Helt perfekt hotell. Mycket prisvärt, snygt och rent, trevlig personal. Allting flöt utan problem. Inga störande ljud i rummet. Trevlig bar i hotellet med utsikt över floden. Bra frukost.

Walkable to everything but still a quiet spot with a perfect clean room and great service. Highly highly recommend.

Spent two nights here in mid-August. Excellent location- fairly central to all the sights and close to fine array of restaurants and cafes. Requested room overlooking the river Liffey. Rooms a little worn. Queen bed actually two twins put together- not particularly comfortable. Windows do open. Hallways quiet. Restaurant not open- undergoing remodeling. Courtyard was closed. Extremely helpful front desk staff.

Boutique hotel in good central location. Hotel modern and clean but style now dated (Rocha design theme). Recommended if you a get a room only deal. Bfast very dear and good, cheaper alternatives nearby. Each room had a problem leading to change of rooms eachtime. Offered free bfast for one morning as goodwill gesture but haggled for free meal in Halo restaurant. Got this and meal was great. Halo seemed only to be open on a Saturday! Standard of food and service was good but manager who agreed free meal hovered tactlessly in case we sought to add extras to meal! Good spot really if you get a good price, perhaps unlucky with rooms. Our room was wrong from start,damp smell. Told later that romm was closed down due to water leak. This should have been spotted by staff, not customer. Other room had very squeaky bed.

The Morrison is very conveniently placed at the River Liffey and just a short walk over the Ha' Penny bridge to Temple Bar area. Fairly quiet at night. It is walking distance to many sights such as Dublin Castle. It is a couple of short blocks from Henry Street shopping (which is closed to traffic) where you can buy everything. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We stayed there at the beginning and end of our trip. Our first room was small, not much space left around the bed for luggage but our second room was quite comfortable. The rooms could use some maintenance in terms of looks, e.g. a few of our tiles were coming loose in the shower, but nothing to hinder our stay. Everything was quite clean. I understand from the locals there have been some financial issues but again it didn't affect our stay.

Highly recommend the Morrison for world-class accommodations and service. I am picky and expect alot when I travel; from the excellent location to the service to the rooms, I was completely satisfied.

This hotel is no longer a 4 star establishment! The hotel is shabby and not particularly well maintained--spotted carpets, scuffed walls, worn out draperies. There is a major problem with the electronic door locks. We came in around midnight our first night and our card key would not open the door. The night manager (who was excellent) had to break down the door and move us to another room (bigger/better)... Other than that manager, no one said a word...no apology, no nothing. This hotel is a dump...stay away!

Room was comfortable and the technology provided for in-room use was convenient. Across the River Liffey from Temple Bar, so much quieter and fewer tourists. Still a walkable distance from many museums (including Trinity College and the Writers museum, both worth their admission fees). Staff was very helpful and knew Dublin well. Easily accessible from the airport via Dublinbus. Several main bus routes ran near the hotel as well as the Luas redline (lightrail system).

Perfect location as a base to visit Dublin. Quiet location but just a short walk over a bridge to all the action.

The Morrison is in a great location. We were able to see all the sites in Dublin. We also had a very nice room with all the usual amentities. We did not have a breakfast package, but there was a nice place across the street.

We were greeted warmly by reception, allowed to check in early and offered assistance with obtaining tickets to Riverdance if we needed it. Reception called the theatre and confirmed that seats were available for will-call at the box office. Room was airy, included a safe, mini bar and flat screen TV and bathroom was modern. Convenient to Dublin sights and Temple Bar area as well as airport transfer bus service.

This was our second time to stay at the Morrison. We stayed in 2006 and then in July 2010. The staff is very responsive and met all of our needs including a reasonable price for an upgrade and a connecting room that we needed. The drapes in the room are not as fresh and a little freshening up of paint is needed, but you can not beat the service price and excellent Irish breakfast. The economy is slow at the time and we felt the hotel was very happy to see us !

I lived in Dublin for afew years and always thought this hotel looked nice, so when I had to stay overnight in Dublin recently, I decided to treat myself. I was expecting more from th hotel, the decor in the reception and foyer is nice, and while the hotel was very clean, I wanst mad about it. The room I was in was quite small...I have stayed in nicer 3* hotels elsewhere in central europe.

The hotel is in an area that is being redeveloped but still has some rough edges. The hotel itself is very modern and attractive inside, though lighting is a bit subdued. Rooms are comfortable and reasonable size with nice furnishings though windows could not be opened. Breakfast was very good standard with ample variety. The hotel is convenient for both Temple Bar/Grafton street area and north side shopping district.

After spending time in a tiny, cramped Paris hotel room, heading to the Morrison was a breath of fresh air. The lobby was artsy, the bar and lounge area very tasteful and high-class, if you're into it (we weren't). The front desk staff was SO helpful - happy to help us, be of service, make recommendations, etc. Top notch! The room was big, the bed cumfy and inviting, and the bathroom large and clean. The rod/support for our room was in poor shape, with part of the tile smashed, but it was functional, which was fine for us. The neighborhood is a plus - great breakfast around the corner, not even a block to the best Sushi place in town, and the coveted Winding Stair. Temple Bar is just over the bridge, meaning the hotel is close enough to be at a bar in 3 mins, but far enough so that the late-night rowdies don't keep you up (although car alarms might!). Overall, very impressed, and will stay there the next time I am in Dublin!

This was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. We stayed for 3 nights and I don't have a bad word to say about it. The rooms were large and very clean, with a really nice bathroom. A fridge to store any drinks and really comfortable beds. The television stations available were great also. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. They had very good suggestions about places to see and places to eat. The location of this hotel is perfect. Right next to temple bar it's within a 10 minute walk from a lot of shopping, restaurants and pubs/bars. I would 100% stay in this hotel again, it was a great experience.

Once we figured out that we had to go in the side door (the front two sets of doors are locked in the morning as they are technically a bar) the lobby was quite nice, and the lobby staff quite friendly. The room, however, did not have openable windows, and it stank of being a room which allows smoking. When we checked in there was even an ozone generator plugged in, which (after experimentation with turning it off) was actually helping reduce the stink -- but didn't quite manage it entirely. The "king" sized bed is actually two singles pushed together with king-sized linens, but the divide down the middle is quite noticeable.

Very disappointed with my stay in The Morrison & if I were John Roche I'd be disassociating my name from the hotel. The lobby and general area of the hotel was fine but the rooms were extremely shabby and very disappointing. The rooms could do with a complete overhaul, the walls were dirty and could do with a new lick of paint, the furniture was woren looking and the tiles in the bathroom could do with a face lift. The only advantage was the location but other than that I would not be recommending this hotel to anyone I know.

Great place! The staff are awesome and friendly. Nothing was too big a deal. The rooms were basic but very clean and comfortable. Nice tv's and stereo. All mod comms. The location is excellent - close to Temple Bar and Henry Street.

Hotel is nice, not fancy. Certainly not a 4 star, more like 3+. Neighborhood not that great but Temple Bar is directly across the Half Penny Bridge across the street from the hotel. Shopping is very close by. Beds not that comfortable. Careful of the marble bathroom floor! I fell on my rear getting out of the tub and hit my head on the table in there. Why put a table in a bathroom, anyway? Overall, a nice place for the price.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect. Just a short walk (3-5 min) to the Temple Bar area, Hop On-Hop Off tour bus pick up locations, the Sphere and shopping area. Literally one block from a mall in case you forget something. There is a great little restaurant just a few doors down from the hotel called the Winding Stair, and lots of other great places to eat in the Temple Bar area. Great bar - lounge area - very cool with big leather chairs and a laid back atmosphere and great music. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Dublin.

Hotel is contemporary - sort of a "W" wannabe. The rooms are nicer than the lobby and the lobby is more attractive in the evening than the day. I arrived around 9 a.m. - they suggested I wait in the restuarant. Even though they were full the previous night, within 30 minutes they had my room ready and allowed me to check in. Even though it is just across the bridges, there is no Temple Bar noise here - very quiet!

Stayed at the Morrison on our way out of Ireland. Hotel was quite hip and comfortable. Located near Temple Bar, but not in the thick of it. Bathrooms perhaps a little run down.

We enjoyed a super girls night away at this hotel. We were given excellent service and rooms were perfect. The location is excellent - walking distance of great shops and restaurants and bars.

This is an outstanding hotel. Very modern, well designed, and in an excellent location. A definite find. My only complaint was the 5 Euro charge for one half pint bottle of water from the minibar. $7.50 for a glass of water. Sheesh. A bit steep, I would say. So, stay here but avoid the minibar and its outrageous charges.

Only disappointment was that hotels.com indicated the hotel had its own parking area and that is not true - there is a public parking structure a half block up from the hotel. None the less, the parking structure was reasonably priced, we had no need to access our rental car during our three day stay, and the manager offered us breakfast each morning for the misunderstanding. The proximity to top attractions cannot be beat! Temple Bar, Grafton Street Shopping, both Catherdrals, and so much more is easy walking distance. This would definitely be my first choice for a future Dublin holiday stay!

The hotel is very modern, which was cool at first, but felt a bit impersonal and cold when staying there. The staff was extremely kind and helpful and the location was fabulous!

Very elegant lobby and bars/restaurant. Rooms are very modern and well laid out, and good size for downtown Dublin. Right across pedestrian bridge from Templebar (2 minute walk), and adjacent garage has cheap (for Dublin) parking for hotel guests (14 euro for 24 hours). Location couldn't be better, staff is very helpful.

The hotel location is very good, close both to Temple Bar (across the river) and the main shopping area. You can walk anywhere from here. The public areas are comfortable (even if s somewhat dated now having been designed in the standard boutique-hotel style). My room was comfortable and veeeery quiet. The bathroom wasn't working properly so they probably need a plumber to have a go at fixing all the fixtures. But this wasn't an inconvenience

After reading all the reviews, I think I was expecting a "wow" factor. It's basically a Westin-like hotel. Wasn't huge and rooms were fine. Location was ideal though, and hotels.com had by far the best rate for this hotel. Hotel staff on the other hand were so friendly and helpful. Was beyond impressed.

Overall the hotel was good, good location, friendly staff, the bed was comfortable, it was a little on the pricey side, but it seems that everything in Dublin is that way. The only real problem I had with the hotel was the fact that we asked for a non-smoking room and they told us it was, but someone had obviously smoked in the room previously, I just wish the hotel would have truly non-smoking room where smoking is not allowed ever, not just when someone requests it. Overall the hotel was good and much better the Morgan Hotel in Temple bar, quieter and only across the river a small walk from Temple Bar and other sites.

the morison is a fabulous hotel. the staff were extremley helpfull and very pleasant. the only negative aspect for me was no hotel parking available. however there is a car park beside the hotel which cost us 14 euros.

Decor of the hotel is very dark but the friendly staff made up for it. Lounge and bar area have very modern but impractical seating and this leads to a distinct lack of athmosphere. We ate a delicious breakfast across the river at a fraction of the hotel cost. Overall we were satisfied with the hotel and its location and staff are its major pluses.

Super hotel in a great location in Dublin. Convenient for walking the city or catching the bus tour. Modern and trendy setting

stayed here on the 30 may 2009 for our wedding anniversary. on arrival we were greeted by a very friendly check in staff, couldn't do enough for us. Upgraded us to a suite when she heard it was our anniversary. The hotel is very well located to visit all the major tourist sites, shopping area's and all the club's and bars you could imagine. Food was excellent and reseaonable. would go back for our next anniversary.

we stayed in the morrison last weekend, and to be honest, we were a bit disappointed. the hotel is really dark - the corridors are nearly black with a musky smell. The room was ok, but the whole place could do with an update/revamp. can't say much about the service, because all we had to do with staff was checking in and out - no complaints there, efficient and friendly. we did not have breakfast there, because €21.50 for a full irish is a bit expensive! location is fab, though - a walk across the bridge and you are in temple bar. we enjoyed our stay, but if we were to go to dublin again for a weekend, we'd book somewhere else.
