Ett bra och prisvärt hotell, hygglig frukost med franska mått mätt. Vi tyckte läget var bra, gillar man musik affärer var det en mecka.

En tunnelbanestation (St-Georges) ligger ett par hundra meter från hotellet vilket gjorde det smidigt att ta sig in till de centrala delarna av stan. Det finns även många olika typer av restauranger/caféer i närheten. Hotellet som sådant var slitet, kvalitén på olika rum verkade variera en del. Det är en gammal byggnad och väggarna är inte speciellt […] ljudisolerade t.ex. hördes hissen genom väggarna till mitt rum vilket var lite irriterande. Hotellet var rent och frächt .Personalen var vänlig och hjälpsam. Rummet ganska litet men funktionellt. Badrummet höll på att renoveras så att undertak saknades. Elledningarna hängde synliga i taket men detta åtgärdas säkert snart. Frukosten var helt okey.Läget bra nära Metron o för övrigt gångavstånd till många platser.

Hade förväntat mig mer efter att ha läst andra recentioner och sett bilder. Först och främst låg hotellet mitt på sexgatan, vilket inte stör mig men kan vara bra för barnfamiljer att veta. Hade bokat ett rökfritt rum men det lukatde rök när vi checkade in och en askkopp stod på skrivbordet. Det positiva var att personalen var supertrevlig och det var […] nära till tunnelbanan. I found the hotel conveniontaly located to all must see sightseeing , bLOCK WAY FROM MOULIN ROUGE, English speaking at the front desk of the hotel and very helpful and guiding Great location highly highly recommended for the first time visitor to paris

Recently refurbished to average standart small 3 stars hotel in the Pigalle area in Paris. All the rooms are small and located around the lift on six floors : the rooms have not been insulated and the noise resulting from the lift being operated is unbearable. As you have no sound proofed walls, you are "living" with your next room guest and the rest […] of your floor !!The reception team is not helpfull and will not even smile when you pay the bill : in fact they make it clear that you are disturbing them whenever you ask for something.......the area is convenient are you are 20 mn walk from the Grands Boulevards and Opera, however you are right in the middle of the Pigalle red quarter : so safety is what ever your own judgement lies in that field . Recently fully refurbished small hotel in the Pigalle area in Paris. Rooms have been refurbished to a good standart however some crucial issues have been overlooked. All the rooms are positionned around the only lift, who service 6 floors, and the level of noise inside the rooms is unbearable ! Walls were not insulated and you are litteraly "living" […] with your next room guest; not to mention noise from pipes work, showers, toilets, etc.....The reception team at the time was not helpfull and will not resolve any of your needs or queries : they were just rude and had no pride in their work whatsoever. And we heard the same thing from other guest at breakfast in the morning. The night team was better and definitely care with their job and your well being. Breakfast was standart, decent with no extra, but in the basement, so no windows..... Overall, between the noise, the rudeness of reception (where is the free glass of wine on arrival advertised on the net ?), the sizes of rooms (I could barely fit in the shower and I am only 5"6 !!!.....) Villa Margaux is located near Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur - a good location with lots of restaurants and cafes, but also quite a lot of Paris' sex scene. The staff was helpful and pleasant. We managed to communicate well enough with a combination of English and some broken French. We had a double room which was clean and clearly recently renovated, […] but quite small; especially the toilet room, which was almost too small to sit in. The bathroom looked lovely, but for some reason there was no shower curtain (not sure if it's a "thing" or if they just didn't complete the last details of the renovation) so it was almost impossible to take a shower without flooding the floor. Not at all what the description stated! No food service, no glass of wine upon arrival. Room was booked for 2, receptionist kept insisting reservation was for 1, yet I asked for two twins!! Tried to charge us 20 pounds for extra person! Would not recommend at all!!

The room was cramped and dirty. I wouldn't even put the unopened suitcase into the unclean closet. The shower nozzle was not attached to the fixture.

Was forced to take a room there as my usual place was fully booked, like most hotels in Paris during that time. The hotel is fairly well located, if you like the raunchy nightlife offered by Pigale or the more touristy Montmartre area. Metro station is a few minutes away, but the lines that go through it are not that convenient (no direct line to train […] stations, the airport or the other touristic areas of Paris). Judging from the decor and its level of decrepitude, the hotel had its best days in the early 80s. Positive points: the room was on the back of the hotel and fairly quiet; Free Wifi available; staff was helpful; large LCD TV; breakfast room is in an old renovated crypt; breakfast was OK, although its cost (as extra) was indecent compared to what you'd at the cafe around the corner. Minor negative points: Only a single power plug in the room; basic public TV channels (no premium channels); no ventilation in bathroom; bedsheets slightly too small for the bed, so you end-up undoing the bed as soon as you change position; tried to call reception 3 times to connect the external line and no replies. Major negative points: the room was decrepit, the walls dirty, the carpet old and unkept to the point of smelling like unwashed feet. Cost of the room was prohibitive compared to the state of the hotel. Even low-season rates displayed at the receiption are more than I would pay for such a place. The room was very narrow but long .but hard to walk about because it was under the roof and you could not stand up on the side of the room.

Conveniently located between the Pigalle and Saint Georges Metro stations. Pigalle is sort of a "red light" district, so if you're traveling with kids or just don't want to witness the seedier side of Paris, you might want to approach from the Saint Georges side. The Hotel Villa Margaux hotel desk clerks were friendly and helpful--all of them spoke […] English well and were patient with our attempts to speak French. They gave us a free bottle of wine when we checked in, which was quite nice. Our room (#32) was small, but adequately-sized. The bathroom was tiny. The shower was so small that you could hardly stand in it without leaning up against the wall or shower curtain--which were covered with mold when we checked in. When I complained at the desk, they did clean the shower and change the shower curtain, but I shouldn't have had to ask. The bedding was clean and comfortable, but the carpet and walls were stained and filthy-looking. I understand they are in the process of remodeling the entire hotel--they apparently haven't reached this room yet. Overall, it wasn't bad for the price. We got a pretty good rate on hotels.com--pretty good for a Paris hotel, that is. This is not an elegant hotel, but we found it adequate for our needs and budget. Other tidbits: Rooms on the street side are a little noisy due to traffic and night life, so it's not a great place if you're a light sleeper. Bring ear plugs. There is free wireless internet at this hotel, but the signal was pretty weak in our room. We also needed to obtain new logins and passwords every day--one for each device, which was a bit of a hassle. There was a mini fridge and a safe in our room, but neither one was functioning. The fridge never got cold and the safe had no lock on it. This wasn't a huge concern for us, so we never mentioned it at the desk. Hotel close to metro's but area not very pretty or clean. Not many restaurants/bistros to choose from in the area but those that were there were quite good. Hotel although clean and had basic's, is in need of a serious update/refurbishment. Staff friendly but unable to help with broken light in room. Convenient location and rather friendly service, however we had to change the room due problems with the toilet and a general lack of cleanliness. The hotel needs a serious update. We've very much enjoy our stay in Paris but the hotel was a minus factor.

Great little hotel with very pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfast is well worth taking. Hotel lobby is currently under renovation, and they are putting airconditioning in the rooms. Good Metro access and lots of great little cafés, etc. close by.

Good location, very close to Pigalle metro station. However - in the red light district and would not advise walking around late at night. There was bars beside the hotel, where woman would sit waiting for 'business' dressed in next to nothing which was quite uncomfortable to walk past. Bedroom and bathroom were small but for Paris and the price we […] paid we could not complain. However - in the bathroom there was no ceiling/roof, you could see into the wiring and electricals, we did not complain about this as there were no real problems, only visually. Breakfast was good if you can get it included in the price of the room. Overall - good location next to metro but watch out for bars late at night, reception/breakfast staff friendly, room small but fine - nice big flat screen tv and big windows - Good value for the price we paid! Would recommend to others. ALSO - do NOT go to the Cockney Bar which is in the area - we got ripped off big style, drinks supposed to be 10 euro but charged us 30!!! For the price the hotel is appropriate, given that a lot of hotel rooms in Paris are very small. This is no exception. The neighbourhood of St George is charming and has a lot of nice restaurants to offer. It is a 20 minute walk to the Opera and Montmatre, and a 10 minute walk away from the Moulin Rouge if you fancy it! The room had all the basic, but […] dont expect anything fancy or spacious. The WI-Fi was doubious

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I could feel the springs in the beds, the shower had no shower curtain, and the best part was that the metro ran underneath the hotel, so you could hear and feel every time a train passed by. Hotel staff was nice but seemed incompetent, the rooms were small and not very clean and the bathroom was so small it was impossible to use the shower or toilet with the door closed. Location is okay, but are much better hotels in the area.

三つ星の料金は安いものの、全体的にはやはり星２つかな？　応対は係によりまちまちであるがあまり気配りに関心がなさそうだ。朝食メニューは三つ星としては普通だ他、値段の割には充実している・・・。所在地は、メトロからそれほど遠くないものの、パリには多い坂の途中で、例により下りは良いが、登り方向には荷物があるとつらい。メトロは2号線と12号線なので、乗り慣れた方なら問題ないが初めての方は下調べが必要です。もっともバスの方が意外に便利かも。周りの環境は、スーパーやコインランドリーなども一通りそろっているし、レストランも気楽に入れる（安い）店が多いので、私は好きなほう。

Udemærket hotel til pengene. Fin morgen buffet. Dog ikke som herhjemme, Larmen fra gaden starter tidligt om morgenen. Kort gå afstand til Pigalle Metro.

les après midis, il y avais le travaux dans l'hôtel qui nous a pas laissé nous reposer. Il y avait bcp de bruit. si on était au courant de travaux, on n'aurait pas réservé une chambre dans cet hôtel. Le petit déjeuner était de moyen qualité. et on pouvait pas contacter réceptionniste de notre chambre et c'était assez étrange!

En rigtig dejlig oplevelse at bo på dette hotel. Personalet meget service minded og venlig. Hotellet lækket renoveret. Et super behageligt ophold. Ligger tæt på alt. Vi kommer gerne igen på dette hotel

Très bon emplacement, très bonnes prestations, dommage que la rue soit si bruyante... Scooter et motos résonnent dans toute la chambre...Impossible de dormir, comble pour un hôtel... Le double vitrage serait de rigueur! A ne pas refaire.

Billig og greit hotell med relativt sentral beliggenhet.

Situé à 200m de la place animée de Pigalle, il est possible de rayonner à pied à proximité de l'hôtel: Montmartre, Grands magasins sur Bd Haussman, St Lazare, sans compter les inombrables théâtres dans ce quartier. Chambre rénovée au 6ème étage très confortable et calme sauf le bruit de l'ascenseur. Petit déjeuner dans la jolie salle voutée du sous […] sol: un réel effort pour varier (viennoiserie, oeufs, jambon, fromage...) mais franchement, pour 9€ du pain frais et du vrai lait seraient la moindre des choses...Au final, très bon rapport qualité/prix avec les -40% d'Hotels.com! Vi blev overrasket over hvor nedslidt hotellet var ift. billederne på deres website. Vi valgte derfor at skifte hotel efter den første overnatning.

Отдыхали с семьей в 3-х местном номере. Номер маленький, не соответствует фотографии. Ковролин был в ужаснейшем состоянии, размазанная грязь по всему. Вид из окна на другой крышу другого дома. Интернет в отеле бесплатный, но для этого приходится каждые 24 часа брать на ресепшене пароль. В ванне нет шторки, так что душ принимать нереально. Нормально для бюджетного отеля, ночью и утром кто сильно прислушается может отметить шум метро проходящего очевидно под отелем. Интернет платный. Метро рядом - 2 линии, так что доступ ко всем основным достопримечательнастям удобный. Подъём на Манмартр пешком займёт 20-25 мин. C'est un hôtel simple mais disposant d'une bonne literie et d'un service petit déjeuner très accueillant. Ma chambre venait d'être restaurée, et je pense que beaucoup d'efforts on été faits pour améliorer le confort des chambres. Seul bémol la baie qui sépare la chambre des sanitaires ne fermant pas complétement, laisse entrevoir et entendre tout ce […] qui s'y passe! hotel simples, não totalmente limpo, cheiro forte de tinta no quarto que me levou a mim e ao meu namorado a ter de mudar de hotel na segunda noite, não conseguimos dormir com o cheiro... e depois, perdemos parte do penúltimo dia que tinhamos em paris procurando outro hotel em função deste problema com o villa margaux... as instalações estão sendo reformadas, […] paredes pintadas e banheiros renovados, mas sem equipamentos para pendurar toalha ou box para tomar banho... mas de fato, o cheiro forte de tinta, que nos impediu de dormir bem, foi o fator crucial para termos uma má imagem do local. Hyvä sijainti. Ränsistynyt hotelli, Minibaareja rikki, ei korjata edes. Viemärit lavuaari ja suihku tulvi. Ei korjattu. Henkilökunta ok. Meluisa huone, epämukavat sängyt. Ei taida olla kolmen tähden arvoinen enää, Mutta edullinen 1-tähteä keskellä kaupunkia.

Hotellet lå i et strøk med mange hyggelige spisesteder og et kjempefint baker hvor man kunne nyte en god frokost. Endel støy om morgenen pga.trafikkert gate. Nærhet til metro gjorde at det var enkelt å ta seg fram til severdighetene i Paris. Veldig små rom og litt slitent. Lekkasje på badet og strømmen var borte et par døgn på den ene veggen slik at […] tv og støpsel til f.eks.lading av telefon funket ikke. Usedvanlig hyggelig og forekommende resepsjonist fra Tunisia hjalp oss med kart og henvisninger. Samme hjelpsomhet fra kvinnelig resepsjonist som skaffet oss transport til flyplassen. Läs mer
