Jag hade en mycket trevlig semester vecka i Houston tack vara en underbar personal på hotellet som var mycket hjälpsamma ... jag kommer att använda det hotellet fler gånger... jag hade ett club rum, det var inte stort men fyllde mina behov .. rent och helt och trevlig atmosfär :)

We had a very pleasant stay here, nice and clean hotel with good service. Excellent breakfast. Roof top pool. Surroundings not much to see, but probably as good as it gets in Houston.

Är mycket nöjd med hotellet, det vi inte är helt nöjda med är sängen, vi fick ont i ryggen av den. Vi bodde här i 10 nätter och de sista 4-5 morgnarna hade vi väldigt ont i ryggen. Vi fick frukost, suveränt bra, men det blev lite tråkigt eftersom den enda variationen var att det antingen var färskorvar eller så var det papperstorrt bacon till de konstiga plättarna. Men vi är svenskar med betydligt större krav på vad vi stoppar i oss till frukost än vad amerikanen är som äter scones med gravy till frukost. Är däremot missnöjd med parkeringsplatserna, de räckte inte till. Kom man sent på kvällen var alla platser upptagna bland annat av stora lastbilar som stod i gångarna mellan parkeringsplatser och utanför entrén.

The statement "that is what to expect for the price" doesn't apply at all. Keeping the room prices at the level the are, - it is a motel at a busy intersection after all- , doesn't mean they should skip on all maintenance and upkeep. "EEK - MINUS STARS"
When I arrived - the hotel - sorry MOTEL put me in a room off the pool I walked in and the room smelled like a mix between an ashtray and the toilet - I am a NONSMOKER and had requested a NONSMOKING Room with a Kingsize bed...once I got beyond the SMELL I noticed the room had 2 double beds and the toilet was in a continual run mode. Went back to the […] office, sorry Hotels.com booked the double bed for you and you have to call them to sort it out, I showed my confirmation from the booking and it said KING Size NON SMOKING. I called the 800 number to get the booking company to sort it out with the motel this was eventually done but unfortunately by the time this is all sorted out I am NOW late for the wedding I was going to. When the clerk finally gave me the new room key she said that I had been double charged for the room and I would need to sort that out with the booking company. SERIOUSLY what is the problem here. I go to the new room to change because now I am officially late. Get to the room is all I am thinking, the stairwell going up to the 2nd floor for this room is padlocked so I have to go back down and around the building, back up another set of stairs and down to the room FINALLY, open door King Size bed, smells musty and the toilet is running...SUPER no time to fight this anylonger have to get changed and on the road. "Good bang for the buck"
Rating based on the cost of the room vs all else. The location in Alvin is conveniently on the main drag through town at an intersection. There is a nicely landscaped swimming pool. "Wishing"
The hot water handle fell off in the tub/shower. The ceiling was peeling off in the shower. There were stains in the tub resembling poo. The area behind the sink was peeling. The floor was sticky. "Needs Major Repair"
The hotel was very run-down. There has been little to no upkeep on the building. The carpet was dirty, the walls cracked, the bathroom door had major peeling paint, the bathtub drain was corroded, and the pool was green. The only redeeming quality was the building did seem free of bugs. I actually saw an exterminator making rounds. They advertised […] a full breakfast from 5-9 am, but by 7:45 they had run out of milk and juice. All they offered was dry cereal (they had no milk), bread for toasting, and do it yourself waffles. "BUGS, BEER BOTTLES, STOPPED UP TOILET, POOL CLOSED"
THE FIRST TWO NIGHTS PEOPLE OUTSIDE WERE GRILLING AND DRINKING. THE ROACHES AND SILVERFISH ETC WERE LESS BY FAR AFTER WE COMPLAINED. THE POOL HAD BEEN CLOSED BY ORDER OF THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND THE COMMODE KEPT ACTING UP. THE CARPET WAS TORN AND SMELLED OF MILDEW AND THE BEDS WERE NOT CHANGED AND HARD. WE WERE THERE ONLY TO SLEEP AND WASH UP AND SPENT […] ALL THE TIME WE COULD AWAY. WE WERE THERE TO HELP THE FAMILY WITH TWO HOSPITAL SURGERIES AND IT WAS EVEN MORE STRESSFUL TO HAVE A ROOM LIKE THAT. Hotel was clean although old. Faucet dripped and frig made clicking sound on and off thoughout the day. Staff was friendly. Would not recommend for light sleepers as it is very close to very busy railroad line, had to wear ear plugs in order to sleep.Verifierad gästrecension

This was the worst hotel ever, I guess I got what I .paid for, trying to save some money, got the worst experience ever, there was big roaches in the room, smell bad, on the bed the sheets where full of wholes, and you can feel the mattress springs in your back. I decided to stay at this hotel for the price. LET ME WARN YOU, it was by far the worst hotel I have stayed at. The entire hotel complex as well as room SMELLED OF ROOTEN MEAT AND TRASH. "BED BUGS!!!"
The hotel was very old and ugly which was not that big of a deal, but when we got ready for bed, we pulled the covers back and there was a bug. My husband took a closer look at the mattress and there were TONS OF BED BUGS!!! It was sooooo gross!!! We checked out immediately. "Knight's Inn, Alvin TX - Awful"
After checking in and seeing the room, we left the property and found a hotel down the street (even though we had pre-paid the room). The overall property is run down and the room was very run down (cigarette holes in the comforter, the tub faucet was running and we couldn't shut it off completely, the shower looked dirty and stained, the room smelled […] musty).
