My stay was great. I would like to compliment Best Western employee "Bryan" who works the front desk. I found him to be knowledgeable,helpful and an extremely nice guy.

A friend & I stayed 2 nights & it was sufficient for what we needed. Positives: The staff were friendly & helpful. The breakfast was nice. Negatives: It smelled like hotel & there was mold in my bathtub grouting & my shampoo, conditioner & body wash disappeared the day it was cleaned.

We loved it! There was a nice breakfast, the decor was comforting and nice, and the pool and hot tub were great! The staff was SO friendly, and engaged us in conversation often. Will be sure to stay here again next year for the Riverbank Run!

This hotel was very nice for the price. The bed was comfortable, the room was very clean, but on the small side. Everything seemed in really good condition. The breakfast was pretty good - waffles,eggs, breads/pastries, cereal. Fresh fruit would be a nice addition. I would stay here again for a couple of nights.

Was great room, service, everything. But there is nearby construction, which cannot be helped. But you don't heat it in the hotel.

Desk staff never followed through on requests. Roll away bed that we requested was not delivered to our room. Excuse given? Because we didn't answer the door. Hard to do when we weren't in the room. Then he said that he called our room, but no one answered. Again, hard to do when we weren't in the room. I would at least have expected that they would […] have left a message on the room telephone......nope. So at 1:30am when we arrived back to the hotel to discover no rollaway bed, the staff merely wheeled it down with us and left it outside the door. They had the bed tied closed so tight, we had to improvise and cut the string with nail clippers. After checkout, we called the desk to inquire about a pair of shoes that we left behind. We were assured that we would receive a return call. It took THREE calls from us (never a return from them) to get an answer. No apologies from staff for any of the poor service. Läs mer

old hotel and rooms show it. bed ok for comfort--nothing to rave about. difficult to regulate the temp in the room. very very limited tv--it poured for the two days I was there and the hotel only has about 7 channels to watch. for $30 more I could have stayed across the road at a 4 star hotel--that is what I will do next time. I have tried this hotel […] many times and always tried to give it a "second chance"......no more. Breakfast very very limited and not very good. Go down the road to ihop instead. Läs mer

Everything was great besides the location, but it isn't the hotel's fault there was construction on 28th Street in Grand rapids. Made it difficult to travel and get back to the hotel.

The staff was incredibly nice and I was surprised at how clean and nice the room was. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and we all enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was clean and quiet. The front desk was very helpful. The hotel was situated right beside a restaurant which was great expecially because we were from Canada and do not know the area I would recommend this hotel.

The bed was really hard, not very comfortable and you could feel all the metal spring which clanged together as you moved around. The TV service was also kind of shoddy, with every channel being very "snowy" (I haven't seen that since the old OTA antenna days) and there was no channel guide/listing available. The front desk staff at check in and check out (Mariah!) was terrific. Our biggest disappointment was that we booked a 2 Queens Bed "Suite" which turned out to be little more than a regualr room with a small refridgerator and microwave. There wasn't even a table with additional chairs or additional seating other than 1 stuffed chair. I think it is misleading […] to use the word "Suite" in reference to something that is little more than a room with a few extra appliances. Läs mer

After a long day of work I wanted a hot hot tub and comfortable bed. The hot tub was large, but not very hot nor deep. The bed was better than other three star hotels but not great. The work out room and sauna were great. The sports bar next door was great!

Good experience. Only problem the noise from the heater/air unit was annoying.

The bedskirt was torn, and needed repair. We were stuck in the snow in the parking lot, and the guys plowing out disappeared until my 82-year old husband had shoveled out before he even saw them again. Room was clean, and wake-up service was prompt.

This hotel isn't fancy but the rooms were clean & well kept. The room decor was up to date & beds were comfortable. Breakfast was okay but ended at 9 am. I appreciated having a fridge in my room. They had a nice pool & fitness room, though I didn't end up using either. It was a good value for what I paid.

The hotel was great, the restaurant next door was horrible. The food was cold and the service was no good. I would recommend the hotel, the staff were amazing and friendly, just don't eat next door.

We stayed here when we came to the area for thanksgiving, and liked it enough to stay there again for Christmas. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms very clean. My only complaint is breakfast...things seem to be put out in small batches and are wiped out as soon as they replace them. Also, Christmas day they were out of regular milk, syrup for […] the waffles, and a few other things. You would think knowing there was a holiday that everything would be closed on, that they would have taken inventory a few days before and stocked up on whatever they were low on. We found the staff to be very helpful. We requested adjoining rooms and they made every effort to do that for us when we were checking in. Two sisters had to leave at 4:00 the next day and the complimentary shuttle was awesome! Then the three sisters that had a later flight in the day were allowed to sit in the lobby after we checked out for another […] 3 hours so we could work on the computer and wait to head to the airport. The entryway, lobby and hallways could have been cleaner. However, the rooms seemed to be clean and comfortable with new pillows and comfortable beds. Läs mer
