bra mottagande. trevligt rum. Hotellets wi fi var väldigt dålig. Läget bra, om man gillar geneve, som är en av europas tråkigaste städer. Gå ut på stan efter 18 00 och kolla

Hotellet har en trevlig atmosfär .Vi hade ett stort rum med två separata sängar som var mycket bra. Hotellet ligger med gångavstånd till det mesta i Geneva . Fullständig frukost - bufféfrukost inkl tillägg var något enkel. Trevlig personal.

Vi rekomenderar varmt detta hotell! Jätteskön säng, inte så mjuk att man fick ont i ryggen och inte så hård att man var tvungen att vända på sig för att undvika liggsår. :) fyra stora och sköna kuddar i sängen. Mycket trevlig personal. Vi bodde där 2 nätter och rummet städades efter en natt, skönt att få nya handdukar och badlakan. Badkar fanns! Mycket […] centralt läge. Nära till flygplatsen taxi tog ca: 15 min, man kan även ta buss eller tåg, nära till tåget, dock utan att man hörde tåg från hotellet. Läs mer

Ett väldigt trevligt litet hotel som ligger perfekt mitt i city och med bara några minuters promenad till tåget till flygplatsen. Kan nog inte bli bättre om man bara är nere över en weekend.

I've stayed in many different hotels in Geneva, and, depending on my reason for being there, it is hard to find just the right place. Price is one problem--the most comfortable ones can easily exceed $500 per night. Location is another. Most of the affordable ones are either too far from the center of Geneva or in the seedy section near the train station. […] The Rotary is in a terrific location, in a pleasant commercial district just below where the lake feeds into the Rhone, where it is easy to walk to Old Town or back up to the train station. Excellent Hotel, great position, friendly staff but breakfast not good enough, especially the so-called Sunday Brunch, for the money or for the class of hotel

My wife and I have been staying at the Rotary Hotel when we are visiting Geneva for more than thirty years. Last year it was full and we had to stay at a nearby 5 star hotel. This hotel, although more expensive was not nearly as comfortable, as friendly or as efficient as the Rotary. Last Sunday when so many restaurants in Geneva were shut we dined […] at the hotel and found the meal well-cooked, well-presented, well-served and relatively cheap. The hotel used to be rather dark but the newish redecoration has made it much more light. While the bathroom was somewhat small it was so well appointed and laid out that we did not notice its size. The double bed was vast and yet the room did not appear crammed. If one is looking for an excellent, small hotel conveniently placed both for the centre of the city and for the railway station one should not look beyond the Rotary. Great experience to stay in the HOtle, the check service was very good and gave more info than what was required. As new visitor to the city this starts the stay off on the right notr. It was located in a convenient part of the town. The service was very good. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Over all I had a very pleasant experience.

Rotary is one of my favorite hotels in Geneve. The staff is wonderful and very accomodating. The location is an easy walk to the train station and to the Old City. Tip: For a wonderful meal and great wine go to Rouge et Blanc, two streets over on the river. Wonderful wines by the glass and a frequently changing menu. Old World character.

Cordial reception - we appreciated complementary internet and the free pass for the busses and trams. Room large and quiet - first class bathrooms and amenities. Somewhat far from public parking (Parking des Alpes) 80 francs for 2 days - hotel should negotiate better rate for guests. Overall great value if you visit over the weekend.

This is a real jewel of a hotel. Great location, within walking distance of public transportation, and the sites. The breakfast buffet was a gourmet meal. The bed linens were comfortable and of first quality as were the bath amenities and linens. Excellent, knowlegeable staff, eager to please If you have the opportunity grab it!!!!!

i rate the hotel = 89 % i'll give a breif review as a points: -old and small elevator(as a cage),you have to take the stairs from the ground leve to the 1st level, the from the 1st level you can use elevator -the reception they are not bad (77%) - there is an AC and its good

HOTEL IS LOCATED WITHIN FEW MINUTES WALKING FROM THE TRAIN STATION. ROOMS ARE VERY CLEAN AND WELL APPOINTED. STAFF ARE VERY COURTEOUS. PRICE IS EXCELLENT COPARED TO HOW EVERY RHIND IS SO EXPENSIVE IN GENEVE

Very decent hotel in a nice area very close to the lake. Stayed there for only one night as i was traveling for business. It is a classic hotel with a distinct character. Room was large, clean and quiet although the heavy old carpeting makes it feel not as clean as it really is. Furniture and ambiance is a bit oldish but that's the style of the hotel. This was a wonderful way to end out trip to Europe. The staff upgraded our room because we were patient in waiting for it. It was very convenient to the places we wanted to go as well as just a five minute walk to a train that took us to the airport for free. The room was well decorated and the king size bed and linens were very comfortable. My only […] negative comment would be the breakfast; we thought it was expensive and was very limited. I stayed one night at The Rotary and wished I could stay longer. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. My room looked out onto a courtyard. The bed was comfortable, the sheets crisp and clearly all cotton. The bathroom amenities were abundant and high quality. The location is near the train station and certainly walkable. Cab orders are taken […] and arrive on time. When I came back from dinner my bed was turned down and chocolates on the table. The Evion was complimentary. Breakfast I can't comment on because 36 Swiss francs seemed a little steep so I by-passed it. since I usually only have coffee and cereal. There is a Nepresso in the room so you can make coffee or tea, and I had breakfast bars with me so I was set. I am woman and was travelling alone and felt very safe both in the hotel and in the area. Fantastic hotel for the money. Brilliant location close the lake on the right bank so a really short walk over the bridge to the old town to the sights, lovely restaurants. A stone throw away from the boat tours. Only criticism would be the hot chocolate we ordered on room service was just a sachet for 6swiss Francs...£4.50!!!!

The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from the station. Very helpful, charming receptionist. We received a free upgrade to a superior room at the back overlooking a tree lined square. Smart, large room - if the hinges or handles squeak, Reception will fix it. For a cheap, local cafe for breakfast, - leave by the front door, turn left and left at the […] end of the road - watch out for the sparrows flying around inside the cafe. For a reasonable priced evening meal, try Le Petit Chalet on the Rue Chaponnierre on the way back to the station. Excellent lasagne. Läs mer

The room was beautiful and the hotel's service was great. Lots of little extras in the rooms including free WiFi.

Hotel is in a good location but rooms are very old and the smoke for previous years made my stay very unconfortable.

Room was comfortable and well appointed. Wireless internet free and worked well. Staff friendly and helpful. Location OK, not amazing (don't worry, safe and convenient). Would stay again.

Very small room....outrageous price for a breakfast... Used to be the old Sofitel and I can undertstand it is no longer a Sofitel hotel...

Ideally situated, minutes walk to the train station, two blocks away from Lac Geneva and the Mont Blanc Bridge, modest exterior but very well appointed interior, beautiful spacious room (by European and American standards), at a more than competitive price. very nice hotel, within walking distance from the railway station and old city, clean and comfort. The manager pays attention even to small details. The personnel speaks English fluently. We did not taste the breakfast - we thought it was too expensive. There are cosy boulangeries in the vicinity. Undoubtedly this is a hotel worth consideration.

Overall the hotel was very nice! The room was comfortable the location was convenient. The hotel staff was not always well-versed in english, which was sometimes problematic, and the restaurant was extraordinarily expensive!!!

My daughter and I stayed for one night in a twin room, chosen at random from the internet, and were not disappointed. The room was fairly small and basic with a hidden mini bar and kettle etc. The bathroom was small but modern with lovely toiletries, bathrobes and slippers! I was directed to park in a lot on Saturday. When I went to get my car on Sunday, the lot was closed. The main desk was apologetic and the bellman was awesome in contacting security and getting the lot opened for me. However, it cost me over 70 CHF to get my car out. Had I read French, I would have been able to read the "closed on sunday" sign.

I was very statisfied with my experience at the Hotel Rotary. While the decor is a bit dated it was very clean and comfortable, the staff was terific the interent access was free and the location can not be beat.

Hotel was great - my only gripe was that the wifi kept cutting out.

Hotel Rotary was a wonderful hotel with a great location- the only problem was my inability to get them to give me a wake up call. One morning it was received late and the next morning I didn't receive one at all. Fortunately, I had set the alarm on the TV set which did wake me up. That was the only problem.
