Hotellet är relativt rent men det bäddas ej rent...Vi bodde på hotellet 8 dagar och fick inte renbäddat en enda gång.Servicen från personalen varierade.en del var trevliga,andra satt och skrek svordomar bakom receptionen och var allmänt otrevliga av okänd anledning..Priset är ok men lång resa till manhattan,ca 30 min med tunnelbana.Finns lite resturanger […] runt i området,annars inget vidare trevligt område att vistas i.Kyl fanns på rummet.Frukost ingår ej. Dated hotel with friendly staff.Clean and OK rooms but the traffic on Queens Blvd sounded like it went between our beds...very noisy A bit off but good communications to Manhattan. Trivdes mkt bra. 2-veckors vistelse i NY. Fin service t.o.fr. JFK. Trevlig o hjälpsam personal. Ej störande trafik på natten. Visserligen 30min t-bana t Times Squaree, men priset för så lång tid var värt det.

Bra läge mellan JFK och LaGuardia. Övernattade här mellan två flygresor. Gratis hämtning från flygplatserna och låg avgift för skjuts till dem. Bra shopping 20 min gångväg bort.

Hotellet behöver renovering i badrummet.Duschen var inte alls bra. Det var svårt att tvätta håret. Tv:n i rummet var ett väldigt gammalt TV och jobbigt att sätta på. Mycket ljud på kvällen i rummet när man sover utan AC. Man kan inte adjustera AC:n på bra sätt.

Mycket prisvärt alternativ för er som vill besöka New York och då främst Manhattan. 8-10 minuter till tunnelbanan och endast 15 minuter på tunnelbanan till Lexington Avenue Manhattan. Priserna är rent hutlösa på Manhattan och vill man bo någorlunda drägligt så är det nog bland de bästa alternativen. Personalen är trevlig och hotellet ligger utmed Queens […] blvd och nära Macys, så det är inte i något dåligt område. Gratis internet i lobbyn som fungerade bra, samt möjlighet att köpa internet till rummet för 7 dollar dagen. Städning och bäddning genomfördes varje dag. When I checked in at the Hotel the clerk asked me for my driving license as a form of identification, when I gave it to him he made a photo copy of my license without asking my permission, I asked him why he done it and he rplied it was Hotel policy. Upon checking out the next day I asked fr the copy of my license to be returned to me, the clerk flat […] out refused my request and was very argumentive, I asked to see the manager at which time the clerk went into the back office, he returned after a short period of time and got me to sign a piece of paper to say they had returned my license to me. I was very concerned that the hotel has this policy, it is a big security issue of mine who has access to my private information and what happens to it under the circumstances I ran into at your Hotel. The hotel is located very close to the subway, which is very helpful. However, it is located in a horrendously shabby neighbourhood. It's not a great idea to go out of the hotel after dark, as we stayed there in constant fear of mugging or attack! Luckily, the room was reasonably clean and comfortable. Noise all night long from a night club in the building. Don't even try to get any sleep. Must pay extra for everything, including wi fi. Could not even get a boarding pass without a $20 fee for use of the internet.

The hotel is a 2-3 star hotel that I would rate as a 5 within that category. The hotel is located just a few blocks from the subway which makes access into the heart of NYC very easy and the subway ride is only $2.50 no matter the distance you go. This is an older hotel and could really use some upgrading. However, the staff was great and the shuttle drivers were wonderful. The hotel is convient to LaGuarda but the neighborhood is mostly automotive related business (garages, parts dealers, etc.).

It was on a good location near the interstate & 4 blocks (10 minutes) to the subway. Decent neighborhood & it was plenty of parking (that was free :-)!) No coffee pot in room. Asked for a roll out bed in advance, not in room. Asked about it at front desk and was informed that the person who was in charge of bringing it up, went home at 4pm. At 11:00pm another person was coming in and could we wait. Needless to say, we could not wait, due to a early wake up.

hotel is a little dated but as was only using it for a shower and bed was all i really needed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. the room was on the road side and was noisy but pair of ear plugs sorted that out. wasn't to far from a subway station with easy access to manhattan bound trains. all in all i would stay there again.

The bell captains were very nice and helpful. I was on the 2nd floor and the room was very basic and I could here the dance club through the floor. I guess the rooms on higher floors are nicer. There were Molds behind the curtain. Night club was so noisy. Even through I was on 3rd floor, I can hear music until 3 am. Complimentary coffee was tasted like urine. My bed was making noise every move. Room Heater was making noise all night long.

Well one thing that really bothered me was that they had no microwaves or refrigerator in the room. To charge that much and not be able to eat your food the next day was not good. I found this hotel through Hotel.Com, since it was offering a discount price. The staff are very friendly and helpful, nice attitudes. The hotel is old but it's kept clean. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of shopping within walking distance of the hotel. The subway was within walking distance so opened up the whole of New York.

Really, we used this just as a place to sleep while we toured Manhattan. So it's relative closeness to the subway was a bonus. No wi-fi in the room though (just in the lobby, that sucks), and the bathtub had a drip. Don't expect much, but as a cheap place to stay, it'll do.

For the amount I paid the hotel was acceptable, wasn't expecting anything too fancy. The hotel itself is old but everything was clean. The surrounding area is great though, a mix of good Asian and Latin restaurants. There is also a Chinese supermarket with cheap prices. The trains are close by and can take you to Time Square within 40 mins.

It was as expected. Other reviews said it was clean, but with some out dated furniture and that is just what we got. Our room had a refrigerator, which was also clean. There was no musty smells. Only thing negative I can say about the place was the sheer curtains in our room, no light blocking curtains just the under curtain. Located in a sketchy neighborhood. On a main street with a bar directly across the street. Heard traffic all night and then at 4:30am heard commotion from bar. No shuttle service offered, they charge $10 pp for shuttle to airport.

We were looking to economize and this hotel was perfect. Comfortable room, good service with no frills. Subway is a 7 minute walk and manhattan is about a 15 minute ride. Perfect for our needs. We'll be back.
