"days inn in council bluffs"
our non smoking room reaked of smoke. it smelled like a huge ashtray..... but it was a non smoking room. the mattresses are so old and broke down. my husband and i pooled in the middle of it....they were so broken down i could feel the springs in my back. the entire hotel looks so outdated .... it needs help! the people were very nice though! the breakfast […] was very pathetic though.... the price is great though so i will prabably stay there again b ut i will bring air freshener and extra blankets to put on the mattress so i dont feel the springs. While the hotel and room were very clean, the air system did not work well and the room was stuffy.

This area was just off I-29 and half mile to Hurrah's casino. A walk-way to the casino from Days Inn was a refreshing exercise after the long ride in car. Days Inn was clean, affordable, and conveniently located to its surroundings and even a golf course near by!

The hotel was priced right and location was great for travel to and from the soccer fields which is why we were in town.

A tad out of the way but an excellent value, nice motel very clean rooms and good staff. Would stay there again and would recommend to everyone. out of the way but found easy with GPS. If gambling is what you want Harrah`s casino and golf course is just the the street.
"Cheap Rate = Cheap Hotel Room"
Appeared to be an old motel "updated" to a Days Inn. Staff very friendly and helpful! Hotel clean; did not smell. Room Very Clean. Bed sagged a lot; very soft. Breakfast was limited ... cereal, eng muffins/toast and small pastry selection. Coffee and OJ weak. "Worst Hotel"
This by far was the worst hotel experience. This place was a dump! For starters when I first walked in it was not inviting, it had this weird, musty, stale cigarette stench. Everything was old and needed an update. And the bed sheets were dirty, there was body hair/pubes on the sheets...I don't think they actually changed the sheets. Ugh, never again! "Close to zoo"
This hotel was a little hard to find and get to but for the price it fit our needs perfectly. The room was clean and comfortable. There was some smoke smell in the hall entrance but not in the room. We would certainly stay there again.

"Just needed a night to sleep..."
We were attending the Keith Urban concert at the Qwest Centre and needed a convenient hotel for an overnight stay. We have stayed there before for that reason. Our only disappointment this time was the poor quality of breakfast.

"Perfect for quick overnight stop"
My family and I were visiting family in Sioux City. We flew into Omaha and drove up to S.City. We had a very early morning flight out of Omaha to come home, and with the closure of I29 and several other road closures in Omaha (due to the flooding) we decided to get a room close to the airport in order to avoid the chaos of driving on the western-most […] Iowa roads. Honestly, I picked this hotel because it had the best price and was within 5 miles of the airport. Because of the low price, I wasn't expecting much. To my surprise this hotel was actually pretty nice! The room was bigger than I expected, and was immaculately cleaned, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was hands down the NICEST, and FRIENDLIEST hotel staff I have ever experienced. I absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to avoid an early morning commute to the airport from out of town. Trust me, the little bit we paid for the hotel was sooooo worth not having to navigate around the back streets of rural Iowa and Nebraska at 3am to get to our flight on time. It was about a 10 minute (very easy) drive to the airport (at 4:30am). There is also a gas station right next door which made it extremely convenient for us to top off the tank in the rental car before dropping it at the airport. Läs mer

The Days Inn was clean, they offered a continental breakfast, and was close to the casino for a wedding reception we were attending.

"Surprised..."
We were very surprised with the cleanliness of our room and the awesome location for the zoo, casino, golf course, and especially the great barbecue place in front. The clerk was very helpful. For the money, this was a great deal!
"Is my car safe..."
That's what I asked onced I found the drive way to the hotel. Had to take an alley between 2 business' to get to the parking lot. There were fences up around the hotel and many of the yards I saw as I drove around the block lookingfor the entrance. The front desk clerk, looked at me like I had just insulted her. The area surrounding this hotel was run down and made me uncomfortable at night. The staff was nice but the rooms were disgusting!
This hotel was close to the airport and very convenient to the highway, but I would NOT stay here again. The room was dirty!! Bedding was dirty and the box springs had visible blood stains on the side of it! They did accommodate us when we asked for a different room, which was slightly cleaner.

I chose the hotel for location and rates. We stayed for four nights. The breakfast bar was very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

My wife and I stayed here one night while we were in town for a concert. We knew we would not spend much time at the hotel since we were only staying one night, and this hotel meet our needs as far as price and location were concerned.

Great location, friendly, helpful staff, recently renovated shower/bathroom. Hotel as a whole could use a facelift (and it smells the part) but it was a good room for the price.

Nice landscaping, parking lot recently refinished, clean - quiet room with a good breakfast served. The only problem we had was in the bathroom. The shower diverter leaked and wouldn't allow full pressure to the shower head and the shower head was not adjustable. Well worth the price / close to the Henry Doorly Zoo.

We liked how it was very close to Omaha, yet reasonable rate.

Friendly and helpful people but sad to say you get what you pay for. The hotel was noisy and the mattresses need to be replaced. Not comfortable at all. Location was a breeze to allow us to get back on the highway quickly.
