Hotell Rialto - Barcelona

Vi bodde på hotellet en weekend i november. Toaletten luktade urin men efter att vi sagt till i receptionen städades den sen var det ok. Trånga, slingrande korridorer. Stenhårda, platta kuddar. Läget var nog det mest positiva.

Nära till hamnen, shopping och kultur. Bra läge med utmärkta rum, konfortabla sängar och har man tur får man ett rum innåt så att man slipper ha stadens ljud på hela natten, dock då utan fönster men bättre med tystnad än ett fönster som man ändå inte använder på natten.

Standardhotell med mycket trevlig personal, god hygien och perfekt läge! Bokning fungerade perfekt!

Kanonbra läge och ett fint hotell som kan rekommenderas! Det enda negativa, som faktiskt var jobbigt, är att det inte alls finns några kylskåp på rummen som utlovat. Dessa togs bort i renoveringen var det enda svar vi fick från receptionen.. Dåligt! Men i övrigt var badrummet stort och fräscht, hotellet ligger som sagt väldigt centralt och inga andra […] klagomål finnes. Läs mer

Perfekt läge!

Det mesta bra Störande skik och skrän från gatorna Ferran och gatan upp mot torget.Stora problem att sova. Inte rum mot mot gatorna nästa gång

Short, but very enjoyable

Rialto Lovely hotel, staff very pleasant. brilliant for shopping.

This was our second stay at the Rialto. Much better than the first, as our room did not stink of drains this time! The chamber-maid service was excellent, with some nice touches. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for us, being in the Gothic Quarter. Our only complaints concerned the buffet breakfast, which was very restrictive, […] especially as one of us is a vegetarian. There was very little variety, particularly when it came to eggs, which were limited to cold hard-boiled eggs only! Also our luggage was temporarily mislaid when left in the care of hotel staff at reception on the last day of our stay. Obviously we realise this is a free, courtesy service as it was beyond our check-out time of 12 noon, but it caused a short period of anxiety when we thought we'd lost our luggage which contained our passports and tickets! Overall: the hotel was OK for the price but the room itself wasn't really 3-star quality in my opinion. Pros: close to major attractions, pleasant English-speaking reception, room size adequate. Cons: there was no bath tub, the shower area was separated by a curtain, with sewage going into a hole in the floor. When we entered the room there was foul […] smell coming from the sewage hole, although we ran the shower for 5 min and the fresh water seemed to have washed the smell away. Still, not very pleasant. Great location, next to lots of restaurants and shops. The room was very small but clean. The heat worked well. Great value.

stopped 14 - 18th Nov 2011 Situation very good, 400 metres from Las Ramblas. plenty of resturants in the area. close 400 m from underground. 10 minute walk to port Vell. would stop there again.

Hotel Rialto is in an excellent location within walking distance to all of the old town sites, Las Ramblas and several metro stations. Very nice breakfast was included even though it wasn't listed. GREAT location. But, small rooms and the room was hotter than I like. Yes we could open the window but it was loud. No the AC did not work in late Oct.

I think the Rialto was a little over priced for what you got, but the location is perfect for anyone that wants to be in the middle of La Rambla and the Gothic section of town. Yes, the streets are bustling late into the night and a room right of de Farren should be avoided, but it is a wonderful neighborhood to say in.

Rude staff. The restaurant wouldnt even let me leave to my room with a glass of water. No wash cloths in room... Cheap toiletries... Hard uncomfortable bed. The only good thing about this hotel was the location.

The best feature of this hotel is its location, just a block off La Rambla and a 10 minute walk to the waterfront. The hotel was clean and modern although the room was quite small. Clean hotel, friendly staff. Close to everything we wanted to see and do.

The hotel is located just off La Rambla so good central location but it does mean you fight through hoards of ppl evertime you leave the hotel. Barcelona was SO busy when we were there. The hotel staff were pleasant and reasonably helpful, but didn't exactly go our of their way to provide information - directions to the laundromat & Internet cafe proved […] difficult. Our room was on the 3rd floor near the lifts. Small room with very hard bed but nice bathroom. Quite noisy though and we had no external window which was awful! Also no frdge in our room which was dissappointing for a 3 star hotel. Other rooms in the hotel are hopefully better. I would look to stay somewhere out of las rambles next time but this place is ok. travelers need to understand this is a"boutique" european hotel. there was no ambience to the room. ,no english speaking television,in europe don 't expect face washcloths in this type of hotel.the beds were twin sized .i sacrificed the ambience for location. i would not stay in this hotel again.

I would recommend this hotel to others apart from the dreadful smell in the bathroom of our room. It was like a really strong smell of sewage and was very off putting. This smell could actually be got out on the street also, outside the hotel. It may not just have been a hotel problem....not sure. Had it not been for this, the hotel location was fabulous....so […] close to the heart of everything, yet the rooms were lovely and quiet. Very near to La Rambla and within walking distance of the beach. The bad smell was really the only down side but it was very bad and would prevent me from recommending this hotel to others! Läs mer

Fantastic location, right in the centre of town, next to the cathedral. Only a short walk to the coast, Ramblas, shops and many tapas bars. Room was very simple - had to leave a deposit with reception to borrow a hairdryer. However it was clean, with good water pressure in the bathroom. No english channels on the TV, but not a problem if out exploring. Room […] was also quiet. Area is mainly pedestrian only so no road noise. Would stay here again. Läs mer

This hotel was blah for me. The positives: it is a short walk to La Rambla and to the beach. The negatives: the hotel smells (literally) the moment you walk in, there was hair on the bathroom floor (yuck!), and the air conditioner didn't function very well. The location of the hotel was perfect but the room was very disappointing. We were stuck in the bowels of the hotel with a tiny room. The window was small and opened directly onto someone's bathroom less then 6 feet away. There was a long walk from the lift (which never came so we had to use stairs) and the lights in the dark corridors were delayed. […] There seemed to be some lovely rooms so why was ours so poor? we got a blank response to our request to move. Location is excellent, center of Barcelona than even more strange that hotel does not have NO internet, NO cable.

This hotel is located right in the middle of the action. It is mere footsteps to the Placa Reial, the Ramblas, and Bari Gotic. I booked at this hotel for this convenience and it was well worth it. I was not expecting the nice sized accomodations, and splendid service that I received. Nothing wrong with this place if you are, like us, just looking for somewhere central to use as a base. Not recommended for business travellers or those who like to hang in the hotel for many hours - but if you aim to unpack, get out, explore, come home, sleep, get up then this place is fine. Hotel was located on a street half way down Las Ramblas where it wasnt too noisy at night but still with plenty of people passing by so that it was ok for a single traveller to be out at night.

Udmærket hotel til prisen; helt fortræffelig beliggenhed midt i det gotiske kvarter. Vi boede på 5. sal og hørte ingen larm, hverken inde- eller udefra. Der var intet køleskab på værelset. Vi blev vækket flere gange den første nat pga. støjende fodboldbøller på gangen udenfor værelset. Da min veninde tyssede på dem, sparkede de på hendes dør. Jeg boede i et værelse, hvor en jernpersienne var boltet fast på væggen - dvs. man kunne ikke komme ud af vinduet i tilfælde af brand. Næste dag blev jeg flyttet […] til et lignende værelse. Fint hotel med god beliggenhed. Eneste ulempe under mit ophold var, at det i marts vrimler med især italienske skoleklasser, som er på lejrtur i Barcelona, og Rialto er også et populært valg for dem. En lidt træls oplevelse, men sådan er der jo så meget...

Hotellet ligger midt i det gotiske kvarter og tæt på alting. Fin morgenmadsbuffet med mange forskellige ting

Hotellet lå veldig sentralt til alle severdigheter. Kort vei til flybuss og sightseeingbusser. Personalet snakket dårlig engelsk, ikke veldig oppmerksomme, men ok. Anefalt tidspunkt å reise til Barcelona. Lite turister men mange catalonier, helligdag og nationaldag. Artig å få oppleve.

Man kan tydelig se ( og lukte ) at dette hotellet har hatt mage gjester.. For det første fikk vi ikke dobbeltseng, men to enkeltsenger slått sammen (sikkert jeg som var slurvete da jeg bestilte).. kunne la det gå, men lukten som kom ut av ventilasjonsanlegget tok kaka.. det luktet som om noen hadde tatt av seg joggeskoene sine i lufteanlegget.. Det […] endte altså med at vi måtte skru av varmen og lufte så mye vi kunne, som endte i en kald natt.. Vi manglet dessuten minibar, som var lovet på nettsiden. Beliggenheten var derimot helt fantastisk, med idyllisk shoppinggate, sentralt og trygt.. Neste gang spytter jeg heller inn et par hundrelapper ekstra, for god luft og søvn (!!!) er jeg helt avhengig av, beliggenhet eller ei... Läs mer

Paras puoli hotellissa on sijainti. Vilkkaan kadun varrella, minuutin kävelyn päässä Ramblalta, ja muutama lisää niin ollaan metroasemalla. Huoneessa vessa oli uusittu hiljattain, joten siitä plussa. Sisälämpötila myös joulukuussa oli OK. Miinusta sen sijaan siitä, että tallelokeron lukko toimi avaimella, mikä piti hakea maksua vastaan respasta. Huoneessa […] ei myöskään ollut jääkaappia, vaan käytävällä oli automaatti, josta sai ostaa pikkusyötävää ja juotavaa. Automaatti oli muutaman metrin päässä huoneen ovesta ja se kuulosti tosin siltä, että se olisi huoneessa, sen verran kovaa meteliä se piti. Ilmastointi hurisi muutaman minuutin välein hetken, minkä jälkeen se oli taas muutaman minuutin hiljaa. Huoneessa oli oma pieni parveke. Säilytystilaa oli vain tankokaappi. Sen lisäksi kaksi yöpöytää ja kirjoituspöytä, millä myös TV sijaitsi. Eli ei ollenkaan kunnon säilytystilaa vaatteille, mistä miinusta. Myöskään kylpyhuoneessa ei ollut lavuaarin ja peilin vieressä mitään laskutilaa. Sänky oli mukavan jämäkkä ja tyynykin perustasoa. Kaiken kaikkiaan hotelli sopii niille, jotka haluavat yöpyä keskustassa ja vain nukkuvat hotellilla. Itse pärjäsin hotellin kanssa jotenkuten, mutta seuraavalla kerralla kyllä kokeilisin jotain muuta. Läs mer

El hotel está bien ubicado. Me sorprendió el laberinto de sus pasillos pero tiene encanto. Las habitaciones son cómodas y los baños modernos, pero eran húmedas y frías y no prendieron la calefacción a pesar de que hacía frío. Die Lage ist Top. Man ist zu Fuss schnell bei der Ramblas oder beim Place de Catalunya. Service im Hotel ist gut. Zimmer sind wirklich okay. Nur wenn man den ganzen Tag unterwegs ist, wird man am Abend von stickiger, abgestandener, unangenehmer Luft erwartet. Bad ist sehr schön, kommt jedoch sehr wenig Wasser aus der Duschbrause. Svært misfornøyd med rommet. I 5.et., umulig å regulere til temperert vann i dusjen. Ingen sted på badet å plassere toalettmappe. Vi hadde bestilt dobbeltseng og fikk 2 enkle senger.

Jeg mener vi hadde frokost med i bestillingen, men på hotellet måtte vi betale for frokosten. Kan dere gi meg svar på dette? Ellers veldig fornøyd med hotellet.
