The hotel was nice, the location is very close to the Metro Airport. Everything was perfect except the air-condition, which kept either cooling the room till it froze or became unbearably hot !! But, everything else was perfect including the breakfast !!

We always enjoy staying there. However, this time there were only small pillows (literally 6 small ones) and no large pillows to sleep on. The breakfast bar was great minus the fact it didn't have any fruit or yogurt. I know they are getting ready for big rennovations so it should be even nicer in the future!

I was able to make my reservation over the phone at the last minute with no problems. Confort Inn picked me up at the airport around midnight with very little wait. my check in was quick and my room was clean. I suppose the only issue i had was the noisy air conditioning but when your tired and need to sleep you don't seem to hear it. This hotel is getting a face-lift and the staff does their best to accomodate your needs while the construction is going on. The heat for the room was totally inadequate in the 6 degree (F) Detroit winter. When I entered my room it was freezing as they had the heat totally off. After running the heat for hours (combo heat and air conditioning unit on wall), the temp was never higher than 60 degrees in my room. The hotel desk staff was wonderful. They let us use the desk computer to do an early check-in because the public computer was down and even offered to do it for us. They also picked us up from returning the car rental by calling them at the front desk, making it convenient. My wife and two children were stranded in Detroit for three days and nights because our connecting flights kept getting cancelled due to weather. Our first two nights we stayed elsewhere, but on our third night we stayed at the Comfort Inn Metro Airport. The room lacked adequate heating, the free-internet did not work, the sheets on the beds were dingy […] and uncomfortable, the bar lost it beer/wine license, and the continental breakfast lacked some basic offerings often provided elsewhere (ex: juice, yogurt). My parents stayed at a C.I. in Toledo, OH and loved it. I too have stayed at several C.I.s, but this one was the most rundown I have ever seen. Very dated and stains everywhere. The Internet did not work so if you are there on business and wish to communicate with business, family or friends... forget it. Avoid and stay elsewhere.

When I went to book the room, I had two choices for one price. One room had a big bed and a huge tub, but it did not cover breakfast or parking. I have stayed at this location once before last year. Last March I did not pay for parking as advertised. This year, I had to pay an extra $18.00. Part of the appeal of staying hear one night and parking for […] 4 days for just over what I would pay to park and not stay almost makes me hesitate to stay here again. It was my understanding that parking was free and I even called to confirm it with the hotel after making my reservation. We stayed in the Jacuzzi room for Valentines & was a very pleasant time. The jacuzzi was big enough for my husband & I without being cramped. The room wasn't anything fancy, but sufficent with a king bed, desk, chair, couch, & refrig. The breakfast had a good assortment & the waffles weren't soggy. Really early in the morning the staff was yelling and laughing across the hall. Talk about a wake up call! The only problem about that was that I got back from the airport at 2 am so I did mot want to wake up that early. Also the hotel was smelly.

I enjoyed my stay here. Rooms were very clean and had the right mix of controllable air (heat/ac). The bathrooms look to have been upgraded recently. The furniture is quite old, but did not affect me in any way. Super packed on the night I stayed, but they met all my needs, clean, quiet room with no fuss and no mess. Comfortable bed, dark room when lights are out, silent from the outside and inside (and that's with an airport nearby!), easy check-in, easy check out. Everything was fine. The breakfast was very good. There is a I-94 interchange (I believe 197) just west of the hotel that provides easy access that is much less busy than the main I-94 interchange for the airport. The staff were pleasant. The room had HBO.

I checked in, was given 2 key cards. Neither worked so I returned to the desk for new keys. no one was there--needed to wait 10 minutes. She never apologized for the inconvenience. Hotel has a parking company in the lobby while traveling by air. Stupid people, horrible service
