Hotellet, Lodge, tycker jag var trivsamt i inredning och comfort på i rummet. Personalen i Receptionen, Resaurant och Bar var trevlig och gav utmärkt service. Fin inredning i de gemensamma utrymmena och rummen. Det kändes mysigt! Läget var utmärkt och god tillgång till sevärdheter. Bra taxiservice med hjälp av Receptionen. God mat och frukost!

This was my second stay at the hotel. It is conveniently located and the rooms are comfortable. The bed was a little soft, but fine. It isn't a luxury hotel, but is clean and a good base for a stay in Cape Town, especially if you're going to be out all day. Internet is not included, so you have to buy vouchers. Parking is available for a charge. The […] staff is friendly and helpful. We got the room only rate so I cannot comment on the food there. Our biggest complaint is how slow the elevator is. I spent 9 days at this hotel in a loft suite, which was practically a one bedroom apartment, complete with brand new stainless steel appliances on the kitchen. It even came with a washer/dryer which was very convenient for someone spending so much time there and a big saving not having to use the hotel laundry services. The only negative was the breakfast, […] which was completely adequate by "hotel buffet breakfast" standards, There are a ton of much nicer places in the neighborhood (especially on Long Street) which are much better options and very reasonably priced. If I had to do it again (which I most likely will next time I'm in Cape Town) I would opt out of the "breakfast included" rate and just have breakfast outside of the hotel as I only had breakfast once in the hotel, thus was a waste of money to pay for the other 8 days. Nevertheless, a great hotel, wonderful room, quaint little pool on the 9th floor and a somewhat adequate gym as far as hotel gyms go. Läs mer

Great hotel, clean, good location, comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff, they helped us with an adapter since they only have SA plugs in the room. Do yourself a favor though and don't go to the hotel restaurant, it's the only disappointing meal I've ever had in South Africa... Totally recommend this hotel!

I often stay at the Cape Town Lodge. Location is super-convenient if you have a car, rooms are decently priced, and I must have dinner at the hotel's wonderful restaurant at least once. I will keep my business with Cape town Lodge - it's the most value-for-money/convenient hotel in downtown Cape town. You can't go wrong.

Good value at this hotel. Our room had everything we needed (fridge, kettle, comfortable bed, even a full bathtub!) and was clean and well-maintained. All of the staff were helpful and pleasant, particularly at the front desk.

The hotel proved excellent value and good location, the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The cleanliness of the room was exemplary and appeared to have fresh bed linnen and towels each day. Overall a good experience - staff were friendly (for the most part), and the hotel and rooms were of a good standard. However the was a charge for wifi - and the service demanded that I re-login with password every time the connection was interrupted - very annoying for users who like to stay connected.

A very buzzy, entertaining city with lots to do and very good value for money. The best way we found to travel was by the red and blue route hop on/hop off buses. In ear headphones inform about the locations and access to everywhere is easy. Staff are very helpful and it is very safe. An important thing to note is that, in peak season, everywhere needs […] to be booked in advance, even restaurants. We missed out on a visit to Robben Island because they were booked up days in advance. We wanted to have high tea at The Mount Nelson hotel but couldn't as it was booked for the duration of our stay. But everywhere is spotlessly clean and extremely good value for money. The V+A Waterfront is a nice way to spend a few hours with plenty of shops and eateries overlooking the harbour. Table Mountain is a must to see as well as The Castle of Good Hope. The botanical gardens are beautiful too. Also a drive towards Cape Point at Boulders Beach is a lovely drive and a unique opportunity to see a colony of penguins in their natural habitat. Läs mer

Honestly, this hotel didn't look like much from the outside but we were pleasantly surprised by the condition of our room. The room was very clean and well kept, it was a very large room, nice king size bed. The bathroom was immaculate with a wonderfully large soaking tub. The location of the hotel seems to be a little shady at first, but I don't think it really was. It is very convenient for access to the city and waterfront. Parking was secure and reasonably priced. The breakfast was excellent. Our room was comfortable, it was nice to have air-con.

The hotel location is excellent, the shape of rooms is not ideal, the swimming pool is very small and does not qualify to called one. It is about 2.5 metres by 2metres. We stayed over for 3 nights and the stay was very pleasant. The night staffs were very friendly as well. My only concern was the parking facility. I have an SUV and found the parking bays, especially if you need to park on the upper level. I think that the parking fee per day should be in the hotels description up front before you make the booking. […] Just note that by paying this you are not guaranteed a parking space. Staff are courteous. There's a nice restaurant on the ground level - Butcher's Grill. The hotel is conveniently located a few minutes drive away from the Waterfront. The hotel has parking, a gym, and a small swimming pool. The parking is available on 2 levels. The second level can only be reached by driving up an extremely steep hill. If you don’t […] feel up to it, the staff will drive it up for you. Once up there, there is no lift or other pedestrian access to get down - you’ll have to walk down the steep driveway, which has only a wall to hold onto. Alternatively, you may get lucky if the building maintenance staff have unlocked a door on that level. The hotel staff don’t have access to these doors, and can’t unlock it for you. There's a double-parking system on the ground floor. Parking is first come first served. The only negative thing about my experience at the hotel is that although there are no smoking signs up everywhere, a strong smell of cigarette smoke permeates the reception area. It may be that the bar allows smoking, or perhaps some rooms allow smoking. As a result, our room had an odor of smoke in it. This was unpleasant, but I got used to it. I didn't bother to change rooms as we were there for a few days only. The room itself was spacious; our room had a nice view of District Six and the mountain. Hotel is well situated far from a 4 star in several areas. First , we paid top dollar; the first room was far from commensurate with price and supposed description - it was awkwardly long, had a small bathroom right beside the door,a far distance from the bed; a strange configuration, the TV was in the center and you really could not see it straight […] on or watch it. There were 2 less chairs in front of the TV but hard to enjoy. Only benefit was a partial view of the Mountain. I called reception;we were given another room, but it was on the inner side facing a courtyard, so no privacy at all, very little right light. While the room was decent, its other features were a big deterrent - if you opened the blinds, other guests could see right in, both on same level and above, and the lack of light made it hard want to be there. In addition, the manager was unfriendly offering painful excuses, saying every room was the same and no other choices - which was untrue as we saw when we could observe the other rooms during our stay. Other drawbacks:no free WIFI. We had to purchase cards for WIFI ,grossly overpriced and instructions were misleading so your card running out without knowing- bad set uo, took a long time to get online. We ended up paying huge for WIFI, had to use internet cafes and a friend's room at the Hilton across the street where WIFI is free. Manager again was offensive. My advice: stay at the Hilton r elsewhere; I'd give this hotel a huge pass. Läs mer

Its and okay hotel, and its away from all the big noise from the city center, and still is close to everything. It also have a nice restaurant and very nice bar inside. Good staff to always have you going with the hotel bus, to everywhere you want to go.

It was very nice and the rooms were excellent from a decor perspective! The service level was fair but attitude could be improved on! We found it odd that we had to pay R60 a day for parking! Overall a good experience!
