Hotellet höll på att renoveras. Receptionen på 1:a våningen. Långsamma hissar. En fåtölj var i dåligt skick , bordet var för litet. Fantastiska sängar. Takpoolen var dåligt underhållen, smutsigt vatten varje dag (7 dagar.)

Skulle vilja ha haft info innan om att dom byggde om. Pga detta borrades det mycket och hissarna fick man vänta på i en evighet ibland.

The hotel is undergoing refurbishment at the moment, but I doubt that it will be modern after that. At the moment everything smells of mould and the restaurants and bars are not appealing. However, the location is perfect, so if you get a good deal, it might still be worth considering.

Vi hade några fina dagar i Sydney. Hotellet var väldigt bra, läget bra oavsett var i staden man skulle till. Bra personal, mycket trevlig och hjälpsam. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta hotell för Sydney resa.

Ground floor renovations meant only 1 (v small) lift worked in this 20+ storey building - long long waits, very VERY frustrating. The hotel was in an excellent location, next to Hype Park and only a short walk to the harbour. However, the staff were rude and not particularly helpful from the moment we arrived. Renovations were going on in the hotel so we were woken early by drilling every morning. Two out of the three lifts were also not working which meant all guests had to use […] the one lift, proving rather difficult. What can I say about the Pullman. It's the most gorgeous, spacious best value for money hotel in Sydney. It isn't the first time I've stayed, nor will it be the last. Although the room was clean and comfortable the hotel was undergoing a large refurbishment - unfortunately this was not highlighted in any way until we had booked in. There was constant drilling heard throughout the hotel which was apparently supposed to only be from 10am until 4pm. However, I had to ring reception twice in three days at 7:30 in the […] morning to complain about the hammering! We enjoyed the stay very much. The rooms were nice, and the service was good. While I was there they had some issues with the lifts, but besides that I would love to stay with them again in the future. Rooms were clean and modern, great gym open 24 hours. Great food nearby too, and a park right there to enjoy. It's roughly a 20 minute walk to the opera […] house, but it's at least an enjoyable one, and Darling Harbour is probably about a 10 minute walk. Läs mer

Great hotel and staff but the age of the hotel is showing. But keeping in mind the price and the superb location cant complain. Very nice pool and gym on the top floor! Good equipment in room for family, microwave, kettle, cups, plates etc.

I arrived with my 20 year old daughter. We booked a room with 2 double beds. At check in the hotel staff members looked at me - a 50 year old man with his 20 year old daughter and said "i see you have booked a room with 2 double beds, but do you need a room with 2 beds or are you happy to have just one bed?" I though that was rather rude given that […] we had booked a 2 bed room - deliberately. Does she ask gay couples who book a room with one bed if they would prefer 2 beds? Quite good, Lifts were very slow, most likely due to one of the three being used for renovations. The room was very hot, had the AC set to 18.5 but it never got any cooler than about 25, was up to 27 at one point. Had to ask for a fan. Outside windows could do with a clean. Great views on the park side of the hotel - could be improved by cleaner windows. Furnishings in the room are looking a bit dated and well used - but not to the level that is an issue (just a little disappointing at first - a new sofa would go a long way to correct that feeling). Really disppointed by the fact that we were there on a saturday night […] and after getting back to the hotel at about 11pm from the coldplay concert - we found the bar had just shut! Pretty early for a saturday! There were still a good few people in the bar - so plenty of custom but not serving any longer. We ordered a bottle of champagne which arrived over an hour later and by that time we did not want it anymore. They gave us a hard time when we wanted to cancel it.. The keys to the room hardly worked and the common areas of the hotel are not well kept.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The view from our hotel window was lovely. Location was perfect! The room had good facilties, I did have to ask reception for shampoo and shower gel as there wasnt any only on our first day. Breakfast was not included for us but we did use room service and its was very nice food and service. My wife and I had a fantastic stay in Sydney, the corner room we stayed in had a fabulous view over the park and we could just see the Opera House looking down the Street. The hotel was very close to the Crown St bars and restaurants, plenty to do after dark. The roof top pool area would have been used if it had have been a bit warmer weather. but downmarked because of poor service from front desk. When I asked for a print of my boarding pass I was sent to the business ceneter where internet access is AUS9.95 for an hour... a bit much for a boarding passw here everywhere else in the wold the hotel have helped me printing one page..... That's a service I expect from a 4+Star hotel.

Stayed 3 nights at the Pullman Hotel, Hyde Park in Sydney and must say it was great. The receptionists and concierge service was 5 star. They helped with all questions and nothing was a problem for them. Top service. Our room had all the necessities and a great view overlooking the park and the city which was also great to see lit up at night. 5 nights at the Pullman with my wife and 2 young daughters of 3 and 6. Location was fantastic for walking around Sydney. Staff service was brilliant. The hotel was in a great location close to everything and extreamly well located for the wedding event that my partner and I were attending. The only down side to this property was that it's certainly not to Pullman standard. The rooms are EXTREAMLY dated and furnishings were not at a 5star level. The location for the expedia- promoted price was excellent - as was the quality of the room, good views on 18th floor, toiletries,and service overall. Excellent service, particularly from wait and bar staff. Tried to accommodate our early check in where possible by offering a temporary room for showering and rest upon arrival from an early flight (though this was not possible in the end, the gesture was appreciated). Beautiful views and great location to access shops, city life and transport. Downsides […] were small pool and spa (not really an issue), but don't pin your hopes on it, especially when holidaying children fill the spa, use the bath as its a decent size spa bath; and no extractor fan in the bathroom was not so great. Pullman Hotel is the former Marriott. Whilst the foyer areas have been renovated and looked nice our room had yet to be renovated. The room was a very old and tired Marriott room. From the pictures the new rooms will be great once completed just be aware that during this period you may end up in an old room.
