The hotel is in a great location and is one of the prettiest I've ever stayed in as it is made up of a number of separate canal houses. The staff are simply delightful and the room was superby looked after. The only downside we experienced was that the hotel restaurant was a little disappointing on the evening we were there - we had to wait for service […] and the food was lukewarm. I found that the Hotel Pulitzer was a very comforting experience within a very busy and vibrant city. It was always a good feeling to get back to the comforting atmosphere after a long day out into the busy city. It felt like "home away from home".

The hotel was great!! Very close to Ann Frank House and walking distance to many attractions. The staff was extremely helpful and gave great ideas as to walking tours, including places to stop along the way. We would highly recommend it anyone considering Amsterdam, Rooms were great as was the setting- canal houses.

Good location, minimal amenities. Competitors offer same quality for less. Breakfast far too expensive. Nice place but overrated, 4 stars at best.

Wanna stay 4 canals (4 blocks) from downtown, enjoy the sounds from the canals? This hotel is it. The staff is great, the hotel is awesome and it's truly a 5 star hotel. They need to fix the gym, but that's the only minus.

Hotel Pulitzer exceeded our expectations. The staff is great and very friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel in the heart of Amsterdam.

The hotel is in a great location. The service personnel are warm and friendly. Since there are several old buildings connected, it can be a trek to get to your room, and the rooms are quite small. It may not be appropriate for folks with walking/stairs disabiIities. However, despite all of the nice aspects, I will not stay in another hotel that charges […] for internet access! $25/day, in a city that has free wifi in cafes is an insult. and a ripoff. Läs mer

Quiet area , with easy access to public transport and tour operators. Walking distance to Anne Frank's house . Wonderful restaurants near by. Hotel extremely comfortable and superb buffet breakfast. would certainly recommend a visit.

The Pulitzer was a gorgeous hotel, right on the canal side, very conveniently located in Amsterdam. We were walking distance to all the sights and the main city centre, but not too close that it was noisy. Great hotel but in our room, 158 the fire alarm speaker keep on making annoying constant buzzing noises. When I asked them to fix it they offered me ear plugs (!!!) aand would fix it the next working day. This never happened despite repeat request!

I recommend this hotel. The location is thee best and the rooms are lovely. The common areas, like the lobby is kind of drab and regular for a four star hotel. This made me nervous checking in but our room made up for it. We loved room 138. A man at the coffee counter took a few "shots" at Americans, told us we were greedy and wasteful but he didn't […] discriminate and bashed the Dutch and French too. Lovely hotel, near great restaurants and the art museums also on a beautiful canal staff very helpful and friendly definately a strong recommendation

Service was friendly and excellent. We stayed 6 nights and staff greeted us by name. Rooms silent, clean and comfy, breakfast buffet quite good. For other meals the restaurant is overpriced, understaffed and mediocre food. One problem surfaced: friend tried to send me chocolates, hotel told him they were delivered when they had failed to place the order. […] Hotel sent me nice bottle prosecco and a few chocolates instead, but pretended they were a gift from the hotel! No mention by them of my friend. Not good behavior from otherwise excellent staff. Also the toilet paper is awful, amazing really considering the rest of the place. Läs mer

Nice hotel and good location but my bed had BED BUGS! Had one bite after the 2nd night and thought maybe it was a spider bite. Last morning woke up with 12 bites on my arms and back. I let the the hotel know about it and they're "looking into it".

Walking distance to many places, tramway 200 metres away for other things. The hotel itself is very nice and clean and staff have been very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. If anything, I regret that wireless isn't free in the rooms...

If you want a full service hotel, this is it, with a great bar and all the things you expect in a upscale, good sized hotel

The best part of staying at the Pulitzer is its location in the Jordaan district which is very lovely and the quick access to trams, buses, restaurants, and the Anne Frank House. We asked for, and received, a very quiet garden room. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful in every way. We love the Dutch! A few frustrating issues we had stemmed […] from housekeeping. Upon booking, we had called and emailed about changing from feather to polyester bedding since I'm allergic. When we arrived, jet-lagged and needing sleep, the king bed was covered with feather bedding. They did replace it but with queen sized polyester bedding. Neither my husband nor I were fully covered throughout the night. After the third night we changed to two twin covers...much better. The sink was stopped up for three days. They tried a chemical for a couple of days and eventually called in a plumber which fixed it. The light in the foyer was out the entire time. They gave us slippers and then one pair disappeared after housekeeping, as did the washcloths. My husband was running out to get coffee every morning until we heard that every room has a coffee service tray (ours didn't). They brought one in immediately. Each issue was addressed with friendliness and apology. They left a couple of little souvenirs but we would have felt better with some kind of compensation...maybe breakfast. It's frustrating that a hotel of this caliber wouldn't be more careful. Even so, we would return to the Pulitzer the next time we visit Amsterdam! Läs mer

Five minutes walk to Dam square, 1 minute walk to Anne Franks house, 20 minutes walk to the Van Gogh Museum and yes.... 7 minutes walk to the Red Light District. If the weather is good this Hotels location is perfect but do bring an umbrella. The Hotel have their own canal boat, fantastic cruise with a very nice Captain. Not cheap but good value for […] a 70 minute cruise through the canals with full commentary from the Captain. The staff were friendly and anything we needed was no trouble to them. Room 381 was nice but smaller than I would have expected especially the bathroom but clean and comfortable. Don't expect a room with a view by default this hotel is based on internal courtyards so don't expect a canal view unless you book one. Our room was very quiet and had no noise problems. Läs mer

This hotel is a MUST for anyone visitng Amsterdam! The staff, grounds, amenities and restaurant services are superb.

Rommet svarte overhode ikke til forventningene og prosepektet hverken i størrelse eller komfort.Dette sett ut i fra 5 * hotell og prisklasse.Jeg har reiset meget i årenes løp både privat og professionelt og dette rommet var ikke annet enn ett høyst ordinært rom på ett hotell med 3-4 * . Som sagt ett rom i den prisklasse skal man kunne forvente mer.Frokost […] var bra men meget tynn kaffe.Service generelt var upåklagelig men noe mer smilende personal hadde man forventet. Ekstremt hyggelig og god service. prima beliggenhet.

Erittäin hyvä hotelli ja kiva sijanniltaan, sekä hyvät ravintolapalvelut ja aamiainen loistava.

Eneste tilgjengelige var "business room", dobbelt så dyrt som det vanlige vi har brukt tidligere. Sen innsjekk fordi tidligere gjest hadde "betalt for å ha rommet lengre", skulle ikke vært lov. 10 Euro pr time trådløst internett med den romprisen er "umusikalsk". Praktfull beliggenhet. Konklusjon: Rommet ikke verdt prisen

Hotel liegt sehr zentral und von hier aus können alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, Museen, etc. schnell und gut erreicht werden.

Sendo um hotel 5 estrelas tive alguns problemas que não se espera de um hotel deste nivel : pegamos 2 dias de chuvas e o hotel não tinha guarda chuva para todos os hospedes e os funcionarios achavam normal não possuirem . Quando solicitei ajuda para chegar em algum lugar a explicação era basica e na maioria das vezes nos viravamos sozinhos . Fora as […] filas para falar com a recepção . Decepcionante o serviço deste hotel . As instalações e os aptos são muito bons , a limpeza mais ou menos . O serviço não é de um hotel 5 estrelas . Die Zimmer haben uns nicht überzeugt. Das erste war über eine abgewetzte Treppe erreichbar, hatte einen unangenehmen Geruch und war lieblos eingerichtet. Das zweite war klein, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ringhörig. Kleine Badezimmer und ab 1.85m Körpergrösse muss in gebückter Haltung geduscht werden. Das Personal in der Bar war kompetent, zuvorkommend […] und höflich. Der Service an der Kaffeebar war inakzeptabel - ungeschultes Personal das teilw. fast einschlief, demotiviert und teilw. komplet überfordert war. Beim Personal an der Réception vermissten wir das Lächeln und beim Concierge die Freundlichkeit und Kompetenz. Längeres Verweilen in der Lobby war leider nicht möglich, da es laufend Durchzug hatte und kühl war. Das grösste Plus des Hotels ist die Lage und der Garten (bei schönem Wetter). Alles in allem für uns kein 5 Sterne-Hotel und deifinitv zu teuer! Läs mer

Selve byen Amsterdam kan umulig slå feil, men dette hotellet - til denne prisen (og jeg fikk en god rabatt) skuffet litt. Rommet var lite, frokosten dyr, AC dårlig og det ble varmt og ubehagelig i aprilnatten. Treningsrommet lite, men greit. Personalet var profesjonelt, men lite varme. Excellent hôtel, idéalement situé, ensemble des services irréprochables, très grande disponibilité et gentillesse de tous les personnels. Nous reviendrons

Situation idéale, proche des sites à visiter mais en dehors de l'agitation. L'hotel est original (attention à ne pas se perdre dedans, c'est vite arrivé...), chaque chambre semble unique, très spacieuse (pratique avec un lit bébé) et très bien équipée (une chaine Bose dans la notre, c'est la première fois que je vois ça...) Petit déjeuner : très copieux, […] conforme à ce niveau de classement d'hôtel. Il manque : une piscine et/ou un jaccuzzi et/ou un sauna, etc, mais la salle de sport est très agréable. l hotel est de bon comfort, bien situé , mais peu chaleureux et présentant tous les inconvénients de ces grands hotels : attente pour le check out, accueil professionnel mais distant, trop grande taille de telle sorte que l'on s'y perd.
