Trevligt hotel med bra läge. Restauranger och barer i närområdet. Nära till Mag Mile och beachen.

Vi kan bara varmt rekommendera detta fina och små lyxiga hotell i Chicagos finaste kvarter. Jätte trevlig personal med mycket fint bemötande. Fina och frächa rum med moderna badrum. Trevliga resturanger med uteserveringar i kvarteret och närhet till shopping och badstrand. Här bor vi gärna igen!!

Detta hotell ligger vid första anblick lite avsides men faktum är att hotellet är relativt centralt. Magnificent mile börjar i närheten och man kan gå till centrum. Det finns också tunnelbana som fungerar utmärkt. Hotellet ligger nära ett antal restauranger som ofta är välbesökta. Verkar vara ett populärt område att gå ut och äta i. wonderful hotel very clean everyone was very freindly room was clean and comfortable, would have liked nicer pillows and the bathroom was very dated the neighborhood was great the pancake house across the street was awesome

In terms of Chicago, you can't pick a better location. Right off've Michigan Avenue, near Oak Street and right on the "Viagra Triangle". My room was clean and comfortable with a good view. The decor is a little dated - late 80's / early 90's but would have been the height of luxury then. It was also not shabby at all.

Didn't like the fact that the only restaurant was the Whiskey Bar... not great food there. Also, the hotel staff were a little short handed... pillows are TERRIBLE.. my kids could not sleep.. very uncomfortable. Also couldn't adjust the air/heat in the room... we didn't have a TV remote control either.. had to call for one. Probably will not stay there […] again. Läs mer

Premium-quality king room at a much better rate than nearby high-end properties. Easy to get in and out, morning and evening. Plenty of service, well staffed. Good bar and restaurant attached to the hotel. I like the full stereo system in the room and the full stand-up shower next to the large bathtub.

The Hotel employees are tremendously helpful and polite. Especially the porters, valet parking guys very helpful. Concierge was also knowledgeable about local attractions plus extraordinarily helpful. We were thoroughly disappointment on our arrival “Saturday March 3rd approximately 10am” with the lady at the reception desk. Couldn't ask for a better location, bars, restaurants and shopping all very close by. One negative (although its not a biggie) was that there was no in room coffee maker and they charged us for a cup. Great staff and the bed was excellent, really didn't need to wander far from the hotel.

Every facet of our stay, Feb 24-27, was excellent. The hotel room, Deluxe Executive corner room on 21st floor with generous, furnished balcony was unbelievable for the rate and the city. Hotel staff was very courteous and competent. Room service was timely and delicious. We prefer coffee makers in room, but the service for both coffee and ice was prompt. […] We had a city view but could still see the lake. The neighborhood is charming and very convenient to Michigan Avenue shopping. I will definitely consider this property again, as long as one of those corner rooms is available at such a decent rate. I stayed at this hotel to attend a workshop at the Newberry Library. It's convenient to many popular Chicago tourist attractions, particularly Michigan Ave shopping, as well as the Newberry itself. The staff was very accommodating, the room was lovely and had a great view (17th floor!), and the price was right as it was the middle of winter. Excellent location to shopping and restaurants! Clean and comfortable too! Would definately stay there again.

Nice time. hotel was in a very convenient place to shop and eat, etc. room had a great view of the city, but it was a little "cramped". Overall I would recommend this hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great location! Great room! Great hotel!

The hotel itself is good with clean rooms and a decent location, but I have not seen a staff who seemed not care that you were actually a guest in their hotel. This experience made the hotel overpriced and never to be recommended.

The hotel is nicely located, within walking distance, from the Magnificent Mile. Though views from the hotel we somewhat blocked. You can see a tiny sliver of Lake Michigan, from our "lake view" room. The bathrooms are a bit dated, with chips on some of the faucet fixtures — though the shower head is phenomenal performer.

The Sutton Place Hotel is really charming. It is in a great location, well maintained and has attentive staff. We were pleasantly surprised how comfortable and quiet the rooms are. I highly recommend it.

We had a very nice stay. The only thing that was less than perfect was that one window handle was broken. So the window would not seal shut. We mentioned it at the desk, but I think the whole window needs to be replaced so it wasn't an easy fix. Had we not upacked everything before noticing, I would have asked to be moved to another room. As a subscriber to Lyric Opera for over a decade, I have stayed in many fine hotels, and have come to prefer the Sutton Place by far as my first choice and favorite. Everything about it is top drawer- staff, rooms (esp. bathrooms!), service, neighborhood, and sundry intangibles make each stay a delight

very wonderful service and employees. i enjoyed this more than any other stays in chicago except it's to cold for me.

eat at Gibsons next door

i felt very comfortable with this hotel and the people that work there, service was excellent from the desk to the guy outside getting you a cab. my only complaint was that chicago is very cold and a windy city, i'm from florida. i will always go to this hotel in the future it has been my favorite over the thirty years i have been going there

This is a nice hotel in a great location if you're in Chicago to luxury shop, in really good neighborhood with lots of restaurants. The staff was very attentive.

The staff is very pleasant and very customer service oriented. I loved the bathroom. The room was well kept and clean. The room service staff was especially friendly and willing to help out in anyway. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in a upscale neighborhood hotel.

The hotel has alot of little extras that mean a lot. The staff was courteous and very helpful. I will continue to stay there for my work assignment in Chicago.

The Sutton Place is showing its age. Bathroom tiles broken, needs painting, generally ok, but considering this is a premium hotel in the Gold Coast I expected more. I was also quite surprised by the $45.00 per night parking charge, 6.00 bottle of complimentary water, ect. If I would have known, I would have made alternate arrangements. I would rather […] pay more for the room and know in advanced than to be charged ridiculously for miscellaneous fees.
