Ett mindre hotell några km från flygplatsen. Insidan överraskade stort. Det rum vi fick var stort, med två dubbelsängar, soffhörna, arbetsbord och separat dusch och toalett. Mycket fräsch och modern inredning. Vi kom fram sent och såg oss inte omkring i området. Vi hann inte heller äta frukost, pga tidig avgång, men blev tillsagda av en mycket trevlig nattportier att ta med oss kaffe och macka att äta på vägen.

We booked this hotel based on price and location. Since we were on vacation/sightseeing around Houston, staying in our room was not a priority. The room was adequate for our stay and the location couldn't be better! Close to the freeway but still very quiet, you had city/culture life just minutes away. The room was nice with a comfortable bed and there were several exits from the hotel to the parking area. The parking lot felt safe and we never had any trouble. The only true downside was that the heating was broken, in the whole hotel, we were told. It got pretty cold in the evenings and after a weeks stay, they exchanged the whole machine. Overall - the staff was very, very accommodating to our needs.
i travel all the time and this place by far beat any place i have stayed in service and quality!! forget these boutique design hotels that look real good but always are missing or charging for something. This place is not hip but it is for sure top of the line in everything. the gym/spa is the best i have seen. the grounds are beautiful!!
"Would love to stay longer!"
For my birthday, a friend and I checked in for a girls' trip. We loved the hotel, though it was difficult to find the elevator to the lobby from self-parking. Still, everyone was polite and welcoming. They recommended a lovely seafood restaurant downtown, sent champagne and strawberries to the room and were generally delightful. "Great Staycation!"
We had a wonderful tim. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The bathrooms are too small though. It would be nice to have larger bathrooms and showers. But, it still was nice. The restaurants are lovely and the grounds are beautiful. We also enjoyed the pools. It was nice to have three different options. We would definitely go to this hotel again.
"The Houstonian is a gem in the middle of Houston"
What a gem in the middle of the city. The hotel grounds are wooded and back up to Memorial Park. You can actually forget that you're staying in the city. From the moment you arrive at the hotel, the staff is extremely attentive and the room is tastefully decorated and comfortable. The ONLY negative I can think of about The Houstonian is the size of […] the bathroom. It is extremely small. Everything else is so comfortable and luxurious. In addition, I had a problem with the A/C one morning. I called the front desk and maintenance arrived within 5 minutes. The problem was fixed within 10 minutes. For all of this, rates for the rooms as well as for room service and restaurant prices, were very reasonable. I will definitely be returning to the Houstonian on my next trip to Houston. Läs mer

"Not great for an adult weekend"
I came here for a quiet weekend away from my children. Little did I know that the amenities are shared with The Houstonian Club so every family in Houston brought their kids to the pools that day!!! It was loud and crowded. The doors and walls to the hotel rooms are super thin so I heard conversations of every guest walking down the halls and the cleaning […] ladies in the next room. "The Houstonian"
This was the WORSt hotel we've ever stayed in! This big expensive five star hotel has paper thin walls! One guest played their tv loud for 3 hours. We could hear everything going on in the hallway. The food was TERRIBLE! There is also a 100/night incidental fee that we were not aware of. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again even if we were given a free […] room. Läs mer

"They care for and about You"
Room 333 what a beautiful view of literally a jungle.... My S.O. Celebrated a BDay and they left a card a very nice snack cake tray for her.....pool and hot tub were excellent..... The club and workout rooms second to none and finally the staff helpful and have an eye for pampering..... I will go again only to relax
"Wonderful stay"
PROS: beautiful secluded and quiet grounds, impeccable hotel, stunning lobby, wonderful staff, well appointed rooms, very clean, great location. CONS: poor quality flat screen TV, $13 self parking, expensive breakfast ($60 2pp).

"Always Outstanding"
Me and my family stay here often. We always enjoy it. The facilities are an added bonus, and the service is always exceptional. The beds are queen size, not doubles which helps with our kids.

"A great spot"
Everyone was very nice. They suprised us on our first night with free milk and cookies for the kids. The gym and pools are fantastic. The one thing I did not care for is in the pool is that the lifeguards on duty make everyone get out of the pool so they can take a brake. I can understand this for kids but if parents want to swim with their kids with […] no guard I think they should be able to. A very minor complaint but the overall hotel was a wonderful place.. The hotel was fantastic. Was great for the whole family. Only negative would be that the restaurant for breakfast is very pricey.

Very nice place to stay. Beautiful wooded grounds right in the galleria area. Our room was recently updated and very nice. Terrific bedding - very comfy and good quality. Small-ish bathroom in the standard king room. Floor to ceiling window overlooks the woods - very tranquil. Lobby is beautiful. We had lived in Houston for 20 years and everyone knows […] what a luxury property this is. The spa and Houstonian Club are just a short walk away thru the garden pathway.Only complaint, a small one, was that we kept having to find our waiter and ask for service at their restaurant, Olivette. We loved the stay and enjoyed the room. This is also a private club so the pool areas were a bit more crowded than you would otherwise find. Fortunately, the pool(s) were huge and VERY nice. Went to the Houstonian for a weekend getaway. Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!! Service, Rooms, Surroundings etc. would recommend the Hotel to anyone.
"Overpriced"
The room was overpriced and small. We couldn't control the air conditioning and it was terribly humid. An engineer came and turned it down, but it remained humid.

The grounds & location are beautiful but the hotel is a little outdated and needs some updating. You can hear everything that goes on in the hallways so its frustrating for light sleepers. I continue to stay here because I go to the Trellis spa a lot - i recommend it!

"Weekend get away"
We spent a last minute relaxing weekend get away. Everything and everyone were wonderful, including the food. Thank you, Hotels.com, for making it affordable.
"Perfekt for både familie og jobbreiser"
Kombinasjonen fint hotel, store utendørs basseng og barnebasseng i parklignende privat område og fri tilgang til et stort (!) treningssenter på området med gratis barnepass gjør dette til et unikt hoteltilbud i Houston. Vi fant et godt sommertilbud på hotel.com og syntes vi fikk utrolig mye for pengene.
"Når Houston viser sig fra sin bedste side"
Efter en meget lang rejsetid fra Danmark var det en fantastisk oplevelse at komme til dette hotel, som ikke havde oversolgt sig selv i billeder og tekst. Vi skulle have været der i 3 dage, men tog en ekstra overnatning. Vi rejste med 2 voksne børn, som også var begejstret. Heb in dit Hotel al vaker verbleven, op zich een prima hotel op een prima lokatie enig minpunt is dat daar dit hotel super beveiligd is ivm verblijf van allerlei hotemetoten afgeschermd is en derhalve je mobiele telefoon in je kamer niet werkt en je pas ontvangst heb als je of in de lobby of buiten bent. Verders een prima Hotel, met prima verbindingen […] naar zowel het zaken district als shopping centre Galleria. Als je spprtief ebnt heb je hier 1001 mogelijkheden incl. een geweldige masaga/fysiotherapie behandeling. Läs mer

Dans le quartier huppé de West Oak, cet hotel est un havre de paix. Situé au sein d'un Bayou et d'un grand Park, il est proche de Galleria Center et est doté d'un superbe club de fitness, pool et spa.
