Hotell Best Western Hollywood/Aventura - Hallandale Beach

Vi bodde här vår första natt för att sedan resa vidare. Helt ok för en natt. Hotellet var slitet och rummet var mörkt och dystert.Dock var det rent. Ac:n var inte på när vi öppnade dörren så det kom en otrevlig doft men den försvann sen. Personalen var trevlig vid ankomst. Frukosten var faktiskt bättre på detta hotellet än de andra vi stannade på under […] resans gång. Vi kom till hotellet runt 18 tiden ,sov och reste sedan vidare vilket gör att jag kan inte bedömma poolområdet. Vi visste att det var ett billigt hotell så vi hade inga större förväntningar. Läs mer

Första natten bodde vi i rum mot motorvägen, extremt bullrigt. Hotellet hade tom lagt fram öronproppar. Andra natten bodde vi i ett rum mot hotellets parkering, helt annan upplevelse. Bullret hördes inte alls. Rent och snyggt trevlig personal och helt OK frukost. För en enstaka natt är det helt OK, prisvärt, men inte ngn längre tid.

Vi bokade på bilden och det var fel. Läget är mellan 2 motorvägar så det är liv dygnet runt vilket gör poolen oandvändbar. Vi bodde däremot på Best Western Kendall i Miami 3 nätter och det var suveränt. Absolut bästa valutan för pengarna- Bra frukost dessutom och superfräscha rum och kanonbra pool i lugnt område med Starbucks runt hörnet

Det var långt till stranden och ganska kass kvalite på rumen. Det finns betydligt bättre ställen närmre ett city centrum och standen, man var tvungen att åka bil vart man än skulle, söer närmre havet det är det värt...

Small roaches were seen in the bathroom on the first night. Not very comfortable from that point onward. Carpet worn.

The room was wide and comfortable, with TV, coffe-maker, microwave oven and refrigerator. Buffet breakfast was included and free parking too. It is located a bit far from the city centre (30 minutes by car). The only negative thing is that appeared some cockroaches in the room.

This hotel looks nothing like the pics online. It smelled mildewed and musty. They assured me that the rooms were newly remodeled. When I walked in the were spider webs on the ceiling and the carpet was filthy. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone that I know.

For where we needed to be the Best Western in Hallandale wasn't in the best location. A good thirty minutes from South Beach/Downtown Miami meaning taxis will cost around $50 each way. The place itself was decent although the hallway smelled a bit. The room was fine, damp patch on the floor caused by the a/c but this was the only problem. There was […] no safe in the room as advertised and only a few at the main desk, none of which were available during our stay. We couldn't hear the I95 from our room in one of the even numbers. The immediate area around the hotel is fine. There is a strip club but there was no noise/issue with it. There are a Wendys and Dennys just outside the hotel for food as well as a supermarket. The area felt safe until you walked about fifteen minutes away from the hotel towards Hallandale/Hollywood. As the hotel is just off the I95 at exit 18 it's easy enough for cabs to get to and with free WiFi and a TV it's not bad for the price. Läs mer

rooms on I-95 side of hotel are pretty noisy. Gentleman's club next door gave neighborhood a very seedy feel. I wouldn't really feel comfortable having my wife and children walking around after dark. The hotel was overall really nice. Very clean which was a big plus. I would come back, however request an interior room. Being right on 95, it was a bit noisy at night.

noise of air conditioner kept me up 1/2 the night. other than that all was well.

THIS IS A STANDARD HOTEL DO NOT EXPECT ANY LUXURY BUT THE PRICE IS VERY CHEAP . CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST , INTERNET AND PARKING ARE FREE ON CHARGE . BESIDE THE 95 HIGHWAY .ROOMS ARE SPACIOUS, A/C AND CLEAN. FOR A SHORT STAY NOTHING BETTER.

Just needed a place to sleep and leave early in the morning. Didn't have problem though the room was located just in front to the highway. The gentlemen's club next to it wasn't a problem but I was in there on Monday (no idea how it is during the weekend). Didn't have toothpaste and they provided without any charge.

I enjoyed the surrounding area. Restaurant across from the hotel a convenient store on the corner. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was the dust on the curtains and between the fridge if u have allergies look out.

Hotel is a little old, but rooms are updated and clean. The price is good, it was a good basic hotel. Staff was very nice.

I'v been to Orlando and Kennedy Space Center. This place was stop by just for one night staying place. And then I went to the Key West .

Being right off of I-95, there is a tremendous amount of road noise going on, and the freeway on-ramp is only 20 yards from your window, so accelerating vehicles is your sleep music. The staff was stern with no smiles. When walking to the counter to check in, a manager actually picked up a phone and PRETENDED to have a conversation. Thus forcing another […] worker to leave their duties in the office and come help.... which she was less than enthused about. The room was clean and nice. Hot water in the shower takes about 10 minutes to come, so be patient. The flat screen TV was very well enjoyed. The king sized bed was beautiful at first glance, but ultra firm. I ran, jumped, and bounced right off and onto the floor. My wife nearly peed herself laughing at me. Altogether, the hotel was clean, and I would recommend. First the good part: The room was confortable. The bad part: I found a roach in my room, the eating area was to small and there was always a wait for a table, they forgot to put soap in the room and the neighboorhood was not nice

Hotel is somewhat dated, but staff, service and cleanliness overcame that extremely well. Very good value!

This hotel was completely mis-represented online! It was completely under construction with the halls and rooms in complete disarray! It was incredibly understaffed! We had no room service and housekeeping! The halls were full of dust, construction materials and I was afraid for my children's safety! We were disgusted with the hotel and never in our […] hotel experiences did we have such a horrible one as this! Shame on you for listing it with the photos and info the way you did! We had originally planned to spend 3 nights but then couldn't stand it anymore after two and moved to another hotel- A REAL HOTEL! My best friend and I came to Fl. to watch our horse run at Gulfstream Park in nearby Hallendale. The location of B.W. made all our destinations very convienient. The personal associated with B.W. from the front desk (Bill) to all the other staff was very helpful and courteous. The comp breakfeast was very good with many choices. The only item I felt […] could use improvement was the odor when we would enter the room. It was a musky type smell that once you were in the room for a while you would no longer notice. I'm not sure if was from the cleaning products or just dampness but that was my only negative against the B.W. If we have the opportunity to race again at Gulfstream I would certainly consider the B.W. again. Again thanks for an overall very enjoyable stay and give your staff a "Big Kudos" from me. the room was nice, but the traffic noise was very loud even all night long. easy 15 minute ride to FLL airport.

Room had a distinct odor to it. It was very noise because our room faced the onramp to the highway.

1. Room smelled like urine, probably from the ac so had to turn it off. The receptionist told no other rooms, packed up. Gave me spray freshener? 2. Gentlemen's club right next, I-95 right next - loud. 3. Found empty box of condoms in office table drawer. Other then that everything is nice.

The facility is old, worn out and badly in need of refurbishing.

Skip this hotel. I stayed here before and noticed a certain "element" that I ignored. I could not ignore it on my 2nd visit. I got on the elevator with 3 guys with a 12 pack of beer each and 1 hooker. Not suited for the family. On the positive side...the front desk staff is very friendly, helpful, and lots of parking. The locarion is very good, near shopcenters f.e. Aventura Mall

I travel quite a bit, and I am in no way picky. Im a female who normally travels alone, in my 20s. This hotel is directly across a SMALL street from a strip club... so the parking lot at night is a little iffy. There is also another strip club on the other side of 95. I am from the Miami area, so I already knew this. This is just a heads up for others. […] The hotel itself is nice, and i never had any problems staying here 2 other times. HOWEVER, this go around my air conditoner did not work properly. When i called they sent a maintenance man who was very rude. He told he "oh well it blows cold air, i dont see the problem." Well, the room was NOT cold. Turns out, only one half of the unit was working. His solution was, "turn the air off and back on, it ill work." Okay, lol... even I know that is not going to fix anything. I called to see if I can get another room, they were booked. So i just dealt with it. Thank goodness it was pretty nice outside or else it would have been horrible. South Fl in December only get into the 70s at night. Oh well. On arriving at the reception I noted that it looked new- very smart foyer. The place was having a refurbishment and it needed it. But to my surprise/shock they placed us on the 3rd floor which was being redone! The corridor was like a building site, the room opposite was beening stripped out the dust and smell from the carpets was awful and our room […] was not much better (including the multi legged insect in the fridge!!!)We was immedeately given a newly refurbished room on the 4th floor, so why not in the first place as the hotel was not busy. The rooms on the north side are next to the motorway so can be noisy but ear plugs are provided. All in all this might have been a better review if they had applied some common sense and closed the corridors they were working. Läs mer

Dirty/Ice machine broke but great location and cheap

This hotel is right off I-95 which is great except that it was not very clean at all. Maid service was slow; we had to call someone to clean our room after being gone all day. There were little roaches crawling around..UGHHH Gentleman's Club in front of the hotel and car body shops to the rear and side of the hotel. Not a great neighborhood.

I have stayed in this hotel twice in the past month. My first visit was great - room was clean and bed was comfortable. There was however, black mold on the ceiling above the shower. I sent in a comment card about the mold to Best Western and to their credit, they acknowledged the problem. My second stay was disappointing. The sheets were pilled, the […] bed was very uncomfortable, and the carpet had not been vacuumed. And there was no feedback card in the room. Ok I read the reviews on this hotel before booking n there was good and bad reviews and this is why...when I first got to the hotel they put me on one floor where as soon as you got off the elevator it smelled like mildew n cigarettes and the room was worst, floor was damp, there was a leak in the bathroom ceiling. After complaining and getting ready […] to just leave the hotel they put me on a totally different floor the whole floor smelled totally different and the room looked just like the picture on the website so I can see why there are 2 different reviews it depends on which floor you stay on that will determine how your stay will be. First off, hotels.com charged us for room with king bed and sent hotel a confirmation for only one double bed. No kings available at that point, so staff found room with two doubles, but not a nice room. Smelled of smoke as hotel only recently became non-smoking. Second nite was better - king bed, better room, acceptable but just OK. We were told hotel […] is under new ownership and they seemed to be upgrading the facility, so that's good. Most staff were very nice and helpful, parking convenient, small workout room open 24/7, just off major highway, short ride (NOT walk) to good shopping, restaurants, etc. in Aventura. Läs mer
