We stayed here for two nights while heading to the Grand Canyon. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was great after a day of hiking. The breakfast was good with lots of seating area. No newspapers available in the lobby (even to purchase). Some fast food restaurants within walking distance but we drove a short distance for dinner. Enjoyed staying at this hotel. Seems that it should be rated higher. Elmer the Elk adds a special touch to the rustic atmosphere of the spacious breakfast area. Decent breakfast, my son looked forward to the cookies in the evening. Rooms were clean. Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful with any information we asked about. With a $20 pet fee instead of the normaly $50 at most places, this place was great. Booked on hotels.com and received a great rate that includes a full hot breakfast which is exactly what is needed when you are going to have a full day of sightseeing. Staff was awsome.

I had booked the hotel on hotels.com. When we checked in the room wasn't what I had asked for. I called the front desk and they upgraded us to a suite with no extra charge. They even thru in the roll away beds for free as well. I appreciated them for doing this and not giving me a hassle. The comfort of the rooms was good, service, breakfast were all […] awesome. We found this hotel to be especially clean and comfortable. There is an attractive lobby/dining area with fireplace and nice furnishings.

The staff where most helpful and courteous. The rooms where comfortable, however a little on the small size. The good thing about this hotel was its central location. We used this hotel as our gateway to the Grand Canyon. The whole family where happy with this hotel. Would recommendfor families.

I was on a business trip for an EMS conference in Flagstaff. My room was very nice and comfortable. I had stayed for 4 nights and everyday I had a pleasant stay. Breakfast bar was delicious and hot and hotel staff were very nice and professional. I will be recommending this hotel to friends and family. I have NO complaints about this hotel.

Our room was next to the main road but overall not too noisy. Plenty of hot water and the bed was comfy. Loved the pillows! The breakfast was great! Two kinds of waffles, two breakfast meats, three kinds of eggs, two kinds of juice plus all the bagels, breakfast rolls and toast. A good way to start the day on our advenrure to the Grrand Canyon. It was great! We got a good deal but even if next time the deal is not available, we will still try to stay there. The breakfast was fantastic! Just wish they would have hot chocolate available at night, like they have coffee & tea (for kids). Oh & our bathroom door was in a very awkward spot. Overall had a very nice stay.

The area was very nice and close to many restaurants and stores. The hotel was clean and the room was well taken care of by a wonderful lady, I believe her name was Ericka. She was very friendly as was the rest of the staff. My family and I enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this hotel to everyone!!!

This was a great hotel to stay at. Nice and clean. The morning staff wasn't at the desk for a while when I went to check out. That was the only thing I didn't like very much. Otherwise, the hotel was great!

Very nice, clean, hotel. My son and I stayed during a recent cross-country trip. The staff was very helpful with recommendations for local dining and entertainment. The hotel decor was nice, and we enjoyed the hot breakfast very much.

Well at first I was disappointed because the room smelled like smoke and it was a nonsmoking room. So i immediately as for another room. I was granted another room right away, right next door. But all was fine.

This hotel has the most delightful breakfast room. We wanted to spend all our time there! Employees were very helpful. We generally prefer a more upscale hotel, but this one looked good, had a reasonable pet fee and a great bed. The only problem we found was that it was noisy. You could hear people walking up and down the hall and door opening and closing […] and thumps and bumps all night. Next time I'll put the ear plugs in and just stay. I recommend this place. We enjoyed our 3 night stay here, the town is a great place to stay when visiting Grand Canyon. Hotel was nice & quiet, room was comfortable, breakfast was plentiful. The only thing missing was a bar within the hotel but that's just my opinion, it would have been nice to just relax with a drink after a long day at G.Canyon. We bought a bottle of wine […] and sat in the Great Room in an evening which was very peaceful & relaxing, this is the highlight of the hotel, beautiful room!! great location and easy to NAU, 40 and 17 freeways. It is close to many restaurants. My one complaint is noise. You can really hear it if a child in running up and down a hallway. Staff is friendly. It seems that all of Flagstaff is pricey in terms of hotels. Grounds and hotel are very clean

Front desk welcomed us with a smile right away. We were especially made to feel comfortable when the staff members welcomed our dog, as well. The location was surprisingly convenient to anything we wanted to do (dining downtown, farmer's market, etc.) We enjoyed that there were plenty of restaurants right accross the street. The hotel and grounds were […] clean and well-kept. The decor had a cozy lodge-feel. In the morning, the smell of the complimentary breakfast was amazing! I don't think you can really beat this hotel for the price. It is an older property and the rooms are a little bit on the small side but it's been updated and was really nice. The breakfast was outstanding.
