I didn't expect much due to the cheap price and some other reviews that I read before I got there. The motel was better than i had thought, big room that didn't smell and lots of tv channels. They also cleaned my room every day, even though I left at 2pm two of the days I was there.

Vår vistelse på Hilton Portland & Executive Tower var mycket bra. Perfekt läge mitt i centrala Portland (där allt i centrum ligger inom gångavstånd), trevlig hotellpersonal och god mat i hotellbaren. Rummet skulle må bra av en liten uppdatering men i övrigt har jag ingenting att klaga på hos detta hotell. Jag kommer förmodligen bo där igen vid nästa vistelse i Portland.

"Stained Towels"
The beds are short and your feet hang over the edge, so plan on sleeping diagonally and not sharing a bed! The towels are threadbare and stained, they really need to charge a couple bucks more and buy new towels with the extra cash. "Convenient location - excellent staff"
Brairwood Suites were located in a convenient location with easy access to mass transit that got me anywhere that I needed to be in Portland. The rooms were very cozy and felt more like small apartments than hotel rooms. "Rude Morning Staff"
The room was ok we did notice what seemed to be a dried blood stain on the lamp-shade, They do not put the coffee in your room with the cod=ffee maker, rather you have to ask for it at the desk where they promptly inform you you will only get one, and take down your room number when you get it. The "Continental Breakfast" was a box of dollar store muffins […] each the size of a silver dollar, and the worst tasting coffee I have had. While you get your "breakfast" the staff will stare at you like you are trying to steal something. If you even hesitate for a second they will ask rudely "What do you want? What are you looking for?" Then on departure they will try to claim more people stayed in your room than actually did and wil charge you without your permission. If the room did not stink so much of old cigarette smoke and who knows what else, our stay would have been great. "Just one night."
Good location for our drive to Seattle the following morning (next to I-205). Wanted to see East side of Portland and this hotel was cheap. Front desk was curt but friendly. Room itself was spacious and provided mini-fridge. Problems: bathroom / desk lights barely worked. "Free wi-fi" was more or less a joke. Other people staying there seemed shifty […] but no safety issues. Stepped in a jelley stain on the carpet that cleaning people missed. "The Briarwood Suites in Portland Oregon"
This hotel is what you expect for two stars. The price was good and the beds were comfortable. The front desk clerk gave us a quiet room and was very friendly on checkin. "The Suite Life."
The Briarwood Suites was ideal for my stay. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and the room was clean, simple and secure. The neighborhood gives quick service to downtown and provides local eateries and shopping. "Good deal for the price"
I stayed here because it is close to where my son lives and i was in Portland for the Portland State graduation. My room was large, clean and functional. The neighborhood isn't great but isn't terrible either. I received a discount for being with the graduation party so the price was totally right. While the Briarwood is conveniently located off of Interstate 205 for the traveler heading north toward Seattle, it is far from the downtown attractions of Portland and requires a drive of dozens of blocks just to get across the river. "Adequate Basic Lodging"
You get what you pay for. This is a no frills, realitively inexpensive hotel. They have a combination of smoking and non-smoking rooms. Mine was non-smoking, but clearly had been at one time as there were several cigarette burns in the room. The free breakfast is basically a bagel and a cup of coffee. "Briarwood Suites--Used to be Shabby but Clean"
This was the third time I have stayed here, because it is the most convenient hotel for my purposes. It is shabby, but the rooms are big, it was always pretty clean, and the staff is extremely nice. However, this time I was shocked by the poor housekeeping and, if I hadn't paid in advance, would have left after the first night.
