Ett hotell i jättefint område - men man bör ha bil. Bra planerade rum, rent och snyggt och en underbar tropisk trädgård med papegojor och Koi-fiskar i en damm. Vi stormtrivdes! Det enda negativa för vår del var att vi hamnade i ett rum väldigt nära konsert-området och som småbarnsfamilj var inte det riktigt optimalt att ha hög musik utanför fönstret […] till sent på kvällen, men i övrigt var allt suveränt. Fantastiskt trevligt poolområde som både barn och vuxna trivdes vid. Fint rum och badrum med dubbla handfat. Men kranarna i badrummet satt tyvärr löst, kändes lite taffligt. Vi var två vuxna och tre barn (8, 13 och 15) och hade behövt en extra säng. Sängen levererades snabbt men var för dålig för att sova i. Jättebra happy hour i backstage restaurangen […] för mat m.m. Bra hotell. Lyxigt med allt kring rum, pool och bubbelpool. Lite dåligt med hotellets tjänster som att växla pengar, köpa läsk eller lättare måltider. Hotell personalen visade inget intresse att guida eller ge föslag på kringliggande aktiviteter. Omgivningen var fantastiskt. Här var det också lite dåligt av hotels.com att inte ange att man fick betala […] extra för parkering (som var dyrt). Bra läge om man har bil. Finare restauranger kring området. Barnvänligt område. Nice location by the sea, free wifi, roomy heated pool area, modern and clean room standard, clean, nice staff, table tennis table, right next door is a indoor Humphreys bar with happy hour in the evening with cheap drinks and live band playing. Bad points are that parking cost $10, and the outdoor concert venue 50 meters away WILL keep you awake until […] 1:30 AM, at least on the weekends. So do not stay here if you want peace and quiet. Fantastiskt hotell för en barnfamilj med en känsla av lyx. Underbart mysig miljö. Bekvämligheter såsom tvättstuga, kylskåp på rummet samt kaffebryggare. Superb bra Roomservice som var prisvärd. Frukost ingick dock inte. Ett hotell man vill återvända till!

Trevlgt poolområde med botanisk trädgård. Lugnt område med fina promenadvägar längs vattnet med San Diegos down town som siluett.

I was really disappointed the room presented nice but smelt like a dog had urinated around bathroom, the refrigerator was unplugged and when it was on it hummed all night making noises, the air conditioner rattled to all night, no one is out by the pool maintain grounds as far as making sure clean towels are out for guests or clean up after guests. […] Sad the place has all the potential in the world but simply things of regular inspections of the resort won't have me coming back Läs mer

I have stayed many places in San Diego and this is the place I will stay at from now on. Awesome location, awesome restaurant and awesome employees. The free bike rental was a good surprise and the location is perfect for going out. I highly recommend it and already have to many friends.

We had an amazing stay here, the only bad thing was, is that it was way too short! We rented bikes and rode around the whole area of the hotel, and it was great! We plan to stay here again, it was a great find. Parking was 10 dollars a night which was an unexpected charge, but compared to some of the other hotels it was cheap. The pool was great as […] well, and just the overall environment was relaxing. The room was perfect size for the two of us, and it was very clean. The hotel was old and funky in a good way. We were there in the middle of the week and asked for an upgrade that they happily provided! I'm a germ freak and quite honestly don't know if I would give any hotel a 5 in that area. I bring my own clorox and wipe everything down. Our room looked like it had been recently re-done with granite counters and […] marble floors in the bathroom and kitchen area. The carpet wasn't my favorite but it looked clean. The grounds are beautiful! We ordered room service for breakfast and it was really good, and right on time! The gym is minimal, not much to it. Our room overlooked the harbor and we were really close to the pool and hot tub. Room was quiet close to several places to eat. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only took about ten to fifteen minutes to get to anywhere we wanted to go, the zoo, natural history museum/balboa park and mission beach. Downtown and little italy were very close too, it was conveniently close to everything without being directly in a super busy area. Clean room, very nice. Great hotel, had a nice little fish pond. I happened to stay here two separate times in one week. The service is friendly and rooms are clean..my only complaint is the light coming thru the front door, ironically in both rooms I stayed in. The pool/spa is awesome and extremely well maintained. For a relaxing time, there are many secluded areas to walk or lounge around. The restaurant and bar […] were a lot of fun, good music. The hotel service was bad. I ask a waitress not to run my card and i would pay cash and i looked at my back statement when i got home and my card had been run. they were rude and not very friendly staff.

Great place to stay. The hotel is older; however, we had new carpeting in our room, the bed was heavenly and we had enough fluffy pillows for six people! Staff is very friendly and accommodating. It is located close to an excellent restaurant on Shelter Island and is a great place to take a walk along the ocean. Would definitely stay here again.

While the hotel is showing its age (a little bit), the rooms had new carpeting, the bed was heavenly, and we had enough soft, comfy pillows for a family of 8! The location is perfect with the excellent Bali Hai Restaurant and a beautiful park with walk trails along the ocean. Definitely a thumbs up!

The room was large and comfortable. The lighting was great with motion detection so you did not have to look for switches once you had the switches set. Great for the late night trips to the bathroom

It was perfect. Nice weather. Lovely accommodations. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Would stay again. We did not eat meals there, but we did have happy hour. Drinks were great and so was the selection of appetizers .all in all we had a great time.

Feels like you're in Hawaii...waterfalls, ponds with koi fish & parrots in the trees. Super quiet, too. Waaaayyyy better than I had expected based on the price point. I will definitely stay here again.

It was awesome. We couldn't afford Hawaii but this was close. The surroundings were beautiful, the room was elegant. We loved the little patio, the wooden shutters, the ceramic mugs for coffee(and coffee that actually was decent).

Cons: 1.)Thin walls, I felt like saying good night to the loud family next door through the 1-way door. They tried to open it several times. 2.)New guy at front desk sent us on a hunt after I had requested an upstairs room. 3 tries sent us to smelly bottom floor rooms. Finally, another person came and helped us at the desk and gave us an upstairs room, […] not on the side of the construction and not being renovated. 3.) The sink sounded like a plane. 4.) Parking- They had some guys blocking off the spaces when we arrived. The guy was so rude and told us to find parking elsewhere because they were painting new lines. When we returned from our day, the parking lot by our room was almost completely blocked off and no painting was done. Everyone had to cram in at the other lot on the other side of the hotel with their luggage. This was the routine every night. Painting was never finished till 2 days later. They still wanted us to pay parking. 5.) The staff didn't offer help to guests who had to walk from one side of the resort to the other. Pros: The bed was sooo comfortable, room was very clean. For the most part, only mornings and around 10pm were noisy, the rest of the time was quiet and comfortable. Overall, I would return after upgrades and construction. This place could have been a lot better for this price range. This is a beautiful resort with nice views like the parrots by the stage. Also it is a great location. Läs mer

THe room was nice and comfortable. I loved that there was a refirdgerator and microwave in the room as well as a small coffee maker. Our room overlooked the greens and the view from any part of the property was great. I loved watching the boats in the Marina and I was excited to see parrots perched by the pool. The area was nice. We walked down to a […] little deli in the marina that looks kinda small and run down but makes some of the best sandwiches ever. The staff was nice and very helpful. Room paint was peeling and bed was not comfortable. It did feel like we were in Hawaii. The band at the restaurant during happy hour was good as well as the half price dinner.Hotel is unusual in that it is also a major concert venue to big names. Our room was right behind the stage.
