"Not bad, not great"
The room was clean and well prepared but also very stuffy. My fiancée and I were feeling sick each of the two mornings. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. It's unfortunate the breakfast staff (two young ladies) were quite rude. Breakfast was open until 10:30 and when we arrived at 9:45 the ladies made us feel like we shouldn't be enjoying […] breakfast. We were the only people at this time for the breakfast spread. Had to ask for coffee after sitting down to eat... which came cold. Food was good and several choices each morning. Too bad the breakfast staff let this hotel down. "Obviously not what it used to be."
The outside of this hotel is fabulous and the five stars prominently displayed, but I think it's actually more of a three star. Perhaps it once was five stars. No more. Carpet and sofa stained, cigarette burns and no air coniditoning and stuffy. For the money, not a value.Verifierad gästrecension

This hotel is just a few minutes walk from Interlaken Ost train station. We were upgraded to a corner suite on the 4th floor with several balconies and a view of both the mountains and the river. "Would not recommend"
Not as good as it appears. Reception desk is friendly but not helpful to provide information in English. No A/C in the room. none of the hotels have that in that area though. Older hotel but not 5 star by any means. Staff in the restaurant is not prompt. We had to ask for coffee every day and had to wait 7 minutes. "Definite improvement over 3 years ago"
When we stayed here some 3 years ago, we unfortunately ran into some staff who were in desperate need of customer service training. "Nice but not a five star hotel"
The hotel is far from a five star hotel as advertised. It was warm and there was no air conditioning, so it was difficult to sleep. Overall, the hotel is a bit shabby, but is still probably the second best hotel in Interlaken. If I travel to Switzerland again, I would probably stay in another town. "Very disappointed"

"Not Impressed"

"Lindner Grand Hotel Beau Rivage - Perfect Location"
The hotel is located from walking distance of Interlaken Ost station. It was very convenient for us to walk quickly to hotel after getting off the GoldenPass express and hotel will allow early check ins if the your room is ready, if not they will keep your luggage and then later move into the room when it is available. "Lindner Grand Hotel - Got to think twice"
Room I got with the booking was vastly disappointing. Small, tucked in a isolated corner, with totally no view. Main door and bathroom door could not close properly, furniture were old. Gave me the creeps. Checked with hotel and reply was that it is "run of the house" room, thus paid another 20% of the booked price to upgrade to a "first class comfort" […] room which comes with a shared balcony, much bigger room. Furniture still looks kinds of old though. The hotel is very nice. Frozen in time from the 1800's. It is very difficult to say anything bad about the place. The staff was extremely helpful, the breakfast was beautifully prepared. The m usic in the lobby, a mix of 70's to pop rock needs work though. A little incongruous with the setting, and I like that music. Bring a lot of money. "A good hotel, but probably a 4+ rather than 5 star"
Booked this hotel rather last minute during travel in Switzerland. Interlaken and surrounding area is amazing, and the hotel is well situated to explore the area. I was pleased with the hotel which was clean, and although dated, well kept. Unfortunately the service could have been a little more attentive to earn 5 stars. The swimming pool is a little […] cold, but the multi coloured lighting is a nice touch. Good sauna/steam room. Would have expected a slightly better breakfast from this hotel, but was a perfectly reasonable continental spread. "Lindner Grand - Good but not Great"
We stayed 2 nights at the Linder Grand with our 5 year old. We chose this hotel because they had an indoor pool. Our room was really small. For 3 of us we felt really cramped. We weren't there to spend time in our room so that was ok. T he pool was really cold but it was nice and clean and the water changes colors so my son thought that was cool. […] My husband would have preferred it be a few degrees warmer for him. Kids will swim no matter what the temperature. Breakfast was very good with lots of options on the buffet. We ate there both mornings. The hotel lobby needs some new furniture. The couches are a bit dated and worn out. The location is great. Close to the train station, the grocery store (Migros) and you can walk all the way to the other end of town where the other hotels and restaurants are. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed having the driver take us and pick us up from the train station. You can walk (it's very close) but we had big suitcases and a 5 year old so it was nice to have the option. "Terrible service but close to Interlaken Ost."
We left our luggage at the hotel before check-in time. We were back in hotel at night our luggage was gone. The staff at the reception told us that should be in our room, but it wasn't. I called three times for one hour but she just told me she would notice other staff in charge. So I went to reception to say directly. She did the other's work for 30 […] minutes and then asked the person in charge and he told her the luggages were not in the place where used to keep the luggages so he couldn't send the luggage our room. So I asked her 'by any possibility, it could be in other room.' and she told me 'shouldn't be' After 30 minutes she looked around hotel she found our luggages in other room. and she was not say any sorry to us, just looking so tired to find our luggages. and the other things... the bed was not cozy, refrigerator's drawer was locked(it was not fit my key but the staff just told me it was;;;)and not cleaned room every day just change towels and straightened bed sheets. it is really not five star hotel. but the location is good. it's close to Interlaken Ost. "Lindner Grand Hotel=une catastrophe"
Outrée par notre séjour au Lindner Grand Hotel - soit disant un 5 étoiles. La chambre et la salle de bain étaient minuscules. Le carrelage de la salle de bain avait des moisissures, la porte de la SdB était moisie... Le repas au restaurant était très cher et le service assez débutant (par ex. servait le vin directement sans le faire gouter pour vérifier […] s'il n'a pas de bouchon...) Le petit déjeuner n'était pas mieux, la machine à café était en panne, donc le personnel n'était pas en mesure de nous faire un late macchiato ou simplement un café au lait (alors que je pense qu'ils auraient la possibilité de faire chauffer et mousser du lait en cuisine...) オスト駅前の道をヴェスト駅方面に５分ほど歩くと 美しい５階建てのホテルボーリバージュが進行方向 右手に現れます。ホテルに入ると左手にレセプションカウンターがあり、2名のレセプショニストがいて親切に手際よくチェックインに対応して頂きました。コンシェルジュディスクは見当たりませんでしたが、レセプションで応対しているとおもわれます。朝食は品揃えが豊富で、とても美味しくいただきました。部屋にティーポットが置いてないのが残念でした。Verifierad gästrecension

Çok güzel bir yerde, İNTERLAKEN OST tren istasyonuna 3-4 dk yürüme mesafesi. Girişi, dışardan görünüşü, odalarının manzarası çok güzel. Kahvaltısı çok çeşitli ve lezzetli, özellikle ekmekleri. Kahvaltı salonu ve iç lobinin ferahlığı ve dekorasyonu hoş. Çalışanlar gülereyüzlü ve yardımcı. Ana kullanım için yapılmış tuvaletler çok güzel ve kullanışlı Odalar […] bu fiyatta bir otel için çok küçük ve gösterişsiz. Eski kasa bir tv çalışma masasının üstünde duruyor ve seyredilmesi mümkün değil. Banyo temiz ama 5 yıldızlı bir otel değil, bir hostelin banyosu gibi İlginç bir şekilde otelde sabun yok, shower gel ile elinizi yıkamanızı öneriyorlar:) Muhteşem manzaraların, yürüyüş yollarının tam merkezinde bir şehir. Das Lindner Grand Hotel Beau Rivage in Interlaken besticht durch die ganze Atmosphäre: wunderschöne Kronleuchter, edle Stuckdecken, Marmorböden...und dennoch ein Hotel zum richtig Wohlfühlen! Accueil agréable mais heureusement que l'on parle anglais car pas un seul mot de français. Hotel a 80 % occupé par le moyen orient. Donc pas notre culture. impossible de profiter de la piscine. On y trouve des baigneurs en polo et tee-shirt qui jouent au ballon.
