The staff were very friendly and helpful. We needed extra wine glasses in our room, which were provided instantly, and they even opened our wine for us. The room was a good size fo rthe rate, with very easy access to where the car was parked, making transfer of luggage a simple task.

The room and beds were very comfortable. HOWEVER, because either Hotels.com or Courtyard did not enter our PREPAID reservation correctly, It took us 25 minutes to check in (this was at midnight, with a child) because the hotel would not check us in without payment. We are still pretty unhappy about that. We only booked a room to get a good night's sleep […] and one of us had to be up and out the door by 7:30 am . . . Läs mer

Upon arrival there was a security deposit not told to me upon booking the hotel and paying for it that they just took off my credit card without then argued with me when i stated that to them telling them that i have a set budget me that threw my planned budget and spoiled my trip the pool was closed and the customer service sucked the day I arrived […] the room service never came to clean the room I cleaned my own room after I purposely ask house keeping to clean the room was told they would be there in 30 min so I left the hotel and when I came back room was in the same condition I left no fresh towels just not happy then the darn security kept nocking saying there was noise complaints and here I am sleep every time he nocked just say ill never book there again Läs mer

Great hotel. Security seems to have a power trip. Make sure not to talk too loud in the halls. Not the friendliest security team. Overall a nice stay.

Husband and I enjoyed our stay immensely! We were celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Went to two Concerts over the weekend... 25 minutes to Downtown Detroit , Fox Theater and about that same to Auburn Hills, Palace. Hotel Staff were very friendly. Our housekeeper, was so very sweet and did an excellent job! Definitely would stay again :)

We stayed here for one night just to get away for a change. It was super clean, the staff was courteous and helpful, and the bed was SUPER comfortable. The only downside was there was no fridge, so we had to fill the ice bucket to keep stuff cold, which isn't a big deal, but it would have been easier with one. They also have a cafe in the lobby where […] you can get food , coffee and even cocktails! They also sell bottles of wine and champagne.There aren't many TV channels and no PPV, but the ones they have are good. The pool is awesome, and open til' 11pm which is nice. Newly updated which is very nice. Loved the Bistro and all the staff. We ate in front of the fireplace and big screen. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Lots people in hottub/pool when we were there but they do offer an adult only time. Great late checkout. Diffinately go back there!

We got two rooms for a night to visit some friends in Royal Oak. The hotel was recently renovated and was beautiful! The rooms were modern, clean and spacious.

This hotel was undergoing major renovations that we were not made aware of. It didn't affect our stay and I'll be curious to see how it looks when it's done. The breakfast included with our room was a good deal with the server very courteous and helpful.

I stayed here prior to a family event. There were renovations going on but you could not hear them in the room. I picked this hotel primarily for the hot tub/spa service. It definitely met my needs. Overall a great facility, easy check in/check out.

very clean, quiet and comfortable. The evening staff at check in were most accomodating in making sure my family was accomodated in appropriate rooms and with meeting our needs. It looked newlly renovated and it was superb.

The hotel is under construction. I was not made aware of this situation when I booked the reservations. The rooms are clean and refreshed, but the hallway was not ready for customers to use. It was dusty during the day because the construction was on going. Terrible situation. They should temporarily shut down the hotel the contruction is done.

Should have known it was under renovation. Thought we would not be charged for breakfast, we were. When we complained, we were told to contact the manager, who was not going to be back for two days! Great beds. Nice room - hotel is undergoing updating but we were put in an updated room and had no conflicts with the contruction. Exercise room was perfect! The only comment I have is it would be nice to have a mirror somewhere in the room besides the bathroom. It was a little tricky with 3 ladies trying to put makeup on at the same time!!! The room looked as if it had just been part of the renovation project, except for the bathroom. The bathroom was clean, but the tile grout was cracked and the tub chipped and sealed to the wall with wide, messy silicon caulk. Maybe the baths haven't been done yet?

Hotel staff was friendly, curtious and helpful. The faculities were on par or better then excepted. The towels provided at the pool were much better quality then those offered at other hotel chains. I would definitely say at this hotel in the future.

Usually Marriott Courtyards are top of the line of middle level hotels but this is the second time I've stayed in one this summer and I have to say if I had to do it again, I would've chosen a Hampton Inn (same price in this market). Nothing exemplary; everything was just okay.

I would recommend this hotel. There is a nice courtyard and the pool was a good size. There will lots of familes at the hotel.

Overall, this is a decent hotel. Very basic. Though I was in for a business trip, I noticed many families staying there also (though not disruptive, or too loud). They had a swimming pool that I did not use, but saw alot of people walking towards it constantly in swimsuits. This was a very basic hotel. Nothing fancy, but clean and decent. The hotel was as I had expected it. It was a middle of the road hotel, not low class, not high class. It was nice that it included an indoor pool and work out facilities for the price paid. It could use some remodeling updates, but overall nice. The staff we interacted with were extremely friendly.

Stayed here over a weekend for a wedding that was nearby. Location is perfect, parking is easy and plentiful. Having a back entrance (with key card access) is convenient as well if your room is near the backside of the hotel. We were also able to buy wine and beer directly from the front desk, saving us the time of finding a party store. In addition, […] we were able to get a bottle of wine at 10:30pm on Sunday night which was after the stores in the area had closed. It was marked up, but was very convenient and they provided wine glasses and a corkscrew for us to leave in our room. Everything was clean and tidy. The only thing that was a little odd was finding a random sock that was not ours near the wall on the wall side of the bed. Easy for cleaning people to overlook and we only spotted it because of doing a thorough job of making sure we had everything before we left. Läs mer

Our stay was very pleasant overall... No issues encountered, and the staff was very friendly... For $10 more per night, we got the free breakfast, and it was well worth it...
