"Great Location - older hotel"
There were several La Quinta's to select from in the area. I choose this hotel because it stated Inn and Suites. Was quite disappointed it was not a suite. "Not quite up to par"
Room was supposed to be non-smoking, however it was or has been a smoking room. Although room was clean, hallways in the place needed some serious attention. Staff was efficient and pleasant. We were only stopping overnight for a little sleep to break up trip to Florida. It sufficed for our needs. Was all we could find on short notice. "FINALLY GOT IT RIGHT"
1st room I was issued was clean...changed rooms because the bath tub was dirty. The second room was cleaner, but I almost slipped and fell in the tub because of the slope on the floor of the tub. "Exactly as I needed"
My stay was pleasant. I only needed the room for sleeping at night. The heat and z/c worked very well. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I really like the good water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was very good, too.Verifierad gästrecension

Based on reviews I was expecting much worse, and was pleasantly surprised. My room on the first floor had been renovated and had an HD flat screen and had great HD stations available. The carpet was a little stained but it didn't bother me - i have seen much worse. The hallways could have used a little more vacuuming but no big deal for me. The fitness […] room was small with an eliptical, a small stationary bike, and a treadmill which I used and it worked very well with A/C and a TV in the room. Breakfast was as expected - waffles, some canned fruit, yogurt, some cereals and oatmeal, and breads/bagels/muffins. There was milk, coffee, OJ, and apple juice available. I read the reviews before booking this room for my mother and assumed it was going to be good. Excellent customer service! We had a problem with the air not getting cool enough in our room...they moved us immediately...and we slept in comfort! They are very affordable...comparable to a motel-6, but nicer! The beds were pretty nice for the price, and our room was CLEAN. They have a pet policy and allow pets...but I did NOT see any other signs […] of people staying previously with pets...no hair, no itchy feeling, no spots on the floor. The stairwell was a little dirty...not too bad...but then again, I had two giant dogs with me! A+ for a surprising price! Comparable to a Holiday Inn Express...only cheaper. "You get what you pay for..."
If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay, then this is your place. The upgrades to the rooms from what they were when it was a Baymont Inn have done it some justice, but you get exactly what you pay for.
