Good hotel, nothing fancy but a nice clean place to stay. The breakfast that was included was good and ran later which was nice. Hot tube and pool area was nice but had lots of kids running back and forth to the waterside. Great views of the mountains. Good hotel for the price!

Beside the noise from train, generator close to room, the service and comfort of this hotel is excellent. Very good rates.

Certainly the train was bothersome but I found the staff lacking. I had to ask for a map, directions, location of additional services. All these should have been provided without asking. The worst was when they didn't ask how my stay was. The breakfast was in a separate building and appeared there were more people there than we're in the hotel. It was […] convenient to hop into downtown but I can't get the picture out of my head of the crooked mounted mirror and sheets that didn't fit the bed. Was not happy with our room at the Ramada in Canmore - we thought since it was a ramada we would be pleased with the size of the room and since it was overlooking the mountains, we expected a balcony to enjoy the view - neither was accurate. I also called prior to arriving to ask if we could be as close to an exit as possible (I knew we would be going […] in and out several times and did not want to disturb other guests) - the lady at the front desk said we were as close to an exit as possible - our room was in the middle of the second floor...so, basically as far away from an exit as possible!!! The water slide was broken in the pool, the tv was old and the furnishings within the room were out dated as well. I guess we had our hopes set too high basing our standards on other Ramadas across Canada - this one does not meet other Ramada standards at all! Will not ever stay at this hotel again! Läs mer

The hotel is conveniently located within wlking distance of the downtwon area. Although it backs onto the tracks, the trains were not an issue. Good hot breakfast buffet was provided with room.

Clean, amazing breakfast just get there early can be very busy! Walking distance to everything, hardly heard the train, really a non issue! Unable to get into hot tub and hard to get parking due to high capacity, long weekend it was packed! Understandably why!

This was our third trip to Canmore staying at the Ramada Inn. For the price, this is a GREAT hotel. We requested, with Hotels.com, a room on the top floor with a view and we got it. The room was a fair size, very clean and the beds comfortable. The room had a fridge and microwave, which are nice to have. There was a slight chemical smell to the room, […] which was quickly taken care of by the staff. We received a courtesy call from the front desk after a few minutes of being in our room making sure everything was satisfactory. It was then that I mentioned the smell, most likely furniture polish or something, and within minutes we had someone knocking with a room sanitizer. It worked great, too. We had a great time at the pool and waterslide with our three children (hard to find a hotel that allows five to a room, without charging more). The breakfast well basic, was good. How can anyone complain about complimentary breakfast, anyway? The staff are very friendly and helpful. We love Canmore and Banff, enjoyed some wonderful hikes, and walks around both towns. Wonderful hotel. Our room was quite large with a view of the Three Sisters mountain range. While we faced the train tracks, the sound didn't bother us at all--even with the window open. The pool is cold but the waterslide is fun. Not much space for the large buses to turn around the end of the building, its not a great sound to hear a bus scrap against the building. But overall it was a good stay.

We really enjoyed our night at the Ramada Inn. We were upgraded to the Pullman Suite when we arrived. We we celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary so what a treat to be upgraded when we got there. Staff were very nice.

This was our first stay at the Ramada Canmore. We stayed in a 2-queen bedroom on the road side (quieter than the rail side) on the 3rd (top) floor. We really enjoyed the pool & waterslide & 3-story high winding spinny waterslide! The hot tub was nice too with powerful jets. The view of the mountains from the pool was really nice too. The ice machine […] on our floor wasn't working, but it did have a sign letting us know to use a machine on another floor. The room was very simple, but clean and had a nice view of the mountains. The TV was a little on the small side, and it would have been nice to have the option of ordering movies on the TV. The bedding was very cozy, but I found the mattress a little too firm for my liking. The complimentary continental breakfast the next day was fabulous! With different brews of coffee, varied juices (apple, cranberry, orange, grapefruit), hot scrambled eggs, hot sausage links, assortment of pancakes, waffles, assorted breads and bagels you could toast, assorted muffins, danishes, mixed cereals, butter, cream cheese, oranges, etc - what a great selection of all-you-can eat delicious complimentary food! Unfortunately I heard every train that went by, as well as felt every train that went by, as well as I heard every person walk down the hallway. They were just talking and you could hear them. If your looking for a good night sleep, then this is not it.

Staff was fantastic and room was clean. Pillows were terrible and although they had a flat screen in the room, it was small and sitting on the top of the dresser and not viewable from bed. The customer service was good, not so much fun having the hotel room backing onto the train tracks can be noisy at night. hot tub not so cool as its right under the water slide and when children are going down you get splashed :(

This hotel is great for family with kids. My kids had so much fun in the three story waterslide and their breakfast had so many varities. Planning go to banff every year and stay in the hotel to end our trip.

We decided to go away on a romantic get-away and have a jetted tub. Needless to say the jetted tub in this "deluxe king suite" is a jetted tub in the shower. That was disapointing. Also a lot of family and children running through the halls of this hotel. I guess the water slide brings them in. I didnt read that this hotel was right on the train tracks. […] Not a problem for me since I can sleep through anything but my other half was very unhappy listening to a train every 2 hours in the night, not to mention the shadow it casted on the wall. We requested some extra towels on our last nights stay and never recieved them ... that was also very discouraging. Over all the free breakfast was great.It was affordable .. that's about it. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel as it was convenient to both the town and the highway to Banff. There was a safe in the room which added to the security of our valuables. This is necessary as the hotel is not secure from outsiders (anyone can enter the side doors without a key). There is a very nice exercise room, pool and hot-tub to relax in after […] a day of skiing or outdoor activity. Friday night to Saturday morning there were between 8 and 12 trains, and the whole room shock each time and woke us all up. The other nights, there were only 2 or 3 trains a night. booked last minute, + points swimming pool, breakfast and close to Banff, - points, do not book railway side thought we may have 1 or 2 trains go by not the case, and the room smelt of diesel fumes in the morning from the trains. We stayed with another couple. Our room was clean and well maintained. Their room had dirty bedding and they asked to be moved to another room. Overall the stay was good but probably wouldn't be our first choice when staying in Canmore again.

Good for a skiing weekend. Nice staff and a good breakfast. Our room was uncomfortably hot and we all had a hard time falling asleep, which was unusual in February. We did appreciate the corner shower, nothing worse than shower curtain clinging to your legs.

We've used the Canmore Inns & Suite a number of times when we are travelling in Canada. Its about 1.5 hrs from Calgary airport which is ideal after a trans-atlantic flight. Some of the rooms are starting to look a litlle tired but are clean and everthing works. The staff are friendly and helpful.
