Hotellpersonalen var väldigt hjälpsam och hotellet kändes som en oas i det annars väldigt skräniga och otrygga Rio.

The Hotel was very disappointing. They include breakfast, however they do not have a restaurant where you can go and sit down at other times a day. They do not have hair dryers (sorry, they have 3 for the whole hotel, they lend it to you, and call you 1/2 hr. later asking for it to lend it to another guest); they don't have irons, and they can not lend […] you one; you have to give them your clothes for them to iron it (at a charge of course). They charge you for internet (by the minute). On a different note, I took a package to give to a friend's daughter who is studing portugueese for a few months in Brazil, and they did not let her go up to my room (they said that was hotel rules), I had to go downstaris to give her the package. Overall this is a good hotel in a good location (just across from the Sequeira Campos Metro station). While I would rate my over all stay as very good, there were a few points that I would want to see improved. 1) the beds are not the most comfortable and could be updated. 2) every single "extra" is charged which seems a bit outrageous including getting […] an iron and ironing board. 3) The Breakfast staff is awesome and very friendly although the selections could be expanded. I was not impressed with my stay at this hotel. The front deskman really made my stay a hassle. Check in took about 20 minutes, simple requests (like did I receive any mail?) were instantly denied. (I found out the next day I had indeed received important mail and they had signed for it.) The front desk also routinely tried to scam me, "I have a great […] deal on a ticket, only for you". I later found out, it was 300 Reals overpriced. Would you like to use the safe in your room? 15 Reals extra per night. How about the high speed internet in your room? It will cost you extra. Besides the workers at the front desk, the hotel was decent with a few highlights. The room was comfortable but nothing special. The continental breakfast was excellent and I went back for seconds multiple times. The cleaning staff was helpful and kind. I would not recommend this hotel to others which is a shame because it could have been a place I would visit again if it wasn't for the people at the front desk. I picked this hotel because the room rate was in the range that I wanted to pay and it was only four or five blocks back from Copacabana beach. Plus the reviews didn't sound too bad. When I got there I discovered that Rue Tonelero and all the other streets around are basically a racetrack. Poor civic planning funnels a million cars a day through those […] streets and they are choking with Bangkok grade pollution. So straight up if I could do it over I'd pay more and get a hotel on the beach where there is fresh air. Also it can be a bit dodgy walking back through the streets to the hotel at 2.30am. The hotel lobby looked nice. I checked in and was quite surprised when they informed me that there was a daily charge to use the in-room safe! (I'm not kidding). I took the elevator to my room. Elevator kinda slaps around as it gets going which is novel. The hotel doesn't have central air so the corridors are hot. For the price the room was pretty basic in fit & finish. Everything worked and it was clean but the box air conditioner in the window was loud so I had to turn it off at night. Good size lcd tv and a minibar fridge. Bathroom was good. The desk overcharged me for a tour. I only found out because the other people on the tour told me how much they paid. DO NOT have dinner in the hotel dining room - basket of stale bread + bowl of boiled onion rings (onion soup apparently) + cold greasy pork mince on spag. Couldn't eat it. On the positive side the hotel has a nice rooftop pool with a good view. Also the breakfast buffet is very good. Top marks to whoever organizes this meal. The free internet worked. I tried the paid (in theory faster) internet for one day but it didn't seem much faster so I didn't bother after that. The concierge speaks English but none of the other staff do. I booked this hotel last minute from an internet cafe when my original reservation fell through. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Overall I enjoyed my stay tat this hotel. There was an excellent front counter staff and the breakfast was nice. The beds could be a bit more comfortable but all in all considering the location and the price, this is an excellent value. I plan to return to this hotel.

This is not on the beach, but fairly close. We wanted to be in more of a neighborhood. This fit well. Very friendlty and pleasant staff. Friendly and safe feeling neighborhooed. It would be my choice again, after I know what to expect.

Hotel is in a great location, modern, clear and with a good selection for breakfast. However, hotel staff are rude and have no idea of customer service and the hotel charge for absolutely everything including ice and hot water!!!

The hotel is about 5 blocks from the beach and it felt fairly safe to walk to and from the hotel even at night. The hotel is in a very convenient location for shopping, catching public transit and eating out. The subway metro station is right across the street so it is easy to get to Ipanema and other areas. The major bus transits all pick up one block […] from the hotel so it was very easy to get around for sight seeing. The bus only costs approx. $1.10 and you can get to places like Sugar Loaf and the Statue of Christ without paying a private driver. The free breakfast is good but the same each day. This hotel is not at the beach; so do not expect to walk out with a towel and be at the Copa right away. But its location is great for business travelers, because it is right across the street from the Siqueira Campos metro station. Breakfast is very nice and included. Free 200 kbaud wireless internet is included, and 3Mbaud service is available for […] a relatively small fee. A safe with number combination is in every room, and it is big enough for small laptop computers. Flatscreen TVs in every room, with some English language channels, too. Showers are great, with plenty of hot water even on the upper floors. Lots of granite in the bathrooms. The suites have jacuzzis in the bathroom; they also have a small living room. All rooms come with small fridges and air conditioning. There is a small pool and sun deck on the roof (15th floor), and they will deliver drink up there. Receptionists at front desk speak fluent English and are very friendly. Just a very nice small, quiet (!), business hotel. The Premier Copacabana lived up to the other reviews. It was a decent price compared to the other hotels, and short walking distance to the beach. The breakfast was pretty good and there was a lot of selection. I personally did not like the coffee at all, so I asked the servers to make me tea and they did every morning. The room was spacious and clean, […] but the beds and pillows were not very comfortable, though it didn't ruin my stay. Since our room faced the street, there was often a lot of noise, even when the window was closed. The flat screen tv was a really nice addition. Though it is listed as only about 4 blocks from the beach, the walk is long and the streets are crowded so it takes several minutes to get there. The front desk team were extremely helpful and spoke English well. They made arrangements for us per our requests, called us cabs, and explained walking directions and what areas to avoid. However, when we asked for restaurant recommendations, we were often given very touristy recommendations including one of the kilo places that was twice the price of the others in the same area. I would say that people should talk to locals and ask where the good bars and restaurants are. We got much better tips from local patrons at restaurants and 20-30 year old waiters on where to hang out. We had absolutely no issues with security during the one week we stayed there. We went to the beach at night (well, Av Atlantica) where the vendors set up booths and sold their products and never had any issues. Nothing exceptional. Service is spotty and breakfast is bad, but rooms are ok and clean.

The hotel is not very large, but it has everything the business traveler needs: free wireless internet in the room, a convenient lacation right next to the Siquiera Campos metro station, and a programmable safe in the room. The rooftop (17th floor) pool is small, but well-maintained. The breakfast buffet is included and quite nice.

It was a very nice hotel. Clean and modern. Will stay again.

The hotel is a good location, 5 minute walk to Copacabana beach but that its only plus point. The front desk staff is not the friendliest. The room I got had two twin beds in it and it didn't have the cleanest look. Overall, not bad for the money though I would not stay there again.

Staying at the oceanfront in Copacabana can be quite expensive and one can as well stay a few blocks further up. As a matter of fact this hotel is right on the metro stop which is particularly good for people concerned about safety. The staff is helpful although most willing to help you spend money with their tours. There is a decent complimentary breakfast […] buffet. The complimentary wireless internet connection was weak at most places but they eventually gave me a room where it worked fine (not too high speeds though). Most wall socekts accept NEMA 1-15 (US two flat pin) and type C ("Europlug" two narrow round pins) plugs but there is also a NEMA 5-15 one (US american with earthing prong). A group of coworkers planned a trip to Rio and the boys booked another hotel, the Lancaster Orlon, and the girls selected the Premiere Copacabana. The Copacabana was a nice hotel, the staff was fantastic, incredibly helpful. But the boys' hotel was a much better location right on the beach for about the same price. Hotel is four blocks from beach across street from Metro station. Generally clean and spacious rooms, good service and very nice complementary breakfast. Pool was being serviced, but it was "winter" in Rio, so not a major downer. All in all a good value.

Tres bien situé (plage, metro, commerces) mais BEAUCOUP trop bruyant car donnant sur rue tres passante de jour comme de nuit. Literie de tres mauvaise qualité.

Mala recepción, poca preocupación por los huespedes, cada uno está haciendo lo suyo y se olvidan de atender. Fui con mi mujer y nos dieron habitación con 2 camas (con pelo en la almohada y un jabon usado en el baño), luego nos cambiaron a una con una cama matrimonial, pero la cama tan dura que era casi como dormir en el suelo. Luego nos cambiaron nuevamente […] a una habitación que tenía la ducha mala y luego se rompió el tubo del agua del lavamanos. Finalmente nos cambiaron a otra. sencillo, pero muy bueno y una atención muy cálida

Omtrent det første jeg ble spurt om om jeg ville ha safe. Ellers ikke noe som minnet om service. Aircondition støy var høyere enn trafikken utenfor. Anbefales ikke videre. Det var fullt på mitt faste hotel, men skal ikke tilbake hit.

Eu adorei o hotel Premier Copacabana,fui muito bem recebida pelos os dois Senhores da recepção só tenho uma reclamação é sobre os garson que servem o cafe da manha,são muito mal humorado para eles eu dou nota 0 mais de resto é otimo, eu recomendo.

Localizaçao muito boa, a policia em frente nos dá mais segurança, o quarto bem confortavel, sem carpete, com chuveiro muito bom.

o hotel é muito bom ,só que na hora do café o hotel não estava preparado para receber os hóspedes,pois fui tomar café às 9:30h e muitos comidas já tinham acabado e o garçom nos disse que não tinha mais para repor.um erro do hotel inaceitável .a cozinha não fica a par da quantidade de hóspedes???????

O Hotel está localizado a 5 ou 6 quadras da praia de Copacabana. Não tem vista para o mar, o ambiente ao redor do hotel é um pouco precário mas por estar posicionado em frente a um posto policial inspira mais de segurança. As instalações são confortáveis e o ambiente é limpo e arejado, não cheira mal. Os funcionários são apenas cordiais, não fazem nada […] mais além do obrigatório, as vezes parecem arrogantes, parecem mal humorados. Enfim o hotel vale o que se paga, se tem $ é melhor escolher um hotel a beira mar e com vista para o mar, óbvio.... mas lógico é muito mais caro. Guardado as devidas proporções eu recomendo o hotel para quem quer usufrir as belezas do Rio sem gastar muito com Hotel, pois afinal o Rio é para ser apreciado e não para ficar dentro do Hotel. Embora esteja a quatro quarteirões da praia a localização do Hotel é conveniente, pois é próxima a uma estação do metro e há outras opções de transporte. Além disso, a proximidade com o batalhão de polícia proporciona uma sensação de relativa segurança. Contudo o preço é elevado em relação à localização, para a qualidade do café da manhã e do atendimento […] na recepção e restaurante, pois alguns funcionários não são simpáticos e às vezes bem ríspidos. Necesitaba un hotel económico por una sola noche, cerca de Copacabana, sin necesidad de estar cerca del mar. El Premier Copacabana cubrió las necesidades. Lo elegí por ser el más barato en hotels.com en la zona. Las habitaciones eran simples pero correctas, lo mismo que el desayuno. L'hôtel est sympa, personnel accueillant et parlant un peu français. Il est à 500m de la plage mais juste en face d'une bouche de métro. Par contre en travaux en ce moment dans le restaurant et au bar de la piscine. Dans l'ensemble le prix est assez élevé.

Hotel agradável e boa localização. Calmo e atendimento excelente. Comida boa! Gostei e o utilizaria novamente!

O atendimento não foi o esperado. Ninguém esperando para a retirada de bagagem do do carro. Os pedidos que foram feitos não foram atendidos como o desejado como por exemplo, berço no quarto e cama de casal. Faltou luz e na volta da energia o ar condicionado não funcionava e a TV não voltou a funcionar até a hora da minha saída. Diária cara para tantos […] transtornos. Läs mer
