Ok ställe, frukosten var av den sämre sorten. Trasig brödrost och bara vitt bröd och muffins. Rummet var rent och som det brukar vara i den prisklassen. Inga överraskningar.

Vi hamnade mitt i de historiska vingslagen i Alamo. Intill fanns också en mall för shopping och vårt barnbarn köpte en riktig cowboyhatt. Det var jättefina; bra hantering av bilen som kom direkt nr vi ville ha den.

Bra hotell med bra service. Frågade receptionisten efter en extra madrass till bäddsoffan och fick det levererat kort tid efter. Underbart med frukost som tillagas efter beställning, dock var det knapert utbud i frukostbuffén.

Ett mycket bra och prisvärt hotell. Fräscha rymliga rum, bra läge med gångavstånd till Alamo, Riverwalk mm. Skulle helt klart välja detta hotell, om jag skulle besöka San Antonio igen.Verifierad gästrecension

"Alamo/Riverwalk-Days Inn i San Antonio - centralt"
Nära till Downtown och Riverwalkcenter, liksom själva Riverwalk som ju är världsberömd. Vi var helt tagna när vi upptäckte den i bottenvåningen på Rivercenter. Alamo one block away. Allt inom gångavstånd. Stan jobbig att orientera sig i, ta med kompass. Det finns dock gott om gulklädda turistguider på stan liksom poliser (som lär sätta fast folk som […] går mot rött. 100 dollar kostade det, sa man till oss. Hm). På hotellet bodde vi 8 nätter. Allt var rent och snyggt och servicen helt ok. Personalen bakom disken borde dock inte vara så självupptagna att de glömmer hälsa på gästerna. Det fanns dock undantag. Varmt var det, 28-38°C utetemperatur, men det blir varmare längre fram försäkrade man oss. Inne fungerade dock luftkonditioneringen utmärkt. Vi saknade dock kylskåp och micro i vårt rum, något som de något dyrare sviterna har som standard, liksom en fast lina till internet (ta med ethernetkabel). Vårt rum hade bara ett ibland något skakigt trådlöst internet. Complimentary breakfast i receptionen. "Poorly bad service"
I arrived at night. Only one attendant was available for ALL services the hotel offers then was completely overwhelmed. To make the registration I spend over 20 minutes waiting for the attendant time. She assign me a room which locking system has a malfunction so I spend over 40 minutes trying to get in to the room.Finally the attendant assign me another […] room. She mention many times she didn't want to call her boss to solve the problem, I'm not sure why. I'm pretty sure they don't know the Customer Service concept and it seems they don't care. "Noisy rooms and horrible beds"
The rooms are noisy, the carpets filthy, and if the floors had not been so dirty, it would have been more comfortable to sleep on the floor. The so called breakfast was pathetic. Days old mini muffins and stale mini bagels. Yuck. I have stayed at other Days Inn locations several times, but this was the worst hotel I have e er stayed in. NEVER AGAIN. Our mattresses were stained terribly, and the floors didn't look vacuumed when we arrived. While they did get us fresh towels each day, overall we weren't too impressed for the price we paid.Verifierad gästrecension
"near riverwalk"
The hotels is near the alamo and the riverwalk, it takes a few minutes walk to reach them. The room was clean. The breakfast room is just in front of the reception desk in a too small room for the hotel. The breakfast is absolutely poor, there were just doughnuts and corn flakes to eat and coffee, tea and juice (they were off of orange juice for 2 days […] during my stay!!) to drink. "Disappointed..."
This is the 4th time staying in this hotel, and quite frankly, it was the worst. Had an issue with the night attendant being rude and disrespectful, only to have manager fail to record the incident and take any action accordingly. "Very Bad. NEVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL"
The mattresses were stained, who knows whether it was blood or what. Only one lamp in the room was in working condition. Carpet was also having multiple spots. It was a very bad experience. I got there around 11p and the door was locked. The staff member did not want to open the door because he said they were full even though I kept telling him i already had reservations. "Little things were not taken care of."
The service was excellent. The carpet in the room seemed quite dirty, the inroom coffee was not replentished, the tissue box was almost empty, the toilet paper roll was almost empty when I first unsed the room, and all of the wash clothes were not replentished the second day. "Old hotel room with bad smell"
First, I should say that the receptionists were very friendly. The one who checked me in changed the first room because of the smell, and she came back to see if everything was OK. The room we stayed in was clean and in pretty good condition. For staying for one night, it was a perfect place for a great price! They did try to charge us $10 for parking but I told and showed the receptionist Hotels.com said it was free parking and we did not have to pay the fee. "Rip-Off"
First, you're not booking for the nightly rate Hotels is displaying because unlike the other sites they don't include taxes and fees. Secondly, Days Inn charges you parking??? Seriously, $10 to park there. Days Inn looks like it's being run in the 1970s based on its decor and furnishings. It has no modern ammenities. It's next to an abandoned warehouse. […] I'm assuming that's where the bum stayed that approached us as soon as we got out of our vehicle. The hotel staff is rude, lazy, apathetic and generally less than intelligent. I wouldn't book this hotel for half of what I was forced to pay. The water didnt work, they moved us to a room that was not the same as what I had booked even though they admitted they've had water problems and the parking lot was only half full. All this, including being badgered by the housekeeping before check out time and with "do not disturb" on the door. After me sharing all my frustrations they offered to 'comp' me the parking. I stayed at a bed and breakfast in Arenal, Costa Rica 6 months ago that was more accomodating and a better value. I will NEVER stay at a Days Inn again, or use this site for that matter. Hotel was conveniently located to Riverwalk. Overpriced for the limited amenities offered and condition of room. Guy at the front desk tried to charge me twice for parking (at check in and at check out), even though it was included in my reservation. "Close to the sights but poorly maintaned!"
This hotel was absolutely horrible! The staff was horrible! The room was spacious but that where it ends. The bathroom was tight and you had little to no room to put anything. The tub was disgusting and filled with mold and mildew. When I took a shower the water was extremely cold... It wasn't until the 3rd person in our group that finally got hot water. […] The carpet wasn't even vacuumed, looked like someone got a bunch of new clothes and left the tags all over the place, and our sheets weren't even changed! There was not garbage bags in the trash cans and when I went downstairs to the office they gave me ice bucket bags, really? Oh, I was also appalled that there was a $10 parking charge! "Decent price for downtown location"
Upon arrival, the night desk rep said that my credit card was declined a $32 charge with Expedia. I called Expedia and they had no record of such pending charge. I had already been billed in advance for the days reserved. The rep went ahead and checked us in and advised me to speak with the Manager. It was resolved quickly the next morning, which I […] owed nothing. The hotel was also going to charge a daily $10 rate for parking, fortunately I saved my itinerary with Expedia which stated "free parking." They honored it promptly. The only thing I was not pleased with was that the tub had some ink/dye stains, especially on the floor. The TV ocassionally switched to black and white, but that would be resolved by wiggling the wire in the back of it. Overall, the staff was nice. It was my initial encounter trying to check in, that I felt things were going to go downhill, but all issues were resolved promptly. "Great inexpensive hotel in the perfect location"

"Would not stay again"
Hotel was very close to major attractions. The room left a lot to be desired. We stayed 2 nights and the second day there were no washcloths in the room and the towels were the thinnest I have seen. The room was sufficient for what I paid. There was a $10 parking fee; I assume by the day, but I only stayed one day. We were withing walking distance of the riverwalk, but be prepared to do some "city walking". The rooms havent been updated in awhile and the fridge and the blow dryer did not seem to work.
