My husband and I took a night off from kids and family and enjoyed a quiet relaxing night away. Sitting at the pool as the sun went down was a peaceful experience. From our room we could see a beautiful wedding taking place at the garden next to the pool. It made the night just a little more romantic. I can recommend staying at the club level which gives you access to the club lounge. Here you will find a great staff ready to jump through rings of fire, and offer you food and beverages throughout the whole day. The hotel has a great location, just make sure to ask for a room with view of the ocean, so you are sure to get the sunset.

Great hotel for business travel but I would avoid this as a destination if you are looking for relaxation or peace and quiet. The first night of our stay was fantastic, with great service on the veranda and a terrific view (once we were able to get away from the multiple business meetings happening around us at very high volumes). As this hotel overlooks […] the marina, we were unable to be in our room relaxing from 9am on, due to someone sandblasting their boat down below. Sort of made the great view of the room useless. Thinking the spa might be a good option, I headed down find a desserted front desk and after requesting a tour of the facilities was shuffled through by a hyperactive and very loud young woman. I could not wait to get out of there and away from the noise. 3rd option to relax was the pool. Thrilled to find that they were trimming the trees at the pool with a noisy device, I made three attempts to ask the hotel to have them do this at a later time. No luck. We checked out and went to loews which I would recommend over this ritz to anyone. It was unfortunate to schedule a vacation for so much money and then have to leave and lose that money, but it was better than losing my mind. Now I can return to work feely truly restored. Just don't think you will find that at the Ritz..unless you happen to be deaf. Läs mer

家族での米国駐在の第1日目の宿として当該ホテルを選択しましたが、すばらしい滞在となりました。米国のホテルには多数の宿泊経験がありますが、このレベルの快適さ・サービス品質は他に存在しない印象があります。どのような目的であれ、満足できる品質で、このホテルへの宿泊を強く推奨します。

車（あり）でしたので別に困りませんが、徒歩圏内にコンビニなどあればもっと良かったです。 ハネム－ンでしたが、家族連れお友達同士でも十分満足できるでしょう。 マリナデルレイは大人っぽい静かな街なので年配の方にもおすすめです。近くにあるI HOP（カジュアルパンケ－キレストラン）のオムレツもおすすめです。 サンタモニカまでも車で10分位でした。 空港やカルバ－シティが近いです。

Hotellet var vel valgt, det ligger ved vandet og tæt de fleste ting og alligevel med dejlig fred. Let at komme til og fra. Dog er parkering i den dyre ende - bil er nødvendig for at kunne komme rundt - tilgengæld er deres infrastuktur bygget til det.
