Enda anledningen till att man väljer at bo på detta stället är att man antingen skall till Key West eller till Everglades och till detta fungerar det utmärkt. Personalen var trevlig och hjälpsam. Bodde på detta ställe vid två skilda tillfaällen och ena gången var sängkläderna troligtvis inte bytta då de var lortiga andra gången var det helt i sin ordning […] så antaligen/förhoppningsvis var det en ren miss med de lortiga sängkläderna. Även rummens skick skilde sig åt då det ena var relativt slitet och det andra var i ok skick. Men för en övernattning på väg till nästa ställe duger det om man inte har allt för stora krav. Läs mer

Liksom många andra kommentatorer berättat så ligger motellet perfekt för besök i Everglades liksom vidare färd till/från Florida Keys. Personalen är effektiv och tillmötesgående. Rummen något slitna men rena. Omedelbara omgivningen är trist men det finns gott om restauranger och shoppning några minuter bort.

Ett välskött hotell/motell med bra service och perfekt läge för utflykter till Everglades. Ligger precis invid U.S. 1 så det är inget hotell som jag skulle bo på en längre tid, men som övernattningshotell fungerar det alldeles utmärkt. Det finns en fin liten uppvärmd pool som är mycket välkommen efter varma äventyr i Everglades. Tre nätter mycket billigt. Nära till Everglades (15 min), Key Largo (20min) och Miami (60min). Den indiske managern var väldigt engagerad och ordnade rökfritt rum till oss fast det var överbokat. Ville verkligen att vi skulle bli nöjda. Verkligen det mest prisvärda och trevligaste hotellet på vår 2-veckors resa även om det inte låg vid havet.

Ett bra val om ni vill ha en bas för utflykter till Key West och Everglades. Ett övernattnings hotell. Mycket trevlig personal och en ok frukost (hamburgare, bröd, ost flingor, mjölk m.m)

Vi reste två vuxna med vår 9 månader gamla baby och Travelodge i Florida City var en överraskning! Lugnt läge, mycket trevlig personal, bra frukost (ingår i priset!), varm pool, fint rum. Som på många ställen i USA måste man ta bilen till restauranger och butiker (om man inte vill äta på Denny's alldeles intill) men allt ligger väldigt nära! Bra övernattningsplats om man varit i Key West i Florida men inte vill lägga pengar på dyra hotell i Key West. Bra frukost, bra bemötande av personal och väldigt serviceinriktade. Rabatt kan även erhållas på restauranger i närheten om man visar att man bor på Travellodge. Gratis internet och datorer som man kan använda var ett stort plus.

Ett bra motell med närhet till Everglades och dess atraktioner. Rent, snyggt och funktionellt. Mindre bra standard på fruckostbuffen.

Hotellet bra, men ligger helt off. Nära till Everglades var anledningen till att vi bokade där, men det uppvägde inte det tråkiga läget.

Ett trevligt hotell i motellklass. Möjlighet att sitta ute, bilen framme vid dörren och rent. Inte toppenläge i den lilla förorten Florida City men nära till Homested, ut på Key-öarna eller till Miami och Everglades. Lite trångt vid frukosten och ganska trist continental frukost

Very friendly staff, they gave us a map with everything important: Restaurants, shops, directions to Everglades and so on. Clean rooms, microwave in the room where we could do the popcorn that we got from the staff! Good breakfast buffet. Heated pool. We stayed here on our way out of the keys. It was conveniently located, reasonably priced, clean and well maintained. They had a half page handout/map that showed many local attractions, shopping and resturants that was very helpful for finding your way around.

We selected this hotel because of the other reviews on line. Not knowing with the area, we were concerned. We found the hotel to be very clean, not just the room, but also the grounds. Quite comfortable and just what we needed for a short stop on our way to the keys. Just wished we could have stayed on our way back, but you had no vacancy, we should […] have planned better. This Travelodge is "Old Florida" at its best. For an economy hotel, it was every bit as nice as a typical higher star hotel. Chiki huts to sit around, spotless rooms with clean laminate wood flooring, good air conditioning, very friendly staff. This is completely reminiscent of the day when there were multiple mom and pop hotel chains all over south […] florida and Keys before the big chains took over. Nice place for the money

We stayed here after we had been in the keys, before a flight from Miami the next morning. It's a good location if you are flying out or in, rooms are great, pool was nice and staff were friendly.

The hotel had excellent service staff. Our room was cleaned thoroughly and it was very comfortable. We will stay there again.

Only a one day stay on our way to Key West, and it was a winner top notch! Nice people, clean comfortable rooms, nice pool at a good price. Highly recommend this place!

If you are visiting the Everglades in Florida this is an ideal hotel in terms of distance, price and overall friendliness.

This hotel was clean, comfortable and well located for our trip to the Everglades. We we only 0.5 miles from our Everglades tour company location. Numerous restaurants are within minutes of the hotel.

The motel has a 60s or 70s look from the outside, but once inside one moves into the present. The place is very clean and well maintained and all the basic needs are there.

Close to restaurants and fast food, very convenient.

I stayed in Orlando and Tampa hotels before this one and I have to tell that this was the best of it. I really recommend it to everybody.

Room was clean and bedding was very good. Facility is older and a bit frayed, but seems to be maintained well and is good value compared to others in the area. Lots of eats and shopping nearby and a convenient jumping off point to visit Everglades and Keys.

Good clean place to stay just a night or two. Place was clean and all needs were taken care of. Breakfast is a bit of a frenzy, lot of oversea visitors staying.

this hotel has been tenderly maintained and mildly upgraded to offer outstanding quality basic amenities and services. This hotel is conveniently located at the entrance to the Florida Keys. No frills hotel...if you want a good night sleep before driving to the Keys, this hotel is for you. It is also close to all the strip malls. Reasonably clean, on occasion I saw a few small insects in the room.

we were looking for a decent inexpensive place to stay prior to driving to the keys and this was an exact fit. front desk personnel were extremely helpful in suggesting eating, driving, walking safety and also offered suggestions where we could get discounts on dining. hotel was very clean, breakfast was exceptional for a free one, many choices. we […] will be staying here again the next trip to the keys. Staff very helpful on the phone giving directions. We had a dog and that worked out well. Liked the wooden floors and the outdoor tables for eating breakfast.

Exceptional cleanliness in our view, good staff service and a great location for visting the Everglades and Florida Keys.

This hotell was more motell style in our opinion. It was nice enough and the breakfeast included was good. The kids enjoyed the pool and the laundry facilities were also fine. Some nice restaurants around and helpful staff.

Check-in was really, really attentive. The manager explained the hotel, the area, and nearby restaurants (many of which offering discounts if you show them your room key) without even having to ask. And we also received a little snack (microwave pop corn). Our 1 queen room was basic and a little bit worn, but well looked after and clean. They have […] free wifi and 2 computers to use. Printing of boarding passes is free, but if you ask they let you print other documents for free too. The breakfast was good, it was busy at times, but there was someone replenishing continously.
