"Outstanding Deal"
Having never used Hotels.com before to find a room, I was reluctant to trust the other reviews. Having said that, I picked this hotel based on the reviews all being so good. Would not stay here again. Hotel was attached to a large casino, along with a few other hotels, making it one large casino/hotel block, sharing large parking areas. Not mentioned anywhere in information. Needed a snack/dinner for my young kids and although restaurants were mentioned, only option was an expensive buffet, an expensive steak house or a […] mediocre sports bar all located in the casino area. Rooms were down worth the price, would definitely stay elsewhere for the same price next time. Only pleasant surprise was the complimentary breakfast with hot waffels, coffee, fruit and cereal. I booked the hotel with the impression that it was new, which was mentioned in a prior review. It definitely was not. Perhaps Holiday Inn purchased an old property and it was listed a new, but the condition of everything was old. Also, based on room selection, I wrongly assumed that each room was non-smoking, which was not the case. I did receive a non-smoking room, but the whole hotel wreaked of smoke, so it was difficult to call the room a non-smoking one. Will not be back. Läs mer

This was a great place to stay--a large hotel with large hotel amenities, but a motel price. Nice, clean and comfy room. Very generous free breakfast in the morning, free parking and wifi. The hotel is attached to the Ameristar Casino, if gambling is of interest. We only stayed here for one night, while on the road, but definitely liked it. "Nice option"
This was a nice hotel. Right next to the river, and right next to the casino. I'm not a casino person, but this would be a great place to stay to go to the casino. Updated property, the room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was quite good. My only complaint was a really dirty elevator that wasn't cleaned while I was there, and none of the vending machines […] worked and I was seeking a snack. Great little pool, and again a nice walk over to the casino. NOTHING in the neighborhood, as it is kind of an industrial area. But Omaha is small enough you are never far from anything. My son and I stayed on our trip to the CWS. Rooms were very clean, staff was very friendly and courteous. The hotel also provided a shuttle to and from the CWS which was very nice. Close to just about everything.
"Very Nice Hotel"
The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. The breakfast selection could be improved upon, but overall this is a very nice hotel and we would definitely stay there again!

Motel staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was nice and clean and we got just what we had requested. Pool, hot tub, work out room, 3 restautants, casino if you are interested, river view was nice, gift shop. Not far from the zoo and the pedestrian bridge and shopping. Parking lot was full. Thank goodness for the GPS. It's close to the interstate […] but would be hard to find without GPS. We had a very nice stay. "Nothing fancy- just a nice family hotel stay"
Very convenient for our weekend trip to the Zoo. Less than 5 minutes from Zoo parking lot to hotel and easy to get to. A few downsides. Pool was very cold which didn't bother our 3 year old much but mom and dad struggled! We requested a "standard room" expecting 2 queens and got a king. Hotel staff were helpful and when a room with 2 queens was not […] available they brought us a roll away bed for our son. Location next to casino is nice- multiple resturaunt options without having to get back in the car and Dad and grandma even enjoyed a little adult time in the casino. Free hot breakfast is always a bonus. Overall, nothing fancy but they cover the basics well, just what our family needs. If they would heat the pool we wouldn't think twice about returning :) Läs mer
it was next to everything and it was nice to have a shuttle to take us everywhere we wanted to go that way we didnt have to worry about driving.
The hotel stay was great - the only thing I didn't like was that there was NO fan in the bathroom-otherwise cleanliness, location, staff were great! The only thing I don't like is the prepay before staying and the cancellation policy

"Very Nice Hotel"
I like this hotel it was luxury and clean, i recommond it for the people but actually they have poor breakfast i hope they mae it better
A nice location next to the river and 15 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes from downtown Omaha The property is in good condition and provides the necessary amenities ( e.g. wireless Internet, basic business center,shuttle service). "Would stay there again."
Check-in was fast and easy. The rooms were very nice and clean. The complimentary breakfast had a good selection of items. The only problem was the heating/cooling unit. It was very loud and kept waking us up all night. Overall, I was happy with our stay and would stay there again.
"Details make the difference"
Several issues made my stay less than ideal. Wireless access did not work in my room, the TV didn't work properly and my calls about the broken hair dryer and no coffee were not responded to in a timely way.

"Nice hotel for a night."
This hotel was just as expected - convenient location and nice and clean. It was also nice to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The remote control for the TV worked very slow, but that's our only complaint.
"Mostly good experience"
We had a good time here. Mostly positive experience. The one drawback was that our room seemed to be very warm. Understand we stayed here in January and it was snowing outside. We went from having the heater on when we arrived, to turning on the fan, and finally turning on the air conditioner for the rest of the night and it was still a little to warm […] for us. Hotel was clean, had a nice breakfast, the pool and workout facilities were above average. One bonus I didn't know about was the covered walkway to the Ameristar Casino that is next door. "Holiday Inn - Great for Casino-goers"
The hotel was in a nice location and attached to the casino. The pool/spa area is shared between the Ameristar Hotel and the Holiday Inn Hotel so was quite nice. The room was spacious and had a lovely view over the river. Also good food options being so close to the casino.

The hotel room was great. The hotel staff was great. Price of room was a little mroe than it should be. It was nice, but not that nice.

It is a very short ride to the Omaha Zoo. The hotel is attached to the Casino but it is a family friendly hotel.
"convenient, easy to get to location"
We got tickets to see a show at Harrah's and when we went to book a room there , the price had skyrocketed. So, wanting a hotel nearby, we went with the Holiday Inn attatched to the Ameristar. It is only one short exit north of the hotel and a breeze to find. The service was fine, nothing extraordinary, but the folks were all friendly. Our room was […] very clean - fridge and microwave looked brand new and hardly used. Besides the air conditioner unit rattling quite noisily, we were comfortable and the hotel was pretty quiet at all hours. We did forget our hanging clothes in the closet in our room; after alerting the Holiday Inn of this on Sunday, a very nice employee sent our clothes (which happened to be some of our favorites) UPS the very next day. She even called me to confirm that they had been sent! I'd go back should I be in that area again...and I'd recommend it to others as well. Läs mer

So nothing major expected. Only thing I had a problem with was the MOLD that was on the walls between the window and air/heat unit.

We originally planned to stay at the Ameristar Casino and Hotel but they were booked. I will no longer wish to stay at the Ameristar after staying at the Holiday Inn. I get to the hotel and they bumped my standard room up to a Kind Whirpool Suite. I was amazed. We didnt get a chance to use it because we had plans but the room was decked out with a fridge, […] microwave, 2 televisions, etc. This is a hidden Gem!! Läs mer

Good location right of the interstate - connected to the casino, both positives. Rooms were new, clean, and affordable. I'd stay again for sure.
