Hotell Blue Mountain Inn - Blanding

This hotel is being remodeled and therefore a number of things seem so-so (July 2011); The hotel is actually rather difficult to find since there is a hugh sign saying "Comfort hotel" or which ever chain they bought the building from - one would think this should be the first thing to change. We found it only after driving up and down main street (this […] doesn't take too long though) and asking a local. It is clearly a budget-type of hotel, but the rating on hotels.com does not at all reflect our experience. This is a sub-average hotel and the price is thereafter. We had also the misfortune of getting a room where we were greeted by a bed bug as we were going to get into our bed around 10 to 11 pm. On the plus side, however, we should say that the concierge solved the problem quickly and without any problem and moved us to a mini-suit on spot. The sign says the comfort inn. I think they bought out the family and haven't finished renovations. The place does not look like the pictures. It looks grimy but that might be due to the renovations. I picked this place over the other nicer and cheaper hotels because they said they had a fitness center. A Gazelle and a broken gold's home gym shouldn't […] count as a fitness center. It smelled like wet dog in the pool area. There was either dog poop or a big clump of dirt that looked and smelled suspiciously like dog poop on the pool deck when I checked in. There are no pets allowed so I wonder where that came from. Also the hot tub and pool looked grimy and unkempt. I did not swim because it looked like I could catch something. When I checked in they gave me keys to a room that was already in use. The person had just gotten out of the shower and it had the potential to be very awkward. I had to call twice for the internet password since my brother didn't write it down. When I asked the second time, the lady was rude and sounded frustrated, spelling it out like I was a 5 year old. The place was dead, so it's not like she was busy or stressed and I took offense. Also the fan in the room did not work and it was hot all night.... It was December so that doesn't even make sense. There were some good things. The bed's were comfortable, shower had good water pressure, breakfast had bacon and sausage plus the standard free stuff, plenty of extra towels in the room. Läs mer

If all you care about is a room for the night, this hotel would suit you fine. As of our stay the hotel was being remodeled and the rating should improve after the remodel is done.

This hotel had a different name so we were confused when trying to find it. Desk clerk in AM was rude and breakfast was sparse. Door to hall from parking lot was left open all night - not much security.

Dont try to look for the Blue Mountain Inn in Blanding, there is no sign, it is actually The Comfort Inn. Even as a Comfort Inn, it is pretty dated, although it looks like they are doing a remodel. I cnat say this was the worse hotel I have stayed in, but it was definately not worth what I paid per night. I would put it more in the Motel6 category for […] room rates. Hotel was listed as Blue Mountain Inn, but all the signage was Comfort Inn. Very confusing. They should have at least put a banner saying Blue Mountain Inn. Our GPS took us right there, but the sin age confused us. Still under rehab, but certainly adequate.

Place was in transition. Used to be a comfort inn. had not changed the sign yet. work in progress; could be nice whne done. Good restaurant next door.

Hotel still in remodeling but no inconvenient Good resto next to them

I had a hard time locating the in because they are in the middle of a renovation, and they do not have a sign of any kind saying that it is the Blue mountain Inn. We actually drove through the parking lot and past the front door looking for the address and had to ask at a local store to find. the place. This was the only real problem. Fine for the price. Thought that we were getting a Comfort Inn, but they are now independent. Restaurant next door was very good!

I found nothing wrong with the hotel and have no complaints but during my holiday I stayed at several hotels/motels which were just as good if not better , and cheaper. So in comparison it is a little overpriced.

Where do I start. The front desk clerk was unfriendly and unaccomodating. The hallway and entrance rugs were filthy. The room needs a complete update. Way overpriced! Comfort Inns shoud take this franchise away from the owner or demand a complete refurbishment. Hotels.com rating is way too high -- it doesn't deserve even a "1".

Les prestations proposées sont correctes. Des travaux sont en cours au deuxième niveau du bâtiment. Ils ne nous ont pas perturbés.

不知为什么酒店的招牌一直是据说以前经营的另一个品牌，所以让我一通好找...... 小镇晚上什么都没有。

Nous avons choisi cette étape dans notre périple Amérique de l'ouest pour nous reposer et visiter monument valley. Cet hôtel est très agréable à tout point de vue. Bon rapport qualité prix

prevenz vos clients quand un hotel change de nom car blue mountain inn est devenu confort inn et chercher un hotel qui n"existe pas n'est pas tres simple cet hotel un peu en travaux et en cours de reorganisation avec un personnel tres aimable

pas de soucis particuliers, seul l'emplacement est moyen car assez loin notamment de Monument Valley et de Lake Powel. Très bon restaurant à proximité (Old Timer)

Price - quality ratio very good. The only complain is that breakfast was too weak. We took only juice.

Hotel tres correct. Petits déjeuner satisfaisant surtout le 1er jour où nous avions des gauffres fraiches et croustillantes. Dommage si on ne tombe pas ce jour là. Un peu bruyant malgré tout. On sait quand le voisin utilise les toilettes ou la salle de bains. Mais pas mal situé pour rayonner autour.

Un peu cher!
