Hotell Hyatt Place Seacaucus/Meadowlands - Secaucus

Ett bra hotell om man vill bo billigt. Gratis frukost och internet var något vi uppskattade. Bussenhållplatsen till NYC ligger intill hotellet och tog oss dit på ca 15 minuter. Vi hade rum intill hissarna och de väsnades en del. Vi rekommenderar hotellet.

Det var ett bra hotell för oss, som är en familj med 5 personer. Det är inte alltid så lätt att hitta bra lösningar när man är fler än 4. Rummen var små sviter, med en stor tv och ett plus för kylskåpet och kaffebryggare på rummet. Frukosten var också bra, generös och med mycket färsk frukt. En negativ sak inträffade. Vi skulle ut och var stressade, […] och en av oss behövde äta efter en tidig frukost och en mils löpning. Vi beställde en smörgås, som inte kom. Efter tjugo minuters vänta, sa vill till personalen och fick ett ganska otrevligt svar tillbaks om att den var på väg. Jag bad att de skulle gå ut i köket och kolla om den verkligen var på gång. Motvilligt gick den jag pratade ut och kom tillbaks och sa, fortfarande lite otrevligt, att det var den minsann. Efter att ha väntat en halvtimma med blodsockret på bottennivå och barnen rastlösa runt omkring, frågade jag igen. Då visade sig att någon annan hade fått smörgåsen. Detta hotell är perfekt om man vill bo billigt i N Y. Bussen in till Manhattan tar ungefär 15 min, den går ofta och hållplatsen är utanför porten. Personalen är trevlig och frukosten är helt OK. Rummen är stora och fräscha. Rekommenderar gärna detta hotell. Recension från 2 personer i 60-årsåldern.

Bodde här 3 nätter med familj (medelstora barn) som bas för att beöka New York. Valde hotellet dels för att vi fick plats alla fem, dels för att flera andra recensenter skrivit att det är enkelt att ta sig till Manhattan från Secaucus. Detta kan vi skriva under på. New York City är en otroligt häftig plats, men efter några timmar blir man alldeles utmattad av alla starka intryck, den enorma energin och det höga tempot. Hyatt Place Hotel var för oss en lugn oas där vi kunde koppla av och ladda om för att sedan vända tillbaka till den mänskliga myrstacken Manhattan. Hotellet är rent, tyst och lugnt, frukosten är […] bra med mycket att välja mellan och personalen vänlig och hjälpsam. Hotellet ligger i en förort till New Jersey City där det bara finns hotell, parkeringsplatser och några restauranter. Man åker dit på 25 minuter med buss 320 från Port Authority Bus Station på 42 gatan. Det enda negativa var att vi fastnade i fredagsrusningen och att busstationen på Manhattan var extremt förvirrande första gången. Läs mer

I have stayed at many of the hotels in Secaucus Meadowlands and Hyatt is by far my favorite. The rooms are large and comfortable, they offer complimentary wifi and HBO and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. I love that you can grab the 320 bus right outside of the hotel and quickly get into the city but then come back to a space that is […] a little less hectic to get some rest. Stayed here prior to cruise departure in Manhattan. The price was excellent, the hotel and staff were top notch and the free breakfast was a nice touch. Would stay here again.

Overall it is a good hotel. lncluded breakfast can be improved.

Good place to stayed, the only thing I am not aggree with breakfast area. I came to breakfast during big group over 50 of students seating all over the dinning area which suppost to have them sit in side the private room and have there all breakfast. Nice staffs and clean hotel.

Clean, inviting and within walking distance of everything. Shopping, resturaunts, and transit bus all very close. Breakfast that was offered very nice and provided ample food. Perfect place to stay if your visiting both New Jersey or New York.

If you want to know how it is to sleep beneath a roller coaster, consider staying at this hotel in a room near the elevator, I could not sleep because the noise of the elevator. If you are tired find another hotel. Next day I tried to speak with the manager but he wasn't there.

The hotel was very clean and Always smelled so good in the lobby. The rooms were just as pictured and access to NY was pretty easy. The front desk staff was great and attentive! We will be back.

Excellent location for anyone lokking to go to NYC. The bus picks you up right outside of the hotel and its cheap. Great rooms but do not get one near the elevator. It was very noisy and I couldn't sleep. If not for the elevator noise I would have given a perfect rating.

This is a good quality hotel in New Jersey next to the exhibition hall. If you are visiting NYC then there is a bus 320, that stops right outside every 15 mins. It takes you right to 42nd street in just 15 mins and is under $8 rtn. Could do with more and milk in the room along with a kettle rather than a coffee machine.

My family and I were in dire need of a break from NYC. The commute of less than 20 minutes was refreshing. The reservation and check-in process was convenient and simple. The exemplary customer service and complimentary shuttle made us feel as though we were royalty during our stay. It was very close to ny. Their shudlle took us to the rail line that took us to the statue of libery ferry. The bus from the port authority took us to the door of the hyatt. Next day took the bus right back to nyc. The staff was very helpful. We rented a movie and it kept losing singal so they removed it from our bill. The room was amazing! Very clean […] and tons of room for my family of 5. 2 full sized beds plus a sleeper sofa. Next time I go back to nyc I will be staying there again! The made to order food was good too. this is our second visit to Hyatt Place and will definitlybe back again there is a cinema and plenty of eating places within walking distance(5mins)

My motor coach company uses this hotel for our drivers whenever we have groups that travel to the New York city area. The parking for the coaches is great and the hotel is very nice. The area allows our drivers to walk to a number of different restuarants because they can't move the coach easily. We will continue to use this hotel whenever we travel […] to NYC. Läs mer

Close to restaurants and shopping. The express bus to NYC stops right outside the hotel. Clean, quiet, free parking, great staff. Beautiful rooms and comfortable beds. Cheaper and more convenient than staying in Manhattan. I will stay here whenever I go to NYC.

What a wonderful hotel and the staff, they couldnt do enough to help us. The hotel shuttle bus was great for getting around the surrounding shops, walmart and Union city bus stop for Jersey Gardens.

We went to NYC for a long weekend (stayed Thursday night through Sunday.) We opted to stay in NJ because the rates on Time Square or really anywhere in The City were so high and were very happy with our decision. We had a huge amount of space in our rooms, king size beds and continental breakfast each morning. The NJ Transit 320 bus makes a stop right […] outside the hotel lobby and takes you into The City in about 15 minutes (if there is no traffic.) It did take closer to 45 minutes at times. It drops you off at Port Authority and there is a subway station right there to get you where ever you want to go. Definitely worth the commute for the savings. Läs mer

The rooms at this hotel are probably one of the nicest rooms that we have stayed in for the price that we paid. I would definitely stay there again.

Bus to NY across the street from the hotel (very convenient)!

The best thing about this hotel is the surrounding shops, restaurants and a walmart which is walking distance. 320 NJ Bus to Port Authority in NY only 20 mins ride for $3.95. Recommended.

We enjoyed the fact that if you go by car to visit NYC but you don't want to drive in the city, you can leave your car at this hotel for no extra charge. Plus you can take the bus to NYC very close to the hotel, and it brings you to NY 42th st/8th av in 15 min (you have to pay for the bus, but not very expensive). So the situation is very good. Great place to base a trip to NYC when you need to have some elbow room. The bus stop couldn't be more convenient. It's bus #320, across the street to NYC, and leaves fom gate #231 on the return from Port Authority. Less than $25 round trip for 4 people. The room was clean & comfortable, and there are restaurants within easy walking distance.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were very nice and the room was clean. The beds we extremely comfortable. Even getting to New York City was a piece of cake (about 15-20 minutes on the 320). Good pick and I'd highly recommend it to others.

we were welcomed with a friendly and helpfull staff. We indeed enjoyed our stay and would recommend any of my family members or friends to visit this place. First place I stay at who has a decent breakfast bar with plenty of choices for one to choose and have a good breakfast in the morning before venturing out to nearby New York. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room :) would definitely go back!

Very convienently located. Great staff that help us navigate traveling into NYC using public transportation. The continental breakfast was perfect for us. Our room was next to an elevator so our room was not very quiet although the noise was not bad enough to keep us awake.

The Hyatt was a perfect location for getting in and out of New York City quickly. The hotel staff were very helpful in giving us suggestions and directions for our trip into the city. It was helpful to be able to eat a nice breakfast before heading out for the day. We would stay here again.

Comfortable room, very convenient to NYC. Great widescreen HD TV in room. Very convenient to restaurants and stores.

Rest there more then a week and it was perfect choise. Hotel service is perfect, rooms are confortable, clean,bad should be harder but in general ok. I would definitelly recomend this hotel to all my friends. Hotels shuttle bus will take everywhere within 2 miles, perfect to go Secacus Junction train station to avoid morning rush...

The hotel was very clean and comfortable as well as the complimentary breakfast was good, the personnel was extremely helpful and the bus to NYC stops right by the back door of the hotel and runs often.

The Hyatt Place Secaucus has a very convenient location to Manhattan. There is a bus stop practically right outside the door and you can be in Times Square in about 20 minutes. The staff was exceptionally helpful in telling us how to get to New York and back. Kai was really nice and helpful. The front desk staff is very friendly. Location of the hotel is perfect, bus stop is just outside the back door. Restaurants and shopping center are surrounded. Room is spacious, the fan in the bathroom is so loud, the carpet smell bad.

Great hotel with friendly staff and convenient transport to NYC. Very nice clean location near restaurants, ATM, Starbucks. The free parking and internet were great. Some minor items. The carpets were not quite clean in the rooms and found the bathroom was small. The A/C was loud and you could hear some trucks outside on our side.

We are a family of 5 people so hotels in New York were not possible unless we booked 2 rooms per night which cost too much. This hotel has a bus that stops right in front and takes you too New York downtown every day/every 15 mins so that was Great. It cost extra, for our 5 people $40 return each day. 1. Excellent and helpful staff 2. Brilliant proximity to transport- bus stops etc to help you get into New York 3. Excellent shuttle service but be sure to tip the driver every time as this goes a long way. 4 If you like a good breakfast then be sure to get up early around 6.30-7.00am to get a good selection of stuff. 5.There was a peculiar smell as […] you enter the hotel which did not disappear, remained whenever we returned. 6. Hotel bar and food was pricey and would do well if it was cheap 7. Rooms would be better if they were tiled and not carpeted as the carpets looked tired.
