Hotell Holiday Inn Express Los Angeles Airport - Los Angeles

Bra prisvärt läge för övernattning nära LA Int flygplats. Fri transport till o från terminalerna och gångavstånd till billuthyrarna. Saknar egen restaurang men schysst frukost ingår.

Väl framme i LA efter en lång och jobbig flygresa räknade vi med att shuttelservicen som utlovats skulle komma. Vi stod och väntade i 40 minuter och såg det ena bolaget efter det andra hämta sina gäster, men inte Holiday In Express. I bokningens utskrift saknades tel.nr till hotellet och jag fick hjälp av flygplatspersonal att ringa till hotellet. Där […] utlovades att bussen snart skulle komma. Vi väntade ytterliggare 20 minuter och frös ordentligt innan transporten kom. I bokningen står inget om att gästen själv måste ringa efter transport och vi kände oss grundlurade. Då vi checkade in var vi trötta och hade uppskattat att bli bemötta med lite vänlighet men även det uteblev. Det som gjorde mig mer besviken var att jag senare hörde ett telefonsamtal mellan en annan gäst och receptionspersonalen där gästens transport också uteblivit. Kunden upplystes om att transporten snart var där och receptionskvinnan skrattade sedan åt samtalet då hon pratade med sina arbetskamrater om kunden som varit upprörd i telefonen. Jag förstod då att hotellet inte bryr sig om sina gäster så som man kan förvänta sig. Förslagsvis läggs information om att kunden måste ringa upp hotellet om transport redan i bokningen. Någon service i det här fallet upplevde vi inte. Istället en chaufför som förväntade sig dricks av 4 blåfrusna hotellgäster. I övrigt tyckte jag att de allmänna utrymmena var ganska sunkiga med kala väggar och solkiga heltäckningsmattor. Jag rekommenderar därför INTE hotellet. Läs mer

Bed old and too soft. Pillows were the worst ever. Some one was smoking on our floor. When I complained they said it would be handled, but we still could smell it the next day in the hall area by our room.

Old style motel. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Shuttle to airport well organised. Much better than first impressions.

it was alltogether really nice. great breakfast and friendly staff.

Any hotel these days associated with the Holiday Inn name, should at least have a refrigerator in the room.The worlds slowest lift is installed in this hotel. There is a Seven Eleven at the back of the hotel. However the neighborhood looks ?? and my wife did not dare go there alone.

I booked the hotel because I was interested in going to the outdoor pool for some R&R but it was not cleaned and neither was the jacuzzi to my disappointment.

Breakfast is very good, hotel staff is friendly but no Bell Boys available. If you're looking for a 1 night hotel near LAX this is a good option. Price is very accesible. Elevator takes soo mnay time to reach any floor... slowest elevator ever!!

The room was a good size and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a disappointment.

The staff at this hotel went above and beyond making sure my stay was a pleasant one.

Soccer tournament lead us to this hotel. Very cozy. Housekeeping did us the HUGE favor of cleaning our sons uniform, after hours. That was a bonus!

I was not happy with the hotel at all. They stated that the hotel had been remodeled, all they remodeled was the room with furniture. The carpet in the room was terrible and everything else about the hotel was old and run down. The walls were so thin you could hear people talking, etc. It was ridiculous. It was so noisy with people coming and going […] at all hours of the night, I didn't get any sleep. I travel for work all the time and haven't come across hotel this bad in a long time. Läs mer

Lovely Motel nice and close to airport. Has a good free shuttle bus to get you to and from the airport 24 hots a day..

Nice hotel, clean room, however, the room was pretty small and no bath tub at all. Not the best neighborhood and the only convenient store is a 7 Eleven around the corner. Good breakfast in the morning. Overall, not a bad hotel at all.

Alll good except when tired from a long flight it would be good service to let one know that one will be picked up in half an hour.

Some interior elements are a bit worn, but this is a respectable place that will suit the utilitarian traveler. I selected it so that I would be able to readily drop my car and grab a shuttle to the terminals for a v. early flight. A couple rental companies are conveniently close by.

I was very satisfied with the Hotel. Cleanliness of the room and customer service. We arrived 3 hours early and they let us check in early. Continental breakfast was good and so was the attendant in the dinning room. The only thing complaint that I have is the noise of airplanes. But it's expected since its near the airport! I was blown away at how the nice and polite the staff was at this property. I checked in at 1:30pm, got a top floor room with two gift bags of bottled water and granola. I mentioned a refrigerator and they offered to bring one to the room. I declined it. Very accomodating. The room was very nice and clean. I stayed at the Fairmont Newport Beach last […] July and this room was much better! The bed wasn't as nice. It was still comfortable and we slept very well. The breakfast was yummy. Lots of options to choose from. I would suggest that they offer trays to take food back to the room. The dining room was nice and always packed. We like to eat in our room when possible. I liked this place so much, I've referred a close friend already and signed up for their loyalty program. This property is located near Inglewood. Many police cars and a helicopter with spotlight were driving/flying by friday night. We didn't feel unsafe at anytime. This was around dinner time, so we went to Santa Monica for dinner on the Pier! My rental car was from Hertz and it's located about 3 blocks down the street. This was a great weekend hotel. No charge for parking, free breakfast and not on top of the freeway = Very happy people! I had to wait one hour for the shuttle after calling twice. Then they forgot to set my wake up call. I only had 7 hour layover in LA and the hotel took away a chunk of precious sleep. Morning shuttle driver made no attempt to help with luggage boarding or dropping

The room was not up to standard that holiday inns should be. I would not stay there again.

Hotel is good for early flight schedule. No frills rooms or facilities just convenience and location. Surprisingly the 2nd elevator is still not working despite multiple comments over the past 3 months. I am wondering if management really cares about customer feedback.

I truly enjoyed my stay. I ALWASYS stay at the Embassy Suites LAX, but this time I tried the suite at the Holiday Inn Express. I was very pleased that I stayed an extra night. The only problem was only one elevator worked and parking can be crowded, however the staff, the room, comfort and location was AWESOME!!

There were only 2 elevators in the hotel and one was not working until the last day of my 4 day stay, so waiting for one elevator got to be a problem, front desk did not seem concerned when asked when it might be in operation again. Funny enough I read a review before I booked this hotel that said the same thing but I thought surely it would be repaired […] by the time I arrived. Breakfast was nice, consistant each day. Parking was a bit rough, not enough spaces had to park down the block one night late. All in all it was an ok experience but not at the top of my list. Läs mer

Room was adequate, well maintained, and the kids loved watching planes land. I loved that you couldn't hear the planes! We would stay again.

I had a nice stay here. It was close and conveniently close to the major highway. The breakfast was nothing special and everyone was very nice.

Good hotel. Don't expect much, but nice service for your money. If you need proximity to LAX, this is a nice choice.

We stayed here because we had an early AM flight and did not want to get up hours early and fight traffic. It was OK for that purpose. The one elevator that was working was so slow it took me 10 min. of wait/ride time to get to the 4th floor. Shuttle to the airport was on time and had plenty of space.

The hotel location is close to LAX Airport and car rentals. The room is quite small when compare the price with other Holiday Inn hotels in LA and quite hard to find the parking because they don't charge for parking. The elevator works so slow and the hotel operated only one elevator when I stayed. (Actually, they have 2)
