Det var väl ett helt ok hotell, förutom att i korridoren luktade det fruktansvärt illa under vissa tider på dygnet. Jätte minus tack vare de!

Hotellets läge var utmärkt, vilket lyfte hela vistelsen. Rummet var rymligt, men spartanskt inrett och badrummet var trångt och lite slitet, men allt var välstädat. Frukosten var medelmåttig, lite synd att mestadelen av frukten var omogen och att äggröran var gjord på äggpulver och inte riktiga ägg. Croissanterna var däremot utmärkta.

Har vad man kan begära om man inte förväntar sig något speciellt. Ligger centralt med gångavstånd till i princip allt, men ändå i ett lugnt område.

En helt ok vistelse på Rembrant classic. Bodde på översta våningsplanet och draget från fönstren var iskallt. Vi var där i mitten på december. Trångt badrum och duschen var ett kapitel för sig, inte så smidig och ryckig temperatur på vattnet. Annars normalt standard hotell med bra frukost och normal service på ett lågpris hotell i centrum. Bra location, men var inget lyxhotell precis. Jag tyckte knappt att det var värt de tre stjärnorna som jag tror hotellet hade. Lyhört, precis som de flesta hotell i Amsterdam.

Rummet hade mycket fin vy mot kanalen med två stora öppningsbara förnster. -Kalas! Det negativa var att rummet visate tecken på slitage med flagnande färg här och där. Det saknades också kylskåp/minibar, telefon, dörrlåset kärvade och toaletten stod och rann. Något nedgånget rum kanske och det luktade lite tobak (inte den vanliga varianten) från både rum och sängkläder men det kanske hör till i A-dam :) Frukosten helt ok. Bra personal, inga problem med engelska. Parkeringstjänsten B Smart (inte hotellets egen) kändes lite osäker i början men summa summarum gick det mkt bra. Helhetsintrycket var positivt. Men hotellet kräver en 'säkerhets' avgift vid incheckningen fast rummet var betalt på förhand via Hotels.com. Avgiften returnerades vid utcheckningen.

Väldigt trevlig personal och fantastiskt läge! Mycket prisvärt. Litet rum och allt ganska enkelt, men helt bra! Jag bor gärna här igen!

Jag trivdes mycket bra på hotellet och vi fick även mycket bra service av hotellpersonalen. Frukosten var hur god som helst också. Rummen var jätterena och hade hyffsat sköna sängar. Dock tyckte jag att väggarna i huset var alldeles för tunna. Hotellet lät mycket livligare på natten än vad det faktiskt var. Läget var perfekt. Inte för nära centrum […] och inte för långt bort. Coffeshopparna låg precis runt hörnan och red light district bara en liten promenad därifrån. Mer kan man inte begära =) Läs mer

I can confidently say this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything in the hotel was old and run down. The 3.5 stars it received on hotels.com is not representative of the hotel. DO.NOT.STAY.HERE.

After refusing the first room that had dust boards (instead of base boards), we were promptly offered a new room that was 100% better. Overall the hotel needs updating. The bed seemed very old and the lighting was so dark that it made me nervous. This hotel needs some TLC. It's in such a great location and has so much potential.

Arrival on a Sunday was awful - slow and uninterested reception with lots of people struggling to get attention. The rooms were a good size and clean but a little cold and shabby. The hotel was filled with school children and teachers who were noisy at night. Breakfast was OK and more or less worth the price. the hotel is old and a little run down BUT, the location is great, the place is as clean as it is possible and the staff, GREAT! they go the extra mile so you don't have to face any troubles or time lost. just ask... the internet is slow...but one week passes are available for for a small fee.

Very well located close to the main railway station (walking distance 10 minutes) and situated close to the canals and main shopping centre. Only in Amsterdam for 2 nights so it was fine. Hotel is clean and safe but you get what you pay for, this was cheap and ok.Very noisy, room doors have a strong door spring that slams them shut. In the morning […] and evening doors continually slam and this is disruptive.Outside those periods its ok. Had to pay a £50 deposit on arrival - this was unexpected as I was not told about this requirement until checkin. Still waiting for it to be returned. All in this hotel was nice, it served a purpose and I got what I paid for. Provided I get my deposit returned I would stay here again. Läs mer

The hotel is well positioned with a 10 min walk to dam square and the staff were amazing and friendly however no kettle in the room! Couldnt make our own teas etc. Also some fool in a room next to us kept slamming his door from 10pm to 2am. I think the weed had dampened his hearing. Room was a little run down, but still overall a good deal for the price. We had to use the pull-out sofa bed and bedding on it was ripped and old. However, location is great, situated between 2 canals and a short 5-10 minute walk from Dam Square, Anne Frank House, paddle boats, and great shopping area. The staff were also very pleasant.

Location excellent - right in the Dam centre - we also had a beatiful canal view on the 1st floor. Rooms a little tired but very clean, good for the money. The hotel staff were polite and the place has a lovely feel. I would happily stay here again as you are a stones throw from the Royal Palace and belongings etc felt safe. I was very angry. I booked a room for 2 nights so I would have a place to stay upon my arrival early Sunday, Feb. 3, but was told I was a "no show" so they sold my room to someone else. Since I pre-paid through your site I consider this to be completely unfair as I was charged for services never received. We stayed for three nights in the hotel and found it very enjoyable. Very clean and the staff were really helpful. The room cleaning service was convenient around when we left our room. Across the street from the Rogier metro stop, two blocks from the North train station and two blocks from the pedestrian street that leads to the Grand Place - we couldn't ask for a better location. The room was fairly plain but clean. Not the most convenient shower arrangement, but in Europe you make do. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Rooms were comfy but decor was a little tired. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were subjected to the slamming of doors most nights due to the lack of automatic door closers. In all ideal hotel for quick jaunt into the tourist areas and basic room for the price you can't go wrong. There's only one thing to say - if you like hearing the sound of slamming doors, stay here. The doors are sprung so heavy, that you will hear doors shutting from down the hall, all night. The staff are aware of this problem - there is nothing they can do about it. Pity, because it's reasonably priced, and a good location. I've stayed at around 100 hotels […] this year, and this was by far , my number one pick for "never returning". I checked out in the dark at 7am, just to move to another hotel. The reception staff are one of the best that I have ever known. I had unfortunately left medication in Cologne and they absolutely bent over backwards to help me. It all got sorted and if it wasn't for Taris my European 50 th Birhday would have been disastrous. I am forever grateful. But so noisy,every time someone shut their door it felt as though […] the foundations shook. Cleaning staff very noisy and rooms we not clean. We liked very much because of the location of the hotel and its simplicity well linked to its efficiency.. The only thing I believe that could be better is the improvement of the wireless internet signal for the rooms further from the reception desk because we coudn´t connect in our room. we had to go near the desk everytime.

The hotel and room are fine as long as one doesn't need any frills. I was mostly there to sight-see so I wasn't bothered by the lack of amenities. But my pal hated the hotel : no mini-bar, VERY spotty wifi in the room, noisy from other guests (that was on a busy Sunday when many people were checking in and out), and the smell of pot in the halls.

this hotel was close enough to walk to dam square in about 10 mins. it was clean and tidy. beds were 5/10 for cumfyness. shower was ok with plenty of hot water. to be honest you dont really come to amsterdam to sit in a hotel all day so this was perfect for what we needed.

overall the hotel was decent and clean it was pretty centralizes but after traveling to a few different cities in europe during the same trip we felt that this hotel was over price. we expected to be above average. for the same price we wouldnt stay there again.

This is a great location, in the 9 streets area, just two minutes from the Dam.we did not try the breakfasts as we slept a lot, but it looked tasty and plentiful. Great location for shopping and walking to anywhere in the city center in minutes, clean, hospitable, my only comment is in our particular room the tv was positioned so you had to duck round […] it to get to one side of the bed which was awkward, but not exactly a big deal.
