Otroligt vackert! Är man intresserad av historia och uppskattar det lilla extra så är detta ett perfekt hotell! Riktigt vackert! Passa på att boka ett Club Room så frukost och loungen ingår. Frukosten är fin men inte direkt ostmacka och gröt. Missa inte deras lounge om du har ett club rum. Man bjuds på gott vin och tilltugg. Personalen på detta hotell […] är otroligt trevlig och serviceinriktad! Lite trist område med banker åt ena hållet och lite nedgånget åt andra hållet. Men ligger nära tbana och bussar så man kan lätt ta sig runt. Var där en vecka utan bil och det gick utmärkt! Besöker gärna hotellet igen. Läs mer

Mycket trevligt hotel i Downtown L.A. Otrolig lobby och hotellet ger en känsla av 40/50-tal. En Hall of fame-korridor finns där man får en uppfattning om hotellets storhetstid. En fantastisk cocktailbar där de hade Live Jazz @ the Biltmore på helgerna. Nära till Staples Center och shoppingkvarter. Rekomenderas!

Hotellet var mycket fint med närhet till t.ex. Staples center och lite shopping ! Hotellet hade även en fin träningsanläggning med olika sorters maskiner, stor pool, bubbelpool osv.

Traditionellt hotel med fantastisk lobby och allmänna utrymmen. Rummen stora med ganska slitna. Bra läge i downtown LA men downtown LA är som område ganska 'dött' efter arbetstid.

Very enjoyable 6 night stay , great location in the centre of downtown easy walking to down town attractions, also close to bus and train for to travel to other parts of LA. and tickets are only $1.25 per trip. The Biltmore is beautiful! The architecture, ornate ceilings and grand halls are stunning. I didn't know that 4 presidents, and the Beatles stayed there. And to think I got such a deal on Hotels.com... Downtown LA is vastly different from the LA of the 80"s. the Biltmore area is clean and I felt safe. Several cool restaurants/bars in the area too.

We have stayed many times at the L.A. Biltmore. The first room we were given #892 smelled like a party of smokers were in there for a weekend...we could NOT believe that a maid did NOT notice it! The bellman came to bring us keys to another room, and he too could not believe that when the maids cleaned the NON-SMOKING & did not say anything to management! […] All meals & the Bar were fantastic as always. Great entertainment in the bar and the service was tops. The morning of our breakfast...in the lobby a girl fell asleep on a side couch, with her dirty bare feet on a chair she pulled up. I really enjoyed the check in person. She was professional but very friendly. She upgraded me to a lovely suite. Unfortunately no fault of the hotel, street drilling began at 6am. Bring earplugs - you are downtown!

Beautiful place to stay, be sure to check out the pool. Extra expenses to be aware of are parking is $40.00 per day and internet is $9.95 per day per device.

We really enjoyed our one-night stay on this "vacation" one mile from home. The hotel's pool is absolutely beautiful and we were by ourselves in it for a good hour on a Friday evening. By paying $15 extra for the club room we were on the "top floor" (second to top) and got to eat a free breakfast in the club lounge on the top floor. The continental […] breakfast was fairly elegant (pastries were excellent). This is a classic old hotel so things aren't spanking new as they would be in a remodeled facility but the club rooms are refurbished and very, very nice. The only complaint I have is that they told me the hot tub was also open but it wasn't though the steam room and sauna were open. Didn't matter since the hotel pool is as striking as it could be. The lobby bar (next to "Cognac Room" which is only an adjacent room, not a bar in itself) is GREAT and very lively with a local crowd. Läs mer

Beds had no headboards, (had better comfort at Best Western) TV had few channels, no fridge or mini-bar, no free wi-fi, high price for few amenities. The building itself is historically amazing. Both times I asked valet for directions and or recommendations of where to eat they steered me wrong. They should have also disclosed their astronomical parking fee!!! Rooms were clean and beds comfortable but the set up was not the best and the bathroom was not ideal for a family of 4 trying to get ready. Quite honestly, the old gal is tattered. The 20s mirror in the bathroom is missing a few pieces. There's schmutz staring back at you on the bathroom door. Towels slightly better than the Y. They don't answer the phone. Ambience in their restaurant so deadly I ate in the bar. But let's be fair. Eating breakfast on the 11 th floor for club members is […] a treat. And when it's time to go looking at pearls and diamonds, you're there. I wouldn't pick it as a tourist, but people do. You can hear the elevator dings from your room. I found nothing good about this Hotel/ MOTEL. The bath room was dirty and old. The sink was over the toilet. the room was loud and I could hear everything said on the street and was on the 3rd floor. I travel every week and this was the most over hyped Dump ever!!

The lobby and lower area of the hotel was amazing. It felt like we stepped into another, very glamorous time zone. The room was just ok. It was very spacious and the beds were comfy, but it lacked any decor and the windows were so dirty we couldn't even see out of them. Also the bathroom was teeny tiny and did not have ANY counter space. It was very […] difficult to get ready in. I ended up with my blow dryer in the sink and my daughter knocked my toothbrush into the shower. Gross. A mirror somewhere in the main room next to an outlet would be a HUGE improvement. I was a guest of this hotel about six months ago and did not really like the service or the condition of the room (dirty, old mattress and power switches out of reach). The rest of the hotel is really nice with a lot of history, so I gave it another try. Sorry to tell you that my experience did not improve.

Be very careful when using the business centre for emails etc. and read the fine print to see how much you will be charged. Many hotels which have a much lower nightly rate also have free email.

BIG room, SMALL bathroom; electrical outlets lacking - i.e. our room had a 'dressing' area, but no outlets for hair dryers, etc. Overall, a good experience, would stay again.

The only unpleasant surprise was the $40/night parking charge. I also was expecting a complimentary continental breakfast. So all in all, though the Expedia price was a bargain, the rest of the expenses are what one would have expected in a first class hotel.

1920's glamor- OSCARs was held @ the Biltmore Ballroom in bygone days but hotel is amazingly well kept in main lobbies -original lobby still offers 'High Tea' with scones! Smaller 'Hearst like tiled' pool well maintained ,we tried out the 'marbled wet steam room' /health club - free wts and machines .Bar offers live, jazz band on Friday/Saturday evenings. […] Staff attentive and dressed in 1920's fashions - we ordered room service (slightly pricey - $16.00 for plain /artichoke hearts linguine) -came on an old fashioned rolling cart - rolls and silverware came in 'linen envelopes'. room was larger than we expected though we got full vs queen size beds but room had comfy club chair with ottoman , antique y, writing desk supported 20+ flat screen, and small separate desk:. 'walk -in closet, & pulled string bulb' - quaint. Smaller bathroom, sink and toilet together but had great deep old fashioned soaking tub! here for 15yr daughter dance concert at nearby LA Theater Center, walkable Romantic, historic location yes maybe there were a few chipped paint on the floor moldings on your bathroom, but the extra detail to the panel moldings of the room made up for that and the plantation shutters cut out the sunshine filled space ,Exited down off 5th floor on the (famous, movie-zed wrought iron, carpeted ) stairwell most time of the time. - just be careful @ the last landing the steps are not the same size as rest of the steps.
