Good rate for a good night's sleep. Room did need a little maintenance. Mattresses were comfy and staff was extremely helpful.

We chose this hotel because it was pet friendly and close to the Wilds. The front desk person who I believe is the only person working there -she was the only person we saw in our three-day two night stay- was extremely friendly. She tried to be helpful, but seemed unable to help with most of our requests. The hotel seem to be in a transition of some […] sort. There was a lack of supplies. No "Do no disturb" signs left, no extra pillows. ( The 2 pillows per bed that were issued were flat and uncomfortable.) The free breakfast was mediocre. The stay was merely okay. Läs mer

Physical maintenance of room interior (eg window trim) could be better. Staff was friendly and genuine and approachable. Main driveway entrance is crowded by big rigs (18 wheelers) making congestion at entrance

Was a little apprehensive about staying at Super 8 but was very happy with our stay. The hotel manager was so friendly and helpful. The shower was awesome. Much better than the shower in a very expensive hotel I stayed at in Las Vegas recently. Great complimentary breakfast that included delicious Belgian waffles. The hotel was very quiet and although […] they allowed lets, there were no odors and I didn't hear any noise from the many dogs I saw while I was there. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because upon check in I noticed the bed sheets didn't look clean. I called the front desk and they immediately sent the housekeeper up with fresh sheets and she kindly changed them. She explained that if you are a stay over (meaning more than one night) they only change the sheets every 3 days so we suspect they thought the room was a stay over and didn't change the sheets. They made the problem right immediately so all was well. The hotel manager and housekeeper were very helpful with tips of what to do in the town. Great concierge service!! Läs mer

My only complaints would be no elevator (but stairs easy to maneuver), cover missing on air conditioner (blowing air directly on one side of bed), and missing a phone (but staff very apologetic about that.)

The room was too close to the interstate, the busy truck traffic was not consistent with a good nights sleep. We were not allowed to change rooms!

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and adequate. The refrigerator and open wifi was a nice extra. The hotel is basic and plain but a great value if you are looking for an inexpensive place to spend the night. The Roadhouse restaurant up the street was very good. Steaks and Barbeque.

I found the staff very friendly. Was disappointed the free internet was a computer in the lobby. I found the location easy to come and go from. The room was clean. All and all, I would gladly return, if I'm ever in the area.

The stay was okay. It's the fact that they billed the credit card I gave them for "incidentals" for the amount of a night's stay that upsets me. I paid for the room via Hotels.com just like I always do; the charge on my card comes up for a night I didn't even stay. Room was fine and staff was great but we were supposed to be in a "Non-Smoking" room and it reeked from smoke odor. There was even an ashtray in the room, although it was clean. It's a shame because otherwise it would have been rated all 4's and 5's.

When we arrived to check into the hotel, there was only one person at the desk. I had to wait through several telephone calls to get my room. Then when we finally got into the room, we noticed a women's bra had been left hanging on the bathroom door. Once we got ready to get into bed, it looked as though the sheets had not been changed from the previous […] guest as there were wrinkles in the sheets from being slept on. The continental breakfast was OK, but a couple of times we had to ask the front desk to replenish the coffee and other items. The hotel does not have a person monitoring the breakfast area. The orange juice was warm and the waffle iron does not have any spray to keep the waffles from sticking to the iron when cooking. For the price we paid for our room, I would not stay at this hotel again. The mattress was so firm, I ended up with a backache and when we asked for additional towels, we were told they would be delivered to the room. I ended up having to go to the front desk at 11:00 PM and again wait for the attendant to get off the telephone before I could get my extra towels. Läs mer

Price is a little high but you do get a simple breakfast and location was near lots of restaurants. Would stay here again. Only downside bed was very hard but prefer that over too soft.

This was a decent place to stop along the road, although it was a bit expensive considering we stayed at a better hotel in a resort town on the same trip for less and got more. Although there is a price match guarantee, it seems Zanesville itself is inordinately expensive and if I make the same trip again I will probably just stop in another town altogether. […] The staff was friendly and the room was clean and well-appointed, although the hall smelled strongly of cigarettes. Its location surrounded by gas stations right on the highway was quite convenient for our needs but made me somewhat nervous about the car, especially considering the "not responsible for theft" sign in the parking lot. I would stay here again. The rate was reasonable and the room was perfectly fine. You can tell they have been making upgrades to the hotel so many previous (negative) reviews of the hotel would seem outdated now.

Satisfying experience with a pleasant staff and more than adequate room. Really good continental breakfast. The only place to eat without driving to the next exit, however, is a MacDonalds and an A&W, though.

The heating system could not be properly regulated and consistently released cold air and had to be turned completely off which made for a cold sleeping night given the low nightly temperatures.

aside from the rude desk attendant , everything in the immediate area closes at 10 . the room was filthy , there was greene mold on the top of the nightstand .. , long hairs along the wall, a greasy hand print above the shower , empty creamer packages under the dresser ..i will never ever stay at a super 8 again !!

I've stayed at this hotel before. It's fine for my needs of only a few nights. But this time I was in a room on the ground floor that, despite the working air conditioner, was always excessively humid. I knew because a cereal box I had became limp feeling, and a bar of Neutrogena soap I had always "sweated' and reduced greatly in size the short time […] I was there. The hotel room was spartan, but exactly what you would expect from a two-star place. However, the beds were not made with fitted sheets; the staff had used flat sheets as the bottom sheet. It made sleeping somewhat of an uncomfortable experience.

After reading the other reviews, I was very hesitant to book a room here, but I didn't have much $ this trip. The other less-than-enthusiastic reviews were fairly correct, and one gets what one pays for here. The room was basically clean, as was the bathroom, but the mildewed carpet smell in the room was overpowering. I never let my bare feet touch […] that floor. Ick. The hallways smelled of smoke, although the floor was supposedly non-smoking. The other clientele made noise until 11 p.m. and then began stomping overhead and slamming doors around 5 a.m., so sleep was difficult. For the money, it was an acceptable motel, but I'd hope they would replace the carpet and take care of the smoke smell. Läs mer

Stayed here on the way to and from Indiana.... Would have never stayed on the way back if I would have known the condition of this hotel prior to booking!! Pay a little more go to the Hampton! Reserved a non-smoking king room, got a smoking double!! Too tired to argue about it at check in! Room stunk of must and smoke. The bathroom no matter how "clean" […] it looked, SMELLED of urine!!
