I Carlsbad är allting smörblommor. Dessa blommor täcker 50 hektar på The Flower Fields vid Carlsbad Ranch. I närheten ligger Museum of Making Music som fokuserar på amerikanska kompositioner och instrument. Rakt norrut ligger Oceanside mittemellan Los Angeles och San Diego. Denna badort är välkänd för sin pir på 1954 fot (ca 650 meter), den längsta träpiren på den amreikanska västkusten. Legoland ligger i närheten.

Bästa hotellfrukosten vi blev serverade fick vi på det här hotellet. Lätt att hitta till och ok rum. Välutrustade rum. Dock ligger det nära på farten till motorvägen vilket störde på kvällen, men däremot inte natten.
"USA Resa 2:a Stopp"
Överförväntan till antalet stjärnor. Nära till allt om man har bil. 10 minuter gång till stranden. Med tanke på priset var det bra. Frukosten lite tråkigt men det ingick i priset likaså parkering. Ett plus var att restaurangen Dennis låg bredvid (samma parkering)

"great business stop"
I have stayed here several times and always find it to be a nice stop. It is near my delivery site and is clean and safe. The property is older but has been remodeled. The carpets are in need or cleaning, but the beds are comfortable. This was our free night and that was a great blessing. Wish the breakfast had fewer carbs though.
"Good hotel for the price and location"
This is a great hotel if all you need is a place to crash. As I was attending all day conferences nearby, I only needed a place to sleep and clean up. The room was small but served my needs. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, but at least it was something (bagel, coffee, orange juice, cereal). The room comes with a fridge, microwave and coffee […] maker, which was also a plus. "Won't stay there again"
It was raining I had to walk up two flights of stairs that were not protected from the rain the roof run off poured down the stairwell and soaked me and the clothes that I was carry for work the next day. They would let us into the lobby to check. I had to check in at an outside window. Like the title says, I won;t stay there again !!!

On the positive side, the location of the hotel is convenient for me. Guest service is fine. The rooms are very clean. On the negative side, the air system in the rooms is poor (the rooms are very stuffy). The space inside the rooms are way too small. TV channels selection was very limited.
"Good clean cheap room"
The first night I stayed in a room that had a noisy heating/ac unit. The next day I asked to have another room and they were very accommodating. I moved into a new room and the new unit was much quieter allowing me to have a more pleasant sleep. It is very close to the main strip of shops and restaurants. It is close to I-5 and suprisingly is not that […] noisy. I would recommend staying perhaps in the middle of the hotel or closer to the other end , further away from I-5 and facing the morning sun. The Rooms are OK, clean but a bit small. The location is good for the price and if you stay on the 3rd floor the view of the area not bad

This is one of the best hotels I stayed in. its v.ery convenient to the highway and other restaurants. The hotel staff was very friendly as well. Would definitely recommend and stay at this hotel again

By far the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in, noisy, refrigerator kept us awake, stained and worn upholstry and rug. Management was nice, decent continental breakfast.

This hotel was great for the price, close to Legoland and the beach! Perfect for our family vacation!

I enjoyed my recent stay at the Days Inn in Encinitas. It was close to the the beach, shops, restaurants etc... It included a nice breakfast and the rooms were tidy. The freeway is nearby so if your a light sleeper-bring some earplugs. All in all an exceptional value, I'll be back.

"Very Clean!"
You can't read a book by it's cover! This hotel doesn't look great from the outside, but the inside was very clean and nice. The area surrounding was very safe. It is conveniently located next to a Denny's, Wendy's, Subway, and Little Caesar's. The beach is just a few minute walk away. Great place to stay!
"Nice Gem"
One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Great value. Room was very clean and staff were polite and professional. Close to the beach, legoland, and a short drive to San Diego.

I simply needed a place to stay in order to be near an early morning appointment. Seemed clean and comfortable, and staff was friendly.

Cost effective, clean and close to the beach. The rooms are pretty basic, but the service is very accommodating and awesome.

"Very Convenient"
We visited our daughter who lives just a mile away. The hotel was great as a base. Very comfortable bed - clean room - warm cookies upon arrival. Denny's is right next door (it was ok) but there were any number of restaurants in downtown Encinitas that are great.

If you are just looking for a place to sleep, this is a good hotel. Close to freeway but not so close as to be noisy. Denny's nearby so breakfast is easy and the shower and bed were actually pretty good for the type of hotel.
