Hotell Libertador Hotel Lago Titicaca - Puno

We loved this hotel. The view from our room was just spectacular. The service was great.

The hotel is located outside Puno on an island. The views are beautiful but getting to the boats to visit the floating islands requires a cab. We stayed only two nights and spent the first adjusting to the high altitude. The hotel staff was very helpful in organizing an outing on very short notice. Lake Titicaca is not your typical destination in Peru […] but a train ride to Cusco from Puno allows combining visits to both the lake and Machu Picchu. Läs mer

We stayed two nights in Puno. The first night was in the Libertador Hotel and after the long bus ride, the comfort of the hotel was appreciated. Our rooms looked right out on the lake and from the glass windows of the lobby at night I saw more stars than I think I ever saw in my life. One other incident. I was having trouble with the internet and mentioned […] it to the door person and he got someone to come in about 1 minute who made changes to the way my computer was connecting to the internet and voila no more problems. Excellent staff. We really appreciated this accomodation especially given the next night we stayed with the people on the island of Amantani. Probably should have reversed the order. Läs mer

We arrived at the hotel during busy check in time and were escorted to the lobby area by a gentleman who checked us in separate from the crowd. the hotel was very stylish and nice. Although we were not given the room I had expected (with a king bed), we were shown into a beautiful and well maintained room with direct view onto Lake Titicaca. YThe gentleman […] who gave us his full attention turned out to be the GM and he made sure that our stay was very satisfactory. He changed our room to a king bed room in the morning and we were happy. The restaurant, although pricey, was very nice and upscale and the location of the hotel unique. All staff we encountered was extremely helpful and reliable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anybody. Läs mer

sehr schönes Hotel, schöne Lage mit Blick auf den Titicacasee, sehr sauber, sehr gutes Essen im Restaurant, vielfältiges Frühstücksbuffet, freundliches Personal, mit kleinem Wellnessbereich, Bar und Billardtisch.

bonne impression générale, mais grave défauts d'insonorisation qui enlèvent beaucoup de charme de cet hôtel. Les canaux de ventilation / air conditionné véhiculent le moindre bruit des chambres voisines (salles de bains y-compris). le sytème de fermeture des portes d'entrée des chambres est très bruyant. Ces portes laissent en outre passer tous les […] bruits des couloirs. La période de repos est donc limitée à 23:00 - 05:00 car les gens (généralement les "nouveaux arrivés" européens avec décalage horaire) se lèvent très tôt) Läs mer

Chambres spacieuses, confortables, tres bien équipées, vue sur le lac (demander sunset )personnel tres sympathique. une étape très agréable

La vue sur le lac Titicaca a partir de l`hotel est magnifique, les levers de soleil inoubliables. Le service est remarquable, toutes nos demandes (de couper un cadenas dont nous avions perdu le code a une audio a 6 heures du matin avec mon entreprise en France) ont ete satisfaites avec efficacite et amabilite. L`hotel est situe a l´ecart de la ville […] et propose d'organiser les sorties (du taxi pour le centre ville aux excursions touristiques). Plus sur et plus cher que de le faire soi-meme - chacun decidera en fonction de son gout pour l'aventure et de son budget. La ville par elle meme ne presente pas grand interet (mais certains sites environnants si !), la situation excentree de l'hotel n'est pas un handicap. Läs mer
