Hotell Miramar at Waikiki - Honolulu

Vi hade hotellet som transferhotel ( endast 1 natt ) inför en kryssning. Vi tyckte det var mycket prisvärt, med bra läge nära Waikiki Beach.

Bra standard, i alla fall om man uppgraderar till havsutsikt. Rummet är inte stort men innehåller allt man behöver - sköna sängar. Det finns även AC. Det allra bästa är dock läget. Allt man behöver se på Waikki ligger inom tio minuters avstånd. Vill man se annat är busshållplatsen bara cirka 50 meter från hotellet.

Ett prisvärt hotell som ligger bra, nära Internationella marknaden, busshållplats, strand och centrala Waikiki. Det finns en trevlig italiensk restaurang snett över gatan med helt okej frukostmeny. Very convenient location near beach, shopping and food. Beautiful glass elevator!

Yeah you could stay 2 streets closer to the beach ...and pay for the privlage but why bother. This hotel was close enough to everything, free internet, a pool with a great little bar! Rooms were good beds comfy, staff excellent. Get out and about for all your meals and have a great holiday. ps do a one day island tour if you can!

Very happy wtih hotel, It was a great location, close to transport, international markets,pool quite small bit disappointing, has a 24 hour dinner next door it you need it, across road you have small supermarket for grocerys and pharmacy coffee shop and plenty of places to eat close by. would recomment Dukes for breakfast in outrigger best in hawaii […] buffet $16and the cheesecake shop for lunch and dinner best 2 places to eat in hawaii, food there is amazing and very large serves.Both very close to the Miramar. Only complaint in general with USA all food is loaded in sugar!! very happy to be home with where bread is bread and not sweet.....simple pleasures...Aussies take your own Vegimite and Tea, the tea over there is not good.If you want clothing bargains go to Ross's ,the one near Ali moana is the best... great service in general everywhere, I think cos they rely on tipping to boost the income.....Had a great time would diffineately stay at the Miramar again if i went back.....have fun and enjoy.....Aloha............... We stayed at the Miramar in Feb 2012. We found the employees friendly and accommodating. Asked for a change of rooms as we wanted a higher view and they did this for us. The hotel was clean. The location was central to shopping and the beach and art shops. Would stay here again and would recommend this hotel.

Hotel very pleasant and Restaurant DENNY's good food and close by. Breakfast buffet over priced and more geared for guests from the orient. bathrooms should have some handrails for older guests to get in and out of bath tubes and showers. staff at front desk very friendly and helpful. charge for oversea phone calls...Canada....4 minutes for $ 21.oo […] ......simply too much. This hotel is located in the hotel district of Waikik not far from the beach. Reasonably priced and rooms fine. Just had peeling paint on bathroom door. Shower was lovely best all holiday.Rooms comfortable and clean. Room service was good. Shame we didn't like Waikik or downtown Honolulu but hotel was fine. this was my first stay at the mirarmar. i needed an affordable room for one night. i loved the location, very centralized and near everything i needed! the bed was comfortable, actually the pillows were the best in waikiki! the room was clean and well maintained. i would definitely stay there again!

Hotel is conveniently located to international market, shops, restaurants, Waikiki beach and bus stop. 24 hour laundromat onsite is handy. Only wifi available in the lobby. Would stay here again.

Very nice hotel. More than I expected. Not on Waikiki beach, but still had nice views. A block away from the Hawaiian Village outdoor shopping area. I was very pleased.

Very covenience for Shopping, taking bus, going to Waikiki beach, and so on.

Location good but beds poor. Could feel springs and one bed had depression like low spot. Noisy area even on upper floors. Quieter on pool side.

The price was reasonable and the hotel was very clean. The only issues I had was the lack of amenities the hotel offered. There was no hot tub or workout facilities and the parking rates per night were a bit extreme for hotel guests. Overall the location of the hotel is excellent. Very close to the beach and shopping. The staff were friendly and receptive […] to the needs of the guests. The hotel overall was a 4 out of 5 but the options available were 2 of out 5. The pool closing at 7:30pm also was a downer. This is the second time I have stayed here. The hotel is in a great location and the staff were great. My only comment is they didn't always fill up the tea bags! The rooms are a little tired but the place suits me fine and yes I will stay here again.

My family and I stayed at this hotel between Christmas and New Years. The hotel was very clean and we received a room with a great view. Generally good place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Good pool. Cons: Shower only gets warm Ice only on one floor Garage does not take credit cards

This was a nice stay for new years eve with no problems. The only minor problem was a check in. I was told I am given a partial ocean view room. Told the clerk I paid for Ocean view and not partial. He checked it out and stated he was sorry and gave me the Ocean View Room.

Our family had two rooms and we had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. Room accommodations were good, cleanliness was outstanding, and hotel staff very helpful. One complaint. Our family is very "connected", and wireless was restricted to several areas of the hotel. While the rooms are wired, we are not. And the wieless connection was extremely sl […] ow. Läs mer

If you want to say $$, stay here. Two blocks to the beach by walking through the city.

Great location and good sized room the only negitive comment you cant get into your room from 3pm onwards and after a long flight thats the last thing you need to be told

bed was the most uncomfortable ever. bathroom was dirty and old and room was so small.

The hotel was nice and clean, but the lobby was under construction and the pool area closed by 7 pm,. That meant there wasn't really any place to hang out at the hotel in the evenings and enjoy the evening air. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. For the Waikiki area, it was very reasonably priced and only a few blocks off the beach. The […] only bad part of the stay was the water temperature fluctuated constantly. While taking a shower the water would suddenly turn ice cold when someone flushed a toilet somewhere else in the hotel. In a hotel that size, it happens every minute or so. Once I tried taking a shower in the afternoon when the hotel was more empty and it still happened. That was very unpleasant. The hotel has complementary wired internet in the rooms, which was convenient, but there was no outlet nearby so you could plug into power and the Internet at the same time. That would have been a big inconvenience for a business traveler, but for an occasional check of email, it wasn't a problem. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful getting a shuttle back to the airport at the end of the trip. The shuttle service they use was very efficient and the driver was very friendly, unlike the vulture services that hang at the airport and snag unwary incoming tourists. Overall, the hotel is well priced for the area, probably because they are under construction and a little of the beaten path. I'd probably pick a different hotel next time, because a big part of the hotel experience for me in a place like Waikiki is being able to sit out in a garden area and enjoy the breeze in a shady spot. This hotel didn't have anything like that. But if you are like to spend your time out on the beach or out doing the town, this hotel is a good base camp and I would recommend it. Läs mer

Hotel is located in the heart of Waikiki right by International Marketplace. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Very affordable. I would stay here again on our next family trip.

We chose the Miramar due to its location and reasonable pricing. Opting for an ocean facing room with lanai, we were given the 19th floor, and due the open carpark below, we had a reasonably open view. Our friends had a hinterland room on the top (22nd) floor and looked out to Diamond head (although their room was a little smaller than ours, but better […] bathroom) - both entirely acceptable. Our only complaint would be the very small mirror in our bathroom (as opposed to that of our friends), which makes it difficult when two people are in the bathroom at the same time! A larger mirror, or at least another mirror in the room would have been great. The pool area/bar is popular, however, I would NOT recommend a room overlooking this area (west facing room), due to somewhat noisy and extremely obnoxious patrons. At times, we struggled to have a conversation and quiet drink by the pool after our day’s activities due to the drunk and disorderly actions of some groups of guests . Buses and trolleys stop across the street, the the side reception door opens to the International Market. ABC stores (selling food – hot, cold, cereals/clothing/medicinals/make-up etc.) are numerous. A short walk through the marketplace, cross Kalakaua street and you're at the beach. The hotel organised a transfer to the airport for us - $10 pp, so no need to take a taxi. The hotel is value for money and in a great location, with everything almost at your fingertips. Great restaurants and bars are nearby - Cheesecake Factory, Jimmy Buffetts, Dukes, Hula Grill to name a few. Must try the frozen margaritas and experience the atmosphere at Jimmy Buffets! We would definitely stay at the Miramar again and would have no hesitation recommending it to family and friends. Läs mer

What a good location! From the side door, you walk through the International Markets (or a walkway) to many good restaurants and Waikiki Beach. Dukes, Hula Bar, Cheesecake Factory and Jimmy Buffets all at your fingertips. Go out the front doors and public transport is available right there! Great! Convenient location to all Waikiki has to offer: nightlife, dining, shopping. Walking out of the hotel to the hustle and bustle is exactly what I wanted.
