Fantastiskt vänlig personal, fint och lyxigt. Otroligt fin terrass högst upp, måste upplevas! Finns en sak man ska tänka på dock, på sommaren kan man störas av musik från en nattklubb i parken bredvid under natten, detta är dock bara under sommarmånaderna.

Did not spend so much time at the hotel, but when I did I don´t have anything to complain about. Very nice roof top bar, very good bartender! Location of the hotel is good, is close to spanish steps and shopping.

When we were shown to our room in this very lovely hotel, we opened our windows to a view of The Borghese Gardens. Impeccable staff and beautifully maintained hotel made our stay here five stars.

From the time you pull up to this hotel, the staff is happy, helpful and excited for you to be there. The hotel is beautiful, the terrace has views of Rome not to be missed. Located on a quiet street, it's a short walk to Piazza de Spagna. I will return to this hotel again and again!

Hotel rooms are very small for the price-point. Not worth the it. Better choices in the area. Stayed at the Boscolo Palace in the same neighborhood, which was great boutique hotel with amazing views from balconies for less money. Thought I would try another property in the area...big mistake. This place was a joke. Remodel is cheesy and cheap. They […] have no concept of design. Front desk or anyone at the hotel did not want to acknowledge that my partner and I were a same sex male couple. We noted on their system that we were celebrating our 20 year anniversary and still no acknowledgment. Front desk agent asked if we had two separate rooms during check in...which was very insulting. Service was terrible at the rooftop restaurant. No acknowledgement whatsoever. We we sat down ourselves and eventually had to fetch the server. Female manager came to clean our table and never asked to replenish our wine or if there was anything else we needed. Very rude and cold and had no training about the proper steps to service and standards. Very disappointing for a Sofitel property. Last summer my partner and I celebrated our Birthdays at the Boscolo Palace and the staff was amazing. They even sent a beautiful heart shaped cake to our room. Our stay at the Sofitel was truly the best that the French parent and the Italian location could have offered. Sevice was impeccable and always both friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble while the location was close to many sights while also quiet. Our room had a delightful view towards the Borghese Garden, while the upstairs bar and restaurant […] has a great roof-top view across Rome including St Peters and the Vatican. Being active we could walk to many things while the Metro was close by. If there is a fault, hot items in the breakfast tended to be a little cold. but overall this hotel deserves at least the number of stars it has for the competence and friendliness of all the staff, not to mention the Hermes toiletries - a true touch of luxury Läs mer

Very comfortable bed in a very nice area of the city. Close enough to either walk, bus or cab to anywhere in minutes.

I selected this hotel based on hotel.com star and guest rating and it turns to be fact and reflects reality.

There are not enough superlatives to describe this hotel. We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. If you go to Rome, don't miss this fantastic hotel.

-The room was big by Rome standards. -Room was very clean and the bathroom was well decorated. -Hermes bath products smelled great! I saw the exact same fragrance in the duty free Hermes store at the airport when leaving Rome. -Front desk can change USD for Euros at a little bit of an exchange rate. -The location was great! About four blocks from the […] top of the Spanish Steps, a few blocks from some great restaurants on Via Vittorio Veneto and the Galleria Borghese. -The lounge and restaurant at the top of the hotel is worth staying here alone. Beautiful hotel, lovely room, great location!

Wonderful hotel. The staff was excellent and extremely accomodating. We left our camera in the cab on the way to the Vatican. When we realized we had left it, we called the hotel and they called us back an hour later and had retrieved it for us. We would definately staty there again.

Great location and hotel, but expect your room to have everything you might expect. For example no glasses nor an iron. Our deluxe room was a bit Spartan having said that the location and view from the bar/terrace are such that we will stay again

Great greeting by Reception Staff. Room small but nicely decorated. Referred to Terrace restaurant on rooftop. Could not get the attention of waitstaff or any food after roughly 60 minute wait. Turns out they had no chef...ordered wine which never came. Staff moved us from table to table but never seemed to understand we were starving and jet lagged […] and just needed to eat. Great location, elegant hotel and wonderful hotel staff!

I generally speaking love staying at Sofitel Hotels but in terms of what you get at the Rome Sofitel for what you pay, I can't recommend this hotel. It's off the beaten track to all but two major tourist attractions. The cost was more than double that of another hotel in Rome we stayed at on the same trip that offered an excellent breakfast and was […] within 15 minutes walking distance to 90% of the attractions in Rome. Although the Sofitel had many extra amenities like in room movie options, the costs were high to use any of them and the service provided wasn't any better than that which we received elsewhere. The hotel was beautiful, well kept and staff was beyond friendly. I can honestly say that this was my best hotel experience ever and I didn't ask for anything spacial. It was that good. We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful hotel. Conveniently located in a quiet area close to the Spanish Steps and Villa Borghese. We have grown suspicious of the Italian hotel rating system over the years but this was definitely a 5 star experience. Absolutely would recommend this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and was more than helpful in arranging tours, and other recommendations. The restaurant on the roof was extremely pricey, but again, great staff.

This is a gorgeous hotel. A little out of the way but very nice. Our only disappointment was their restaurants. VERY VERY OVER PRICED, $30 breakfast is real theft. Concigeres could have bee a little more on top of things. They promised to book us into a restaurant that needs 24 hours notice and then forgot to call. The excuse was that this place is […] really busy... But Rome has no shortage of restaurants. So it was no big deal. But its just an annoyance. Aside from the accomodation, the concierge service was brilliant. Great advice about sightseeing and fabulous reservations and dinner recommendations! Really a very pleasant experience.

This was an outstanding experience. Wonderfully comfortable beds, beautifully appointed, very nice neighborhood and excellent, gracious staff.

I stayed at the Hotel Sofitel Borghese Rome for five nights, room 210. The hotel is perfectly located and walkable to everything. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable and clean, and there was plenty of hot water with great water pressure--a problem at some hotels. The bathroom floor was heated and the towels were plush. I slept with the window […] open as I like cooler temps. The street noise settled down after 11 pm. Hotel staff were approachable and eager to please. This is the best hotel I ever been to by far. I wish I was able to spend more time. I'm Italian and I was there on vacation with my husband. The terrace upstairs is romantic and the view is amazing. The staff is 100% professional. I travel out of town at least ones a week so I'm use to stay in hotels. You pay for 5 stars hotel but you feel like you […] are in a 6 stars hotel. Within walking distance to many attractions. Super clean. Great views from balcony - get a room on the 6th floor. Lounge on the 7th floor had amazing views all the way to St Peter's Basilica. The Sofitel had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Quiet room, good ammenities,good decor'. My only beef,I was certain the breakfast was included but came to find out that it was not-after we had already eaten. ($75 USD)On a brighter note, the staff realized it was my 40th birthday and gave me a very nice passport holder (leather) as well […] as a coupon for two free drinks at the 7th floor outdoor bar and restaraunt. By the way, the view from the 7th floor bar is outstanding but the service was beyond slow. The staff seemed more interested in chatting with one another than in serving us. The Rome Villa Borghese was everything that you would expext from a Sofitel. However, if you are looking to stay in a hotel that exhudes old-world romance, this is not the one. The building is an old mansion, however it appears the entire interior was gutted, leaving it architectually unintersting. The hotel is located in a fairly quiet street and we had no problems sleeping even in the heat and bustle of Rome in August. Its not a hotel with a huge number of facilities but it has a pleasant, intimate feel for a high class hotel. The hotel is easy walking distance to Spanish Steps and other sights, but the walk back is hard as it is on a hill. Room had beautiful view of both Rome and The Villa Borghese. Perfectly located between The Spanish Steps and Via Venato. Staff was very helpful and gracious. Recommend this hotel.

We stayed in the Villa Borghese for three nights and we couldn't have been happier. This hotel is located right next to Borghese Park and in a tree-lined, quiet, and chic part of the city. There are excellent cafes and bars and expensive shopping, and there is a metro stop a few blocks over. The beds were very comfortable, the air conditioner worked […] perfectly, the room was large and very clean and well maintained, and the roof-top tapas bar has one of the best views in the entire city. Jada, litt odd med fransk hotell i Roma, men du er tross alt midt i sentrum av Roma, i gangavstand til spanske trappen og Borghese tvers over og Via Veneto på 2 minutter ... og hvorfor skal du bo her: Fordi ingen, absolutt ingen er bedre på service with a smile enn Sofitel.
