Trevligt hotell med bra personal. Rent och fräscht på rummen, trevlig personal och skönt spa. För att vara hotell var även gymmet helt ok. En bit in till centrala delarna och lite äldre standard är väl kanske det som drar ner upplevelsen något.

Hotellet ligger för långt bort från sevärdigheter. Dock var det väldigt tyst pga det och det var possitivt för oss när vi ville sova.

Mycket komfortabelt hotell inkl. de ungerska specialiteterna termalbad etc. Kan varmt rekommenderas. Trots den påfallande lyxanblicken och vad man tror anbefalld dress code funkar det faktiskt med shorts även i den fashinabla matsalen, åtminstone vid frukost och lunch.

Mycket lugnt och trevligt hotell, beror nog mycket på att det inte var så många gäster där, vad vi såg. Men väldigt trevlig personal. Poolerna och SPA avdelningen var mycket bra dom också. SPA behandlingarna kunde göras något bättre dock, man märkte tyvärr att det saknades lite av den där sista "touchen" för att skapa den speciella lyxkänslan. Men absolut […] inte dåligt! Jag är väldigt kräsen. Maten på hotellet var helt ok men alldeles för dyr för vad man fick (åt grillad laxfilé). Ät i stan istället. Frukosten var också relativt dyr, men riktigt bra. Vill man stanna kvar på hotellet under dagen fram mot kvällen och vill dricka öl, vin, sprit, whiskey är frukostpaketet för samma summa (30euro) väl värt pengarna då drickan var gratis. Då blev frukosten billig. Summa summarum rekommenderar jag hotellet och egentligen ingenting att klaga på, bara jag som är riktigt kräsen. Läs mer

Ett välskött och fint hotell intill Donau. Det är lätt att nå hotellet med spårvagn. Man kan enkelt promenera över till Margaretaön. Hotellets spa består av olika tempererade pooler, mysigt!

Ett väldigt trevligt hotell med allt man kan tänkas behöva. Rena rum, trevlig och hjälpsam personal, stor frukostbuffé. Mycket stor och trevlig spa avdelning med varma termalbad. Ligger ca 10 minuter utanför centrum med tåg. Men då tågstationen ligger precis utanför hotellet är det väldigt enkelt och smidigt att ta sig in till centrum. Trevligt lugnt Hotel lite utanför centrum, bra service, hyfsad kommunikation till centrum. Nyårsbalen levde inte upp till förväntningen och priset 120Euro/st, tråkig lokal och halvdana uppträdanden. Fick vid incheckningen erbjudande om executive service, vilket innehöll frukost, fritt kaffe med kakor, samt happy hour mellan 16.30 och 19 vilketr innebar fritt vin och drinkar. Som pensionär åker man också fritt på alla allmänna kommunikationer som tåg, tunnelbana och spårvagnar.

The whole hotel was clean and well kept. The spa pools were impressive and open in the evening as well as the day. Food in the resaurant was good. The train and trams took you straight to the centre in about five mins. Stayed here when visiting friends and myself and girlfriend could not fault anything with the hotel. Reception staff were very friendly and check in/out was very quick. Bar staff also very friendly and very reasonably priced in comparison to other hotels I have stayed in. Spa facilities are fantastic and treatments were also reasonably priced as well […] as free WIFI throughout the hotel. The only downside was the air conditioning unit not working and the heating in the room was too hot but as it was winter, opening the window solved this. Would definitely recommend the hotel and when I am back in Budapest this is where I will be staying. Some reviews claim that the hotel is too far out but this was not a problem as the tram is outside the hotel and in the summer it would be a lovely walk along the Danube. Although I am a frequent supporter of the finest accommodations around the World, I couldn't resist staying at the very neighbourhood I grew up in during this recent Business trip. This property would have 4 stars by most international standards, as it doesn't have the traditional extra glamour and the distinct pampering we accustomed at the top level; […] however it provides excellent amenities, service, comfort, ambiance and very friendly staff. I booked king room through hoteIs.com with the full breakfast at an exceptional price. i got my river view room on the executive club level, which brings up a good point. If I were offered the use of the Executive club for about the same price as the breakfast I definitely picked the club access. Unfortunately that is not an option on any of the web based booking sites, making this great service the best kept secret of the hotel. Solution: book without breakfast online and pay for the club upon arrival. I stayed 9 days and most of my observations below were relatively consistent. The hotel lobby was really welcoming upon arrival and the check in process was fast and painless, something you'd appreciate after a 20 hour journey. The elevators, hallways and generally all common areas had a "newly updated" feeling. The room had an average first impression, except the definite smell of prior smoking there. Nevertheless, it turned out to be a comfortable, clean and quiet room. The flat screen TV had most local radio and TV stations, plus a number of German network TV, a couple of French, Italian, Russian stations, however indeed, if you'd only speak English, you could be stuck with the news, and one British travel channel. The internet service (free) was exceptionally efficient for any hotel. I had several long video conferences and heavy internet usage without a hitch. My personal favorite of the hotel was the spa. The hotel was excellent value for the price I paid. Location a bit out of town, but transport good, so wasn't a problem. Leisure facilities very good and included in the deal. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. Would recommend this hotel to others.

The spa and pool were exceptional. However, there were a few small issues with the room. Firstly, in this quality hotel you would expect a flat screen tv and some english channels apart from the bbc news. Secondly, the shower screen was too small, hence every time the shower was used the floor and towel were left wet no matter how careful you were. The hotel overall is very nice for being in the older part of town, but truthfully (being a frequent 5* er) not what you would "expect" from a 5 star - with the exception of the lobby and the SPA. The SPA / pool facilities are great as advertised - tailored primarily for adults. Rooms were clean, comfortable (not spacious), staff were friendly. The […] surrounding courtyard blends in with the neighborhood - no 5 * frills here. If you are expecting to jump out and buy some snack / drinks - be aware there is really nothing in walking distance, except a very overpriced mini market at the Hev station. The hotel is about 10 minutes from downtown on the Hev - which cones about every 5-10 minutes - which ends at the major transportation junction, or the trolly car can take you to the pest side, where you can also catch the metro. Either way I would recommend on buy a daily transportation pass as you will need it if you stay here and expect to see the sites (available at the major transportation junctions). Would I stay again, yes - as this facility represents value for the cost, and I would rather spend my money on the beautiful sites of Budapest !! Läs mer

Would not recommend, following are pros and cons : Pros - Close to Margaret Island, Good thermal pool n jacuzzi. Cons - Service non existant, Reception very inhospitable, Executive lounge not manned continously and stocked adequately, Breakfast big spread but not to expecte quality. If you want to be in the old city, this is the hotel for you. Our air conditioning didn't work, and the surrounding neighborhood is somewhat seedy, but otherwise a nice hotel - and a great price with Hotels.com!

The hotel was great clean, comfortable and good facilities especially the Spa. Once you had worked out the transport it was easy enough to get into town, although it was a shame the free shuttle wasn't working!!! The hotel was very good, clean, comfortable, and with all advertised amenities. It is close to the suburban rail line to downtown, and overlooks the Danube. good hotel, good spa, helpful staff. the hotel is a 6-7 euro taxi ride from the very centre of budapest, and easily reachable by public transport.

WE HAVE STAYED IN THIS HOTEL RAMADA PLAZA AND CANT FIND ANY FAULT WITH IT,AND WE WILL GO AGAIN THERE WHEN WE ARE IN HUNGARY IT WILL BE OUR FOURTH TIME STAYING THERE

dining room staff as well was most attentive. for people who do not want to be downtown, this is ideal. a short-12 minute-suburban train ride away.

Veldig fint hotell med flotte rom og en god frokostbuffet. Middagsmenyen var noe tynn mht utvalg og størrelse på porsjonene. Står at det tar 15 min å gå til sentrum men det stemmer ikke. Må ha taxi. Personalet var hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Flott spaavdeling.

Slidt hotel, fjernet belligende, ringe morgenmadasbuffet og samlet set lang fra et femstjernet hotel, men i bedste fald et trestjernet. Wellnessområdet er som det eneste udmærket, men især den kedelige fjerne belliggenhed skuffer ligesom morgenmaden, som bærer præg af, at det ikke må koste noget.

Albergo ben strutturato una Spa all'altezza delle aspettative, personale mediamente disponibile. Consigliata cenetta romantica nel buon ristorante posto dietro la struttura vicino alla chiesa e al pub. Heel leuk, cultureel of louter voor plezier en/of ontspanning

Großes, schön eingerichtetes Hotel, zwar etwas Abseits gelegen und die Umgebung ist eine einfache Wohngegend. Dennoch reizvoll direkt gegenüber der Margareteninsel und man ist schnell bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Bezahlbare Parkplätze vor dem Hotel sind ein großer Pluspunkt in Budapest.

hyvä aamiainen, hyvä spa, erittäin hyvä palvelu respassa (lääkkeet hävisivät matkalla, meille hankittiin lääkäri, joka kirjoitti uuden reseptin, Päivystävä apteekki neuvottiin, kaikki tämä lauantai-iltana).

Lækker hotel med gode store rummelige værelser. Spa og badefaciliteter er af høj kvalitet og er derfor et stort plus. Ingen nævneværdige fejl og mangler.
