Located at the corner of Market and Deansgate, this hotel puts you smack in the middle of shopping, dining, and entertainment, all hallmarks of Manchester City Center. The room is unusually large for the UK, with a KING BED (very rare)! The bathroom was spacious, though not as pristine as you might expect from the Renaissance brand. For a city centre hotel our room was a lot larger than expected with 2 double beds. The breakfast was lovely and the valet parking for £14 was a great hassle free way to get your car parked in the city. Staff were very helpful and friendly and I would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to stay in the heart of the city centre.

From the outside the hotel doesnt look much but enter and everything is of a very good quality. Friendly reception staff and the room we stayed in was excellent and spacious. and it is so close to the Arndale Shopping centre and The Printworks etc. I would definitely book again

Nice big room and very comfortable king bed. Slept very well and room was quiet. We liked the larger room, but did not need it. One downside is that breakfast prices looked a bit expensive, but there are lots of places nearby to nip out for a coffee etc. If we're coming back to Manchester for gigs etc would stay there again!

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Close to shops and restaurants.

Lovely reception, staff very helpful, food was good. We stayed on the 1st floor in a suite, which was or had been a smoking room (which me and my partner are non smokers) the smell of smoke in the room made everything else smell and the room needed updating. It wasnt the cleanist of rooms I had stayed in, there was a stain on the bed spread.

From the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out, everything was excellent. The receptionist was extremely pleasant, room was very nice and breakfast next morning wa very good and the staff very friendly and efficient. Hotel is perfectly placed for concerts at the MEN and is central enough to visit other areas of interest. Hotel was of a good standard throughout, only gripe is the parking arrangements which are not obvious when you approach the hotel. Suggest you use the parking immediately to the left of the hotel which is slightly more expensive than the hotels. […] Overall I would certainly recommend this hotel for concert goers as it is only a 5 minute walk to the MEN. A large modern hotel. Reception service not impressive. Room as expected, comfortable and well equipped. With 13 floors needs more lifts (one went out of action). service ok but staff don't go the extra mile. Good location off Deansgate (although they are digging it up at the moment!).

A top notch hotel, our rooms had a sofa coffee table and desk which weren't mentioned when booking. Very impressed, staff were efficient and polite. The position of the hotel is right in the centre easy to get to and great for a night out.

The hotel is nice overall, however, nothing really stood out from any other hotels such as Premier Inn and Travelodge. Our main unhappiness was at check in. We were advised that check in time was 3pm and arrived at 2:55pm to be told that they were extreemely busy, were not expecting as many guests and didnt have our room ready yet. Our visit was for […] the Oasis concert so I would have presumed that with such an event happening, and the fact that bookings are made in advance, they would have known how many guests would be arriving and had the relevant staff available. First Impression was probably about 3star or less - walked inside - it was lovely - staff are friendly - room was nice and spacious - the bed was sooo comfortable - good nights sleep - only stayed one night due to a concert at M.E.N - 5 mins walk away - breakfast was really nice - would definatly stay again.

Hotellet anbefales på det varmeste. STORE rom, perfekt beliggenhet . Eneste litt negative var frokosten som godt kunne bydd på itt kontinetal frokost med f.eks skinke og ost. Uitstekende ligging. Op 5 a 10 minuten wandelen van het shopping gedeelte van de stad. 15 a 20 minuten wandelen van Town Hall. Ideale uitvalsbasis om Manchester te verkennen en in een veiligere buurt waar ook veel taxi's passeren. Vanaf luchthaven wel een taxi nemen want het hotel ligt aan de noordkant van de stad dus de tegengestelde richting van waar […] de stations liggen. Kamer was netjes, klassiek ingericht. Het is geen designhotel maar gewoon degelijk. Je betaalt voor de ligging. Internettoegang is zoals in zowat elk hotel betalend. Op verkenning door Manchester ook andere hoetels tegengekomen waarmee ik dit hotel vergeleken had en toch tevreden dat ik voor het Rennaissance hotel gekozen had. Läs mer

Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt til i Manchester, 15 min fra togstasjon, har gode shoppingmuligheter i nærheten, samt spisesteder og uteliv. Perfekt for lang weekend med shopping, bytur,og fotballkamp på Old Trafford som var hovedgrunnen til at vi var her og bodde på dette hotellet!

Hotellet ligger meget sentralt, har store, flotte rom og betjeningen var veldig hyggelig. Vi er ypperst fornøyd, og kommer absolutt til å velge dette hotellet neste gang vi reiser til Manchester.

Hotell med sentral beliggenhet og store flotte rom.Meget god service fra betjeningen og en flott frokostbuffet.

Ich war rundum zufrieden!

Hotel a escasos metros de la catedral. Habitaciones hermosas y muy limpias. El desayuno muy bueno. Recomeindo el pub Oyster, justo al lado de la catedral , para la cerveza, y el restaurante Old Wellintong, junto al Oyster, para cenar. Buen precio y buena comida.

Dette hotellet kan jeg absolutt anbefale. Vi var der fra fredag til mandag for å se premier league kamp, og det var perfekt til dette formål. Bra beliggenhet, store rom og bra standard. Det er midt i sentrum, men er rolig på natten. Trivelig betjening som er behjelpelig hvis det skulle være noe. En langweend for far og sønn på fotball- og handletur til Manchester. Hotellet hadde en meget gunstig plassering i sentrum med nærhet til det som er interessant i Manchester. Liten avstand til alle typer kommunikasjon. Vi fikk et stort og rent rom i 5 etg. med 2 store og veldig gode senger. Frokosten var i god engelsk tradisjon og var en fin start på […] lange dager ute. Vi reiste 5 jenter på shoppingtur sist helg, og kunne ikke valgt et bedre hotell. Super betjening i resepsjonen, som anbefalte oss helt supre restauranter, ordnet reservasjoner mv. Fikk 2 store fine rom med dør i mellom, hvilket var perfekt for en sosial og skravlete gjeng som oss. Store gode senger, ordentlige dyner. Litt dumt at det ikke var minibar […] på rommene, og at kjøleskap eventuelt måtte leies. Vi hadde ikke frokost inkludert, så prøvde ikke maten på hotellet. Hotellets beliggenhet var helt perfekt i forhold til shopping, restaturanter og uteliv. Bl.a lå det store Arndale Shoppingcentre i umiddelbar nærhet. Kan anbefales! Läs mer

First I must warn you not to judge this hotel by the looks of its exterior. Once you get inside you will meet a very friendly staff and the rooms are spacious and comfy. I must warn you though that they will charge you extra for breakfast allthough you have allready paid for it.
