Hotellet var mycket bättre än förväntat då man hört att standarden på hotellrum är sisådär i USA.. Därför blev vi smått förvånade över de fina rummen (Double king size deluxe) och absolut värt lite extra pengar för att få lite mer utrymme. Rummet var fräscht och modernt innrett. Badrummet hade alla bekvämligheter och man kunde t o m höra med hotellpersonalen […] om man glömt något så ordnade dem med detta. Inte särskilt lyhört rum docn en fläkt utanför vårt fönster som störde lite men inte nämnvärt. Fin men dyr frukost och Starbucks runt hörnet fungerade lika bra. Hotellpersonalen var utmärkt trevlig och hotellet låg väldigt centralt vilket också var ett stort plus, Ca 10 min till Macy`s och 3-5 min till Grand Central, Kan varmt rekommendera hotellet och kommer återvända dit utan att tveka igen!!! Ett trevligt mindre midtownhotell. Mycket snygg design i lobby och i rummen. Trevlig hjälpsam personal. Vine Hour varje dag i lobbyn mellan 17-18 där det bjuds på goda viner. Bra läge på Park Avenue - promenadavstånd till Times Square och till Central Park mm. Nära till Grand Central Station

Hotellet håller hög klass. Rummen är något små om man är fyra personer med vars en resväska, men det fungerar. Personalen är mycket trevlig och hjälpsam. Enda problemet var att varje dag få fyra uppsättningar handdukar. In- och utcheckning fungerar mycket smidigt och conciergen hade många bra tips till oss. Frukost åt vi på en lokal diner ett kvarter […] bort, i hörnet av Madison och 38th Street. Där fanns mycket att välja på. Läget på hotellet är perfekt, endast fem minuters promenad från Grand Central Station där tunnelbanan finns och här stannar även flygbussen från Newark. Det är gångavstånd till hotellet, även med resväskor. Det är andra gången vi bodde där och vi kommer gärna tillbaka. Läs mer

Detta hotell ligger bra med närhet till Grand Central och Time Sqare (10 min). Gatan är lugn och vill man ha affärer och restauranger blir det att ta en tvärgata åt något håll. Rummen är mysiga och trevligt inredda. badrummet är funktionellt dock slitet och något trångt. Städningen är något ojämn, minibaren fylls inte på. Personalen är trevlig och […] hjälpsam, men glöm inte driksen, då blir de sura. Restaurangen och baren är inte märkvärdigt, fungerar bra om det spöregnar ute, men inte så mycket mer. De stänger lite tidigt på kvällen för att vara på ett hotell. beställer du mat ska du räkna med att det tar tid innan den kommer. Servicen kunde man önska lite mer av. Vi spenderade 5 nätter på detta hotell och kan bara ge bra beröm. Hotellpersonalen var väldigt tillmötesgående och gästvänliga. Fick byta rum utan problem - rummet var i minsta laget och mot bakgården vilket kändes väldigt klaustrofobiskt. Rummet vi bytte till var mot gatan och väldigt rymligt. Inga ljud från gatan störde oss nattetid. Mycket bra isolerat […] - dock kan man inte säga detsamma om dörren ut till hotellgången. Hördes väldigt mycket när gäster anlände till sina rum. Hotellet ligger nära Macy´s och Empire State Building samt Grand Central Station. På hotellet finns en "guide" som man kan fråga vart det finns bra restauranger, saker att göra etc. Hon bokade ett bord till oss på Benjamin´s Steakhouse vilket var en gourmetupplevelse om man gillar kött. Stora fina rum. Tyvärr så hade vi ett fläktsystem utan för vårt fönster, så det gick inte att ha det öppet.

Bra läge nära till Metro (Centalstationen). Dessutom nära till Time square, 5:e Avenyn, Empire state bilding mm. Lugnt område.

Vi tillbringade en vecka på detta trevliga och välbelägna hotell. Vänligt bemötande, bra städning, nära till t ex Grand Central Station och Macy`s, två kvarter till närmaste frukostställe, snabbt åtgärdande av för hårda kuddar och dålig vattenavrinning från duschen. Vårt rum var något trångt och vette mot livligt trafikerad gata, så ta för säkerhets […] skull med öronproppar! Våra medresenärers rum var rymligt och tyst, och därmed lite dyrare. Overall we are very satisfied with the hotel and we got it with good price. First we got a room from the 2nd floor (=louder noises from the street), but we easily changed the room next day to 16th floor. The 2nd floor room were quite a lot bigger, but 16th floor room were quieter and with a view to Empire State building. :) The room was very clean, […] comfortable bed and as a Kimpton member we got a free wifi and 15$ to spend from mini bar (=a beer and few nuts ;)). Receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Every morning you could get coffee from the lobby and 5:00-6:00 pm there were free wine served. Hotel location is also good. Only two blocks from the Grand Central and if you use airport busses the walk is very short. Only few minor issues that comes to mind. The air conditioner was a little quirky. It did not seem to cool the room very efficiently and just blew very hard. Street noises came quite clearly even to 16th floor, but that's quite expected. Remember to take ear plugs where ever you stay. And finally the room was quite small and there were no room to stack your clothes. Läs mer

the room is not as spacious as it is advertised. the fixture in bathroom are old. an unknow charges is found on credit card payment, called hotel, but got voice mail only, still awaiting for reply

This hotel is run by caring and personal managment. You can see this by what they genetly offer. It is also cozy and makes you feel at home. Close to attraction and has New Yorkers' spirt.

The concierge staff was wonderful.....friendly and helpful! Loved the hotel bar......cozy, intimate and beautiful decor.........breakfast was delicious and relaxing. LOVED the leopard robes..........our room was very quiet and comfortable! Enjoyed the neighborhood and convenience of location. Definitely would stay here again!

My husband and I love staying at this hotel for its size, location and fantastic concierge service. This was our third stay and we hope to enjoy many more!

Great location with friendly and helpful staff. First night We got double on lower floor facing the back and room was great but dark because window faced narrow alley and opposing building. The air conditioning was excellent though. The next day requested a change to a higher floor with more light. That was much better and window could open but the […] air conditioner was weak at best. Stayed at 70 Park Avenue March 14th and 15th The location was great. The service was awesome. There was a bottle of bubbly waiting for us when we arrived as an anniversary gift. My only complaint was the too soft bed. Otherwise it was perfect.

My stay was better than expected in many ways, but the staff kicked it up a notch.

This was my second time staying at this hotel and it was convenient for walking to my office in Midtown Manhattan and for Broadway shows in Times Square. Would definitely stay here again.

What an amazing experience at the hotel. The manager at the hotel accommodated my friend and I after reserving a single. The manager without hesitation offered me a double-bed and hotel staff moved my belongings to the other room in the mid morning. I don't remember the manager's name but he was a SWEETHEART and made me feel quite welcomed and appreciative! […] Will be back asap and will certainly stay here for years to come. We got a deluxe King suite, so we had a tub with jets, which was amazing. It didn't look exactly like the picture though. The furnishings in the hotel were really sleek and modern, but the hotel room itself wasn't comfortable because it was so cold. Rooms and bath were larger than expected. Trouble with heat when we first arrived, but was promptly taken care of. Nice lobby and conceirge was very helpful. Would definitely stay there again if my business is on the East side. Short cab ride to LaGuardia.

Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel. We can't say enough good things about the staff -- so friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is great, -- more residential on the other side of Park, which is nice. While the halls are tights and the bathroom needs something other than a pedestal sink to place items, it was a great experience overall […] and at very reasonable prices. My husband and I stayed at 70 Park during Christmas. We were so pleased as to how close we were to Grand Central and Times Square! The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff was very inviting and warm. The door attendant always welcomed us back from our outing and our room was attended to on a daily basis. There was a daily wine reception in the […] evenings in the lobby; that was a very classy touch, and coffee in the mornings. Although the location of this hotel is great - it is extremeley over priced for what you get. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are extremely small. The hotel lobby is really small - and no bar - to even congregate and have a cocktail.. Also when I stayed there the restaurant was closed. The hotel lobby was buzzing when I arrived with guests taking advantage of the free wine happy hour. Morning coffee was a hit as well. Room service- pass as the meal was charred. Hotel is well kept and cute but if you stay ask for a room that does not overlook Park Avenue. As a busy street, cabs are honking at all hours of the day and night. New York […] hotel rooms are small and that doesn't bother me since I don't typically spend a lot of time in my room. While I expected a small room, I did not expect to have to literally step over the toilet to get into the shower. Make you are agile. Location is 2 blocks from Grand Central Station which makes it easy to get anywhere on the subway. This is a great hotel for a business traveler with a lot of conveniences including free wi-fi. We found that the bathroom was too small. I am a small person and had difficulty managing...my husband could barely raise his hands over his head to blow dry his hair with the door closed.

This was my first stay at 70 Park Ave and I was very pleasantly surprised. The rooms were lovely, the bathroom just a little bit small, it was a little bit noisey but all-in-all it was a very nice place to stay in the City.

The hotel enjoys a good location, a few blocks from Grand Central station and within easy walking distance of a number of locations. However for the price you can find something so much better and much more central. The Park Ave address is not worth it. Try some of the more central midtown hotels. Better value to be had elsewhere.

I had hoped to have a relatively quiet room to take a break from a hectic work schedule. The bed was huge - too big for the room - but very comfortable. There were not any available outlets to plug a phone charger or a computer; had to disconnect some lamps to do so. The bathroom is extremely tiny, even for one person. Worst of all was the noise from […] within the hotel. I did not get any street noise, but the noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms was loud and annoying. Any noise from anywhere near the room was amplified. Loud door closings, loud telephone conversations, a barking dog, a birthday celebration at 11:00pm, etc., all from hotel guests. Small rooms and smaller bathrooms but friendly, hip, and very pleasant. Wine in the afternoon, green apples and lemon water 24/7.

A little far from Theater, Times Square, Centrl Park, but not too far from Macy's, Lord and Taylor, The Parade, Empire State Building. Taxis not too expensive. But it took 15 to 20 minutes to get one so allow the extra time. Room was nice, but no heat for 3 days, called 2 of the three days and still did not fix. Room was a King Size Bed and a little […] cramped especially trying to hang coats since it rained the first 2 days. Missing an item out of the frig but it was just some snacks we brought. Very easy to get to/from Grand Central (and ~1 mile from Penn Station). If you're in New York City and planning to get around by public transportation, this is a pretty good spot. Easy walking distance to Bryant park and not much further to Rockefeller Ctr. Rooms can be cramped, but are comfortable and clean. Service is excellent.

Location and hospitality are a plus, bathrooms very small. Nice hotel for a short stay at a reasonable price.

This is a hotel whose doors never close, literally. If the weather had been nice that would be fine but when it is chilly the lobby gets very cold. On top of that, those smoking outside share their smoke with everyone in the lobby. On the plus side, you never know whom you will meet in the elevator. That's because the elevator doesn't always go where […] you think it is going and it is slow enough that you can strike up a real conversation. There is no coffee in the room and no coffee in the lobby until 7 am and that's on weekdays. You have to wait until 8 on Saturday and Sunday and the neighborhood doesn't offer much earlier either. The hotel is convenient to Times Square, Union Station, Bryant Park, and is right off the Midtown tunnel. The room was cozy (as most in NYC are) but well appointed and nice. A minor repair issue was promptly addressed by a friendly hotel engineer. Check-in was smooth and easy.
