We stayed in the hotel 3 nigts friday to monday.The hotel was relativelly expensive. We booked a room for 3 adults and received probably the smallest hotell room they had. We went to Sydney to see a show at the Capitol Theatre - so the location was PERFECT. Good breakfast in dining room. Very handy to all transport and plenty of places to eat all around. Hotel was comfy and suited our needs.

Hotel located near Central Train Station, just a couple of blocks away walking distance. 1-2 blocks away from China Town. I felt safe in this area. Next to Capitol Theater. Walking distance from Cockle Bay. Take the green city buses for free down to Circular Quay!!! They don't run very late though. The location of this hotel is good, close to all attractions and restaurants. But the room rather old.

There is a pub at the hotel and it plays music until 2am. Don't expect to sleep when the music stops until 2am.

The bathroom could be cleaner there was mold on the walls of the shower and the shower curtain needed a good clean or replaced The bed moved every time you sat on it as it was on casters. It's was over priced for one person, as I had to pay for two.

the hotel is renovated hotel dating back to the early 20 century . The rooms are comfortable. breakfast is a generous buffet . Internet options are good . .it is minutes to Chinatown and its own restaurants and bars are good places to hang out .public transport and is nearby and the light rail net work passes by

Place to go if you want a good location for budget price. TV was very old school and had only two channels. Had a bath (small though) is a plus.

Stayed for 7 nights at this hotel. The room was basic but clean, facilities (e.g. television, radio, fittings) are very old but adequate. Front of house staff were friendly and helpful and changed us from a twin bed to singles with no drama. Paid in advance for breakfast which saved money. However, the breakfast service needs attention. The whole dining […] room is run by one young staff member who checks food, clears and resets tables, checks room numbers, liaises with the kitchen etc. On at least half of the mornings we arrived for breakfast there was no hot food left in the serving dishes apart from tinned beans or spaghetti. Whilst the chef was able to cook more food once asked, this should not happen if food levels are being properly monitored. In addition to being annoying, it also wastes guests' time while they wait around for each sort of food to be cooked seperately. Finally, in the breakfast room, old newspapers were left on the counter and not thrown out which is a bad look indeed. For example, on Wednesday morning, the only newspapers available to guests were in fact Monday's. When I mentioned this to the staff member on duty, she straightened the pile of papers but left them there anyway. Again, not a good look. Läs mer

I just did not know that use hotel phone to call local mobile with each conversation less then 2 min call $3.30 even if the other side did not pick up the call not very happy with that, but i guess that is what i get for a low cost hotel

I choose the hotel due to it's location as my girlfriend was over from Ireland and the photo online look good. As we entered the room, As all lady's my girlfriend check the bathroom out. There was poo on the toilet seat. (Not a great impression at all and certainly not one I want to have) Went to the reception our room was changed immediately. Second […] room was fine. We experienced drilling from rooms next to ours first time it was at 9pm. Lasted only a couple of mins. Put it down to something urgently needed to be done. But when it started at 7.06 am on Sunday .. It happen again at around 8am and again at 8.30am. Masonry drill , two short drills then hammering as if they were putting towel racks up! After my call to reception at 7.07am they stated they would stop it. But as listed above they just moved to another room. Check out time was 11am - At 10.13am the maid walked in. No knock just unlocked the door. If you like a good location and don't mind not sleeping or being respected as a customer the Capitol is the hotel for you! Läs mer

My first complaint was the boys military band staying next door to us. They were talking and slamming doors and quietened down when we complained at 11 pm. The other complaint was the thumping band from the hotel on the corner. First we had live music then loud music. This was still going on at 1.30 am which unfortunately we couldn't do anything about. […] It was soccer season and we could hear cheering from the pub as well. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was quite basic (no shower cap, useless fan so the bathroom fogged up) but it was clean enough. The hotel is not fancy, but it is comfortable - the best thing is the location! Absolutely amazing location, Starbucks on one side and the Theatre on the other, Paddy's Markets and China town are two […] streets away, close to restaurants, lots of bars, and only 5 minutes walk from Darling Harbour. While not luxurious, it was safe, clean and the staff were friendly. Definitely worth it just for the location - you are right in the middle of everything! The hotel is conveniently situated near Chinatown and one tram stop away from Central Station, which links with the airport and other major train lines. When checking-in, they will ask for a $100 security deposit if you're paying in cash. If you have a credit card they will only charge you $1 for that. The hotel has a lift to all floors, a breakfast […] room and internet access. The room decor needs modernising and general recorating. It has ironing facilities, fridge and tv, however tv channels are limited and sometimes reception is very bad. The bathroon has a shower, generally well decorated, however be prepared to encounter the odd cockroach during the night. Staff are friendly. The hotel is on the corner of George Street, which if you walk down it for long enough, will take you to Sydney Harbour and the main shopping area. Next to the hotel is a Starbucks, which has outside sitting facilities and good to have breakfast in. Overall, a good location and comfortable enough if you don't intend to stay in your room most of the time. Just be prepared to pay a security deposit on arrival which will be handed back to you when you check-out. Läs mer

This hotel is in an ideal spot right next door to "Wicked" which is why we picked it. I'd only booked a room with twin beds but was pleasantly surprised to have a larger room. My only complaint was that it was on the street right next to the Light Rail Lines so we heard every car that went past all night. We also had a buffet breakfast with a choice […] of continental or hot food which was very cheap. This hotel is in an ideal location close to Chinatown, the Entertainment Centre, George Street and Central Station. I'd stay here again but request a room away from street noise. The parking is ideal priced at $26.00 and I could take my car in and out at my leisure. You just need to get your voucher validated at the hotel and the parking station. Läs mer

We asked for a smoking room (which we expected to have a balcony) and we did get a smoking room, but you basically had to hang your head out of the window. Upon askig for a room with a balcony we were told that they atre not available for guest whom are smokers. The room was quite small, but for what time we spent in there it was fine. The hotel was a disgrace, the hotel staff were rude and the only reason it is as expensive as it is is because of the location which is the only thing that was good. If this Hotel were based in London, New York or Paris it would be 1 star not what I expected from Sydney and it slightly tarred my opinion of the City. Overall shocking stay. The air conditioner would not shut off and the bathroom vent wasn't working properly, made a terrible noise and added to the cold air. Could not get reception to answer the 'phone. Next day got room changed. The room was very small indeed. Carpets dirty. The location was handy to shopping. Consider this hotel poor value for money.

센터랑 거리가 가까습니다. 걸어서 움직이기 편해요. 바로 옆에 차이나타운있고 편함 엘레베이터가 좀 불편했음 어디로 내릴지 모름 침대가 푹신하긴 했는데 다른건 다 무난했음, 특히 머 좋은 것도 없었고 평균에 약간 못 미치는 정도임. 정말 딱 평균 정도 가격은 시드니 센터치고 적절한 편인듯

The service was good. The rooms are very small. The breakfast was good.

Accueil froid, hotesse-dependant, garde des bagages payant, pas d'informations touristiques offertes par les hotesses en dehors des brochures exposees a l'entree. La reception des chaines TV ne marche pas bien. Sinon, chambre propre, petit dejeuner cher mais un starbuck cafe juste en dessous. Parking gratuit les 30 premieres min seulement
