Bra hotell till bra pris. Alla hotell är dyra i Santa Monica. Tro bara inte att det går att gå till stranden. 33 kvarter i LA är lååångt. Däremot finns det buss utanför som går till ocean. Bra hotell att bo på första natten.

It was very comfy everyone was friendly and respectful. It was small but good for a small group of people. The room was very clean. Pillows were amazing. It was close to a lot of shops and nice views. The neighborhood was nice and peaceful.

we had asked for a nonsmoking room. Room appeared clean but smelled of smoke.

The rooms are really old got a damp smelling room. No fan in bathroom had to open a window. No view except for dirty unit ouside. Way over priced for the quality.

Priced right .comfortable just bait far from Santa Monical Beach

The overall appearance and cleanliness of the hotel was OK, but beware the rooms have paper-thin walls and no sound proofing in the bathroom. Another hotel guest was apparently ill the night we stayed and we could hear everything. Not pleasant.

The hotel is very nice overall. There are some small nuances. Staff was very unfamiliar with their own facilities. I wanted to know why there was no water near/around the sauna and no one had any idea of what I was even referring to. The rooms are very spacious. They do not mind if you have more than one head to a bed. Very relaxing place.

Understand this is was not Sherton nor Marriott hotel. But, the room was smelling of old clothes or something. Use some air freshner or ??? Musty order. Not a good neighborhood ...close to Santa Monica but too folks hanging out... Thanks,

For a last minute business trip stay this hotel worked. however it was dirty, not comfortable, and unfriendly. the price was disappointing for what I received.

Large clean rooms, but lacked room safe, a pool and tv channels for the children - although we were out site-seeing most of the time and didn't much miss them - because of lack of room safe - we had to carry our electronics out to the car every trip, e.g. computer, ereader, ipad and all our jewelry and money. Great deal for the Santa Monica area. Have to drive and park in the garage by the promenade to shop or go to the beach but you'll save a lot of money. Worth it. Continental breakfast was pretty decent too.

It was convenient and clean. I asked for a non-smoking room but the room smelled. I noticed the room next to mine had a no smoking sign on the outside of the door. Mine did not. I was staying there while visiting my family and new grandchild so I didn't want the bother of changing my room. I did not ask for a change. Also, the free breakfast was very […] minimal. The rooms were clean and what you'd expect in this price range. Just a short drive away from Santa Monica Pier. Quiet neighborhood, all though we wew out exploring the city most of the time. The breakfast was simple, but okey.

As soon as I check in I knew I was in for trouble. The person checking me in was so slow it took at least 15 mins. When I got to my room the maid was still there cleaning the carpets. As soon as we walked in the carpet was soaked ant the TV did not work. I tried calling front desk but they kept putting me on hold then when they did answer they agreed […] to switch my room. The gym was a joke, it only had one bike, one row machine, and one bench...That's it!! The continential breakfast was horrible. The pastries was stale and the milk was warm. For the price this was a cool location - Straight down Santa Monica Blvd to get to all attractions. We walked to the local coffee spot each morning and enjoyed the neighborhood.

good for the money a cheap clean place to sleep but get up early for the breakfast before they run out of food !

We were happy with the bedroom and cleanliness; we were disappointed in the worn out towels & a sign that stated if we wanted more towels they would charge $10 per towel. My daughter-in-law and son and their kids also stayed there and with three small children they went out and bought towels for the children for their bath instead of paying $10 per […] towels. Continental breakfast was not good; only sugar cold cereal, out of coffee and pastries. A few apples & we were down for breakfast @ 7:15 a.m. We took the family out for breakfast instead. Rude Manager - We checked in to this hotel a few days before new years eve 2010. The family checking in before us was having a problem with the front desk manager who adamantly refused this family any courtesy when they suddenly realized they had booked three rooms online instead of two. What a poor excuse for a front line hotel representative! Our […] check in went very smoothly but the manager was still grumbling about those guests who presumed that the hotel would be more accommodating and would allow them to rent only two rooms! The nerve! The walls in this old but nicely decorated hotel are paper thin! We had a couple arguing in one adjoining room and a not too loud but still active party going on in the other all at 2:30 to 3:30 am. Talk about having a poor nights sleep! Their exercise equipment is a joke. It is more an assemblage of flea market or cheap garage sale exercise equipment castoffs that is placed at the end of hallways commonly traveled. I did not see one person attempting to use what was there in the two nights I spent at this establishment. Food - The sports bar we went to up the street served good bar food and reasonably priced drinks. A nearby diner/ restaurant we went to called Coogans had a nice menu, served tasty food, and had a fine wait staff. Highly recommended! The offered morning continental breakfast at the hotel was beyond disappointing consisting of some puny high sugar pastries, toast and butter, and a few pieces of unripened fruit. Awful! Hotel needs upgrades and is a bit funky but clean throughout. The location was convenient and price was right for the area.

you can walk about two miles to the ocean or a short taxi ride. The front desk was helpful (yet didn't tell us about the bus option) in telling us how to get to the ocean. We got a noise complaint when we hadn't moved or made loud noises. We had been sitting outside on our incredibly enorous deck (wondeful by the way) and we got a call saying the room […] below us complained. We don't talk loud or run around the room so there is no way we were too loud. We had never had a noise complaint before. Our neighbor two rooms down the hall had just come home and was obnoxiously loud talking on his phone and blaring the tv so i'm guessing noise leaks a little bit. Overall great stay. They had a chair in the bathroom to get ready and cleverly placed exercised equipment througout the building. Läs mer

Hotel is old and in need of update. Room was sufficient. What I expected for the price. Had a distinct mildew smell in the room/bathroom. Location is excellent for the Santa Monica pier and surrounding shopping/eating.

This hotel is very near UCLA Medical Center, where I was visiting. The rooms were basic, but comfortable and clean. The people at the front desk were helpful and the location is excellent. One of the cheapest options I could find in all of Los Angeles.

The hotel was fine for a one night stay. Could do with an upgrade in light of the cost.

Room was convenient. Had coffee, shower, but no iron. Service was friendly. Inernet worked good.

the linens were stained and/or dirty. there was mold in the shower the carpeting is disgusting dont walk barefoot on it. the gym is a joke. front desk staff is not friendly. the comforter is from 1970 and smelled like cigerettes. this hotel needs a complete cleaning and renovation, from paint to furniture to linens, carpeting, yuck... actually the whole […] place needs to be torn down and rebuild it... will never stay here again will pay an extra $30 to stay a little closer to S.M.Pier. horrible customer service, thin walls and dirty rooms with smelly sheets: save yourself $100 and don't go there

Was hesitant to stay at this hotel because of some of the reviews, but decided to anyways. We were pleased with this hotel. Room wasn't real big however it was all we needed and it was very clean. Didn't have any problems at all. I would stay here again!

Hotel on Santa Monica Boulevard. Easy going to Venice Beach, Hollywood , Promenade 3rd Street a.s.o. Simple breakfast. Better to go out for a good breakfast. Simple good hotel for short stay in Santa Monica.

Abbiamo scelto questo hotel per la vicinanza alla spiaggia di Santa Monica. Se si dispone di un'auto la zona è ottima e soprattutto l'hotel ha il parcheggio gratuito per i clienti. La colazione è abbastanza scarsa e deludente ma è pur sempre meglio di nulla. Le camere non sono molto silenziose, soprattutto quelle ai piani bassi che affacciano sulla […] Santa Monica BLV ma noi coi tappi abbiamo dormito bene. Het hotel is netjes, maar ligt aan een rumoerige weg, met veel busvervoer. Ook de airco is tamelijk rumoerig. De hoogtepunten in ST. M. zijn met de bus prima bereikbaar. Het ontbijt is eenvoudig en de ontbijtruimte is heel erg klein. Verder een redelijk hotel.
