For a 3 star rating this hotel was absolutely dreadful. It is old poorly maintained. Hasn't been updated forever. Bathroom was in need of repair, TV remote didn't work, TV only had like 12 channels with nothing on them. beds and furniture old. Way overpriced for what we got.

This was everything I needed: free WiFi, a good bed, place to shower and shave. There was a layer of dust on the lamp arms on the bed head wall and a thick layer in the corner where the desk was. This hotel is in really rough shape and was really filthy. There was dried urine all over the floor in the bathroom. The walls are very thin and I spent the night listening to everyone else around me. Our non-smoking room smelled very badly of smoke and other offensive doors.

2 nights, clean, not noisy, breakfast good enough to get you going. Small room but with 2 queen beds all I wanted to do was sleep. Bathroom fan noisy so I turned it off. Excellent value for inexpensive place.

We were glad that this hotel was able to squeeze us in at little notice however we were given room keys to 2 suites that already had people in them and that was frustrating, especially when haulin luggage up and down stairs. The clerk lead us to the 3rd room which was perfect and we finally were able to have a good rest.

The TravelLodge Langley was a good, basic motel. I was staying overnight before a family gathering so wasn't in the room much. However, it was clean, the A/C, heat, etc. was fine and the front desk people were pleasant.

This was the worst experience I have ever had. I knew that is was'nt going to be a luxury hotel. We had an early start at a near by event and I was just looking for a clean room. They gave me keys to two rooms that were occupied and one room that the air conditioner didn't work, with hot running water in the shower. The bathroom was completely soaked. […] The pool was full of mold and around the pool was full ash trays and empty can. Finally on the fourth room we stayed. It was filthy and disgusting. The fridge hadn't been cleaned. There was stinky chinese food left in the fridge. One of the curtains was half the size in length and so the window was not covered. Läs mer

The room was filthy we felt cleaner using the public park washroom. The mattresses were all stained there were water spots all over the bathroom the ice machine didn't work the pool looked NOTHING like in the pictures online it was so dirty and merkey u couldn't see the bottom and the bottom u could see was black we didn't even swim :( so over all a […] Terible stay and will never be going back not recommending it to anyone. The room was filthy. Toilet not cleaned and food and garbage behind the dresser. There was blood down the side of the mattress. The grounds are very unkept and dirty with cigarette butts everywhere on the ground, even in the pool area. We had what was referred to as an “up graded” room. Not sure what that meant as it was identical to a standard room with the exception of a flat screen TV that the hotel didn’t have remotes for and a granite vanity top. The room was very clean and the AC worked great but unfortunately the bed was rock hard and the pillows were even worse. Our room was […] in the front and about 35 feet from a pub that features Karaoke on the weekends. Needless to say we didn’t get any sleep until they shut down at 1:00 am. Hotel rooms were not well kept at all, very very small bathroom you can't even turn around in them, very small rooms. We asked for new sheets as the ones on the bed when we arrived were stained we were handed dingy needed to be replaced sheets to make the bed our selves the towels were also stained, there were small burn holes in sheets and blankets […] and they smelled of smoke. Pillow was tiny and flat we asked for a couple more , but none were available. Rooms stink of smoke and mold, and people smoking everywhere. Pool was dirty and ice cold, so we did not use it at all, main reason for booking was pool. I had to go buy a bottle of fabreeze and scented candles to remove some of the smell. We had a very nice maid, front staff was nice also. Property is not well maintained. It really is worth no more then 30.00 per night not the rate we paid. We took a lower price hotel to try and went with travelodge as we have stayed in a couple. The rooms were far below what I expected, one I would expect to get in the slums. It was by no means a terrible stay, safe and we were gone most of the day, so really was just a place to sleep. I don't feel we got our monies worth even going with a lower price on a room this time. really has little at all to offer except for a safe place to lay your head with no comforts. Läs mer

The room showed its age but the bedding was clean and new. The bed was comfortable. and everything was working. It was one of the least expensive hotel selections and you get what you pay for.

We found the staff helpful, and we liked the area in which the hotel was located. We rested comfortably and enjoyed our stay. The maintenance of the facility could be improved.

Was not told it was a walk up stairs to the thrid floor would not have booked if I would have know as my wife has a very bad knee and stairs are very painfull for her and it was all sowllen up very disappointed

the place was in a convienent area ,the food was fantastic and reasonabally priced at the pubthee staff was friendly ,the price of the staywas cheap for the quality of the place so overall it is a terriffic place to stay

I was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming Fella at the desk when I arrived. He was very friendly and informative. . Check in was very swift and uneventful having all the info on computer.After receiving my electronic door key I went to my room, it had the same familiar odor of any budget motel. Having stayed at this Travelodge mainly for convenience, we have seen it at its wiorst and now for much the better, since xmas the new people have been really trying to lift up the aging place, and they are pleasent and nice to deal with. I am sure next time we stay there will be more improvements.

Room was dirty, cob webs along the walls, dirty rug, not vacuumed, dresser drawers were dirty you wouldn't want to put your clothes in them. There was even a bug in one of the drawers. Linen was old, and dingy. Cleaning service terrible, did not vacuum or clean room properly. Noisy location close to the freeway. Never stay there again,

The hotel is next to a bar that is often loud during the weekends. If you're a family with small kids, this is not a good place to stay unless you're on really tight budget and cannot afford better. This was one of the cheapest places I could find around Vancouver. If you're staying on Friday/Saturday night, we aware that you will not be able to sleep […] if your room is facing the bar next door. Even if somebody will pay me, I will not stay ever again in this place and will not recommend it to anyone. Service is horrible and one of the personnel was not a pleasnt one to talk to at all like as if he is a king or something. Being hung over in the morning after a wedding, and discovering they forgot to stock the coffee was my only real disappointment. Its a bit noisy around the hotel too, with a highway on one side, and a busy bar on the other. Other than that, the outside is crummy, but the room was clean. Cost too much for what it is.

Regarding location it was very useful to us very close to the 176 exit to the US border. That's it!!! Tiny rooms, poor evening service. poorly lit and the pool was not clean IN AUGUST!!!! Just wouldn't stay there again.

The air conditioner was blowing warm air and the room was warmer than outside. The muffins were moldy, sour milk and wrinkled apples and oranges. Cream cheese was rock hard for bagels. This was reported to staff and attempts were made to correct.

The hotel is seriously run down. There is no insulation between the rooms, so you hear all activities of your neighbors (opening doors, brushing teeth even). As well you can hear everything outside the room too - traffic, trucks starting, people walking by. The bathroom was really clean and that is the only thing I can say about this hotel that was […] acceptable. I will never stay here again, and likely never in a Travelodge again. Who has bedspreads anymore? Gross. The pillows and mattresses were old, worn out and uncomfortable. The towels are so thin and threadbare you can see your hand through them. The outside is in disrepair, one of the rooms had the door lock beaten off and barely patched together. Replace the door! Clean the sidewalks! Clean the paths! Clean the stairs! Paint! Overall, the motel stay was good. The room was clean and the staff were attentive to our needs. We arrived late and the night office attendent was a little strange - he paused halfway through the check-in process to wash his hands ... The hotel was barely acceptable, and the hot water was only luke warm and non-lasting. Then to top it off my vehicle was broken into the second night and my snowboard along with some other items was stolen. The staff was no help and the police said that's a bummer man. Bottom line is that yes its was cheap but not worth it at all.
