Hotell Raffaello Hotel - Chicago

Detta hotell är tyvärr långt ifrån 4-stjärnigt. Lobbyn är liten och luktar konstigt. Rummen är små och luktar stark klor! Läget är som tur var fantastiskt!

Raffaelo Hotel är inte det billigaste hotellet i Chicago men vi var väldigt nöjda med vårt boende där. Vi bodde tre vuxna i rummet på tredje våningen. Hotellet ligger alldeles i närheten av Hancock Building och på en tvärgata till Michigan Avenue. Rummet var mycket tyst och det tog tre minuter att gå till Water Tower Place som har en food court som […] serverar frukost, lunch och middag plus ett stort shoppingcenter. Därifrån är det sedan bara att promenera Magnificent Mile söderut med alla affärer och så småningom Millenium Park. Ett perfekt ställe att bo på när man ska upptäcka Chicago för första gången. Hotellet ar belaget alldeles vid Hancock och har ett toppenlage. Nara till Magnificent Mile, centrum, ja det mesta man vill se i Chicago. Stora, rena rum, bra service. Flera frukostrestauranger i narheten. Prova garna ocksa The Cheescake Factory som ligger alldeles i narheten!

What a find! Number ONE in service by personnel, from the front desk to the restaurant to the cleaning crew. All very professional in appearance and actions. Warm and inviting. Very authentic Italian. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The hotel is right beside the Hancock tower and that's a big plus if you want to visit the observatory early in the morning. The room was big, confortable and well manteined. I really enjoyed the big shower and brewed my own coffee in the morning (there was a coffee maker available). Getting to the airport is easy via CAT (train). We had a double bed room. Was very nice room. Small bathroom. Hotel is in a great place, wonderful old hotel which has been well taken care of. Only criticism would be that the lobby bar is really an afterthought. Poor selection of wine, too small and very drafty in the winter.

Nice and clean hotel, good location, I'll return for sure.

Great hotel I was there for work and found the room Relaxing with all the comforts of home. Only downside They don't list how go get there via public transit. This would have been. helpful especially since they are several blocks away and you have to change lines ( blue to red)

Room 1501 is nice and quite comfortable. However, as someone else said in a review, the push in knob on the toilet is almost too hard to push for a woman's strength. And, to get to the bathroom, everyone has to come through the bedroom even though there is a Murphy bed and a sleeper sofa. There is only one sink in the very small bathroom. I stayed at the Raffaello in December for a "Girls Weekend". It was a great location. Also, we had lunch in the Hotel's restaurant, the atmosphere was a little sedate, but the service and the food was excellent!

This hotel exceeded our expectations! Beautiful, spacious room with 2 double beds. We asked to move our room away from ice machine and were moved immediately, no hassles. Bathroom a little small so only 1 person fits at a time but that was fine for us.We spent 3 nights here and all staff were very friendly and helpful. Very kind staff, helpful..from front desk staff to cleaning staff to bartender to doorman. All extremely helpful. The manager upgraded my room to a suite without any extra fees!

The hotel staff were all wonderful and the accomodations were very good. The location is just a couple of streets from Lake Michigan, near Navy Pier and close to shopping and good restaurants.

Nice boutique hotel. Great location - one block off Michigan Ave, next to Water Tower Place. The room was nice but got hot at night. Otherwise, no complaints. I would recommend it.

We stayed here right after Christmas and the location is perfect for our needs. We were able to shop at all of our favorite places and only had to walk a couple blocks to get back. It is directly behind the Hancock Building and Water tower is right around the corner! No complaints.

Our stay at Rafaello was superb. Staff were very nice, amenities were impeccable, and the location couldn't be beat. We opted to utilize the self-park at the hotel's designated parking garage located one block away. The first attendant reprimanded us for not knowing the procedure for self-parking, even though it was not conveyed to drivers, and was […] very rude when we asked for help. Upon checkout, a second attendant took nearly 15 minutes to find the car key and repeatedly requested receipt of payment made at the hotel. This was my first time staying at this hotel. From the moment I walked in the door, checking in, the fabulous room helpfulness of hotel staff, and check out, was above and beyond any hotel. I have booked a room a this hotel for another stay this weekend. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom is just a perfect size for a hotel. The rain shower […] was awesome!!!!! Big rooms. Really awesome bathroom. "Queen" beds seemed small.

the water that comes out of the sink is ice cold and fresh and is great when hungover in the morning. also the front desk goes out of their way to help drunk people like me get pizza at 3 in the morning. the bed is also really really comfy and the shower feels like you are under a small waterfall in the rainforest. the fridge is also big and perfect […] for storing those bottles if ya know mean. lots of good tv channels as well. We really enjoyed our stay at the Raffaello. The room was so nice and very clean. The location is great if you are shopping on magnificent mile!

Perfect location...should be a jewel but isnt. Seems like they cut corners everywhere including the cheap toilet paper, horrible beds, dirty switchplates, impossible to use toiletries, and an upcharge for anything they can think of. but a tad pricy. Even though I got a great deal on the hotel price - valet parking is $50.00 a night and room service is high considering what you get for it. I paid good money for a cheese plate which consisted of fake melba toast and 4 cheeses, 2 of which were rock hard and inedible as I was told they were left over from what the restaurant served […] that day. I also opened some Swedish fish from the minibar - stale and rock hard even though they were inside the expiration date. Probably a good thing anyway - would have blown my diet anyway. As I returned late in the evening with my fiancee, we retired to a beautiful king bed hotel room. Sleeping in, luckily (as they have the most opaque of draperies), I was startled and nearly given a cardio myardic infraction, when the window severely opened and closed! My Fiancee screamed and grabbed me. I was ready to kick the intruder 5 stories aloft […] a plummet to the garbage dumpster in the alley. THEY SHOULD HAVE WARNED US WINDOW CLEANERS WOULD BE OPENING OUR WINDOWS CAUSING POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER. Having recently moved from Chicago, the Raffaello is now my home in the city. Comfortable rooms, great staff, super location but just far enough off Michigan Avenue (2 blocks) that it feels private. Definitely not a "big-box" hotel but rather a welcoming boutique.

No view. Small elevators, but convenient location and gorgeous rooms. Good to stay there again!

A wonderful, comfortable yet elegant hotel. I didn't think it was in my budget, but hotels.com made it possible. The rain shower head in the shower was wonderful, and the room was very spacious. There are several nearby parking lots where in-and-out parking is very affordable. No breakfast is included, but coffee and tea are provided in the lobby. It is at an excellent location. It is next to John Hancock building and a block away from all the busy shopping areas. Staffs are friendly. Clean room, clean sheets and I enjoyed my stay in Raffaello Hotel.

My wife and I chose this hotel for its location and price (in comparison to other hotels in the same neighborhood). We wanted a pleasant get away, and were pleasantly surprised by the Raffaello. We'd definitely return. We chose the King room, which is a small suite. Very nice!

Very impressed with the size and amenities in the rooms. The location was ideal for business or for traveling with a family. We loved our weekend in the city and the hotel was a big part of the reason.

We were upgraded on arrival to a delixe suite, which consisted of a normal small hotel room grafted on to a humungous living room. The bathroom was modern and typically badly laid out - no place to put anything down. The hotel seemed not too full, but the two small elevators were impossible. I had the pleasure of staying at the Raffaello. I did a lot of research before my trip to Chicago. Read all the reviews, checked locations in relation to sightseeing and this hotel fit the bill just perfectly. The price was in line with some of the other chain hotels, but I prefer the intimacy of a boutique hotel. The concierge, Jared, did a great job […] of guiding me, both with activities and places for dinner. The hotel was clean and quiet. Located just a block off of the Magnificent Mile and next door to the John Hancock building (save your money and instead of going to the observation deck for $15, get a drink at the lounge for the same price). The only inconvenience was the subway station. It's several blocks away, but being from NYC, I'm used to walking a lot. If you need a cab, the men at the door will hail you one. The surrounding area is safe and I felt comfortable walking back at night through the local streets. Will definitely stay at this hotel on my next trip to the windy city. Läs mer

We enjoyed our stay at Raffeallos. It was close to everything we wanted to see and the staff was top notch. We will stay there again.

I booked a room with a king size bed. Unfortunately the room was so small I could barely walk between the bed and the TV/chest. And, the bathroom was tiny and inconvenient at best. There was barely room for 1 person, and since the only mirror in the place was above the pedastal sink (no counters at all, just a glass shelf sticking out above the sink […] & toilet), only 1 person could use a mirror at a time. The "modern" style shower (half glass panel and 1/2 open with no door or curtain) sprayed water out onto the bathroom floor, where it formed a pond on the uneven floor. The carpet looked old and worn. And, the sound carried very clearly - from the next room and from the hall. I will NOT be staying at the Raffaello again. Läs mer
