Check in gick snabbt och smidigt. Rummet var stort och fint med både skrivbord och soffa med bord. Glasvägg till badrummet, men det fanns åtminstone rullgardin man kunde dra ned för avskildhet. Vi hade ett "twin room", men sängarna var ändå tillräckligt stora att sova två i, om man vill. En 24-timmars rumsservicemeny finns. Poolen är trevlig, men aningen […] kall och har ett lite instängt läge, så det är tyvärr inte sol hela dagen. Konferenslokalerna ligger i närheten av poolområdet, så många affärsmän står och röker cigaretter och tittar på de som solar och badar... Makan Kitchen hade god mat, men dålig service. Servitrisen var ganska otrevlig, och vi blev serverade dessert först, sedan huvudrätt och förrätten kom in strax efter att de serverat oss huvudrätterna. Vi checkade ut tidigt på morgonen, och det gick inte smidigt. Vi fick vänta ca 15 minuter på betjäning och de var omständiga med att skriva ut kvitton mm. Hotellet ligger alldeles intill ett köpcentrum och metro och bara 10 minuters promenad till KLCC köpcentrum med Petronas Towers. Läs mer

Bra ställe om du vill bo nära PT. Tunnelbanestation finns i närheten. Hotellet är nytt och fräscht, men stort och när det är fullbokat som när vi var där så blir det enormt mycket människor. Pool och gym verkade ok, men då det var så fullt blev det inte av att tränga sig in där. Poolen är ganska liten. Frukosten var enormt stor med mat från hela världen, […] i olika delar/kök, men liksom här blev det väldigt mycket folk och hög volym när man ska äta frukost. Personalen var trevlig, rummen var fina och för det pris vi betalade så kändes det bra. Internet ingår ej i priset och kostar ca 100 sek per dygn. Läs mer

Själva hotelrummet var stort och nytt. Sängarna var bekväma (inte får hårda). Maten på både deras kvällsbuffet och frukust var riktigt dålig. Inget smakade bra och den varma maten var kall. Inget gratis wifi på hotellet vilket ofta är standard idag.

Bra hotell, lyxigt, fina rum och fin frukost. Dock så kan inte hotellets personal främst frukost och restaurang någon engelska. Det blir svårt att kommunicera med dem.

This Hotel is very nice. The double tree cookies are delicious. Unfortunately a lot of shops in the complex are not opened yet. The location is quite good, its 5 minutes away from a train station.

Overall stay is pleasant. Hotel is conveniently located with walking distance to the LRT station. The front desk staffs don't seem to be well-trained with excellent service quality. No greetings to the hotel guest during check-out and slow in check-in / check-out process. Will not stay there again.

This is not a hotel for the holiday traveller. It is aimed at the business market and I dare say does that very well. It is efficient, coldy efficient in many ways but does not convey much warmth for the couple who like us , were looking for a comfortable stopover on the way to Australia. It advertises free wifi. What it does not say is that this only […] applies when you are in the hotel lobby.!!! If you want to use it in your room there is a charge. There is a plug in for a laptop but this is no use if like me, you are using an Ipad In terms of distance from the Petronas Towers, it appears quite close but the walk there is not pleasant being close to busy roads on poorly maintained pavements The prices in the bars were significantly higher than I expected even for this class of hotel. On spotting the ad for a Happy Hour, we ordered beers to be told the Happy Hour only applied to certain spirits and wines NOT beer. Strange sort of Happy Hour!!!! The lifts can be frustrating with long waits at busy times. Most disappointing was the swimming pool that seems to be in the shade for all except a brief couple of hours Great view from the room if you enjoy traffic jams. Check in and check out formality is a pain. Its not stated in the booking but was asked for some deposit. Take a very very long time to check in and not at all convenient to check out and takes a long time. Stay was fine but owing to too many 5 star painful policies, makes it more like a 2-3 star in terms of customer convienence. Rooms conditions is […] excellent and so is room service. But for a lot of things, we need to call and ask for the same, rather than providing in the room itself. For e.g., hair dryer, or any of those which should be already present in the room. Doubletree by Hilton is conveniently located about 10-15 minutes walk away from KLCC and twin towers. The room itself is quite spacious and well equipped. We had an executive room, which was on 33rd floor and had a great view of city. Paying extra for executive room is well worth it, since we have got access to executive floor, where we had breakfast […] and evening meals, drinks and snacks were served for whole day. There is an excellent view of twin towers from the terrace and wifi is available. You can also get an iPad on loan. The best of all is that you can get served by front desk on executive floor instead of going to lobby, for check out, arranging taxi, renewing keys, etc. Since the hotel is quite busy, there is queue in reception in the lobby especially at the time of check in or check out. We were traveling with 3 year old child, and found that hotel provides free laundry for babies and toddlers 4 years and younger. They can also provide baby strollers and other staff on loan. The swimming pool was quite good, and there was small kids swimming pool as well. Not sure about any other kids activities. The service provided was quite good in overall, staff was attentive. Excellent hotel, very welcoming. The buffet was amazing and well worth paying for. The pool and business facilities were great. The tv in our room was on the blink which was frustrating and on occasion the staff seemed to struggle to do simple tasks like add our name/room number to the breakfast buffet guest list even though it was pre-booked. I was in KL for surgery so I needed somewhere very comfortable to stay. The room was amazing with a fantastic view. I wish i had known there was internet connection in the room as I would have taken my laptop, I had a tablet but could only use it in the lobby which after my operation didn't really want to sit there. But I used the business centre which […] was great. I went on the shuttle bus a few times and the driver was very friendly and helpful. The food was great and the service was fantastic it was also very close to the surgery where I had to go each day, so will be reccommended to people coming to KL for surgery. The only complaint I have is the room cleaner he asked continually for tips, also he walked in when I was showering and I said through the door not to come in, I don't mind tipping but I thought his behaviour wasn't worth it. I will reccommend this hotel to everyone I know including all the doctors here, as its very clean new and beautiful, I really enjoyed my stay considering I had major surgery. Had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Welcoming guests with a warm chocolate cookies is a nice touch. Our room was clean, spacious and modern. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Found the location to be decent. Bit of a walk to Petronas tower and shopping (Bukit Bintang) though. Gym and pool facilities were not bad either.

Coming from Australian where we have strict smoking laws, we found the smokiness at the bars too uncomfortable. For this reason, I would not recommend the hotel to people who have children. The room was not always restocked fully every day. For example,some days we did not get a bathmat, others we got the bathmat and not the hand towels. Only minor […] things but noticeable. Fabulous hotel. Love the location. Service is great. One small complaint was, it was very difficult to join the complimentary WIFI. There was one specific space in the lobby I had to sit in order to get connected. Other than that, everything was great.

Fairly new, rooms are nice and clean. Bathrooms are open so if you're a prude, it's going to be tough to shower. Cross the bridge to get to the subway. Takes about 15 minutes to walk to KLCC. Warm soft cookies at check-in; a nice touch.

We just book it the same day we arrive to KL and we loved it!! Excellent location, very modern, new, and very clean. We just stayed for one night but we really think it is a very nice hotel. Also the cookies are delicious very nice complimentary gift toward tthe clients :)

Stayed here for 4 nights and loved everything about this hotel! The LRT station is just a bridge away and the twin towers are just 10mins away on foot.

The staffs were nice and friendly. They gave us free cookie upon check-in. The cookies were warm and nice. I bought a tin before leaving. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Nearest LRT Station is Ampang Park. Free wifi only accessible at the lobby. Overall my friends and I have a great stay at the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay very much. My only criticism would be in relation to the lack of wifi in the hotel room itself, and the unreliable wifi environment of the lobby area. I also thought the dining room on the 11th floor (Marakan?) had lots of internal glass (on the screens located throughout the area) which could have been a little cleaner. Overall Double Tree was good. Good Points were that most staff were very helpful and friendly especially those who made up the rooms and the concierge and luggage people. Another good point was the spacious room and the maintence of the room. The negatives were that one or two of the receptionists were not so helpful. Would have been good to have a […] technical manager to assist with issues such as IT connection. The free Wifi connection in the lobby was not good. Very Weak seignal that becomes mind numbingly slow when losts of people are logging on. ( personally I think that each room should have free WIFI access given the namesake of the hotel ). This hotel was really nice and clean. I stayed in a standard room and it was nice and spacious, bathroom was good size with good size shower and speakers connected to TV, with Crabtree & Evelyn shower gel, shampoo, conditioner & moisturiser. Robes and slippers are available and in-room safe. You can also request a different pillow from the pillow bar, […] there are 7 to choose from. They give you a complementary bottle of water. Breakfast included Chinese, Indian, Japanese & English food. Free wifi in the bar and lounge area. Hotel is about a 4 min walk to Ampang Park LRT. There are courtesy buses that take you to KLCC, Chinatown, Bukit Butang etc. Taxi ride from Bukit Butang costs about MYR15. A red Taxi to Subang airport costs MYR60 and a blue taxi costs MYR80. My whole family and cousins (6 of us) went there and got three rooms at double tree. I was a little disappointed when they couldn't accommodate us on the same floor especially when our request was king beds but they have us nice rooms and the staff was generally nice. Once my cousin wrapped her swim suit in a towel and left it on the bed and went out […] for a while and the cleaning crew took the towel so we went to the concierge and told them what happened. They immediately found the crew and found the swim suit and dried it off and put it in a nice sealed bag. The makan kitchen where we had breakfast was awesome! I really liked their variety of bread. The hotel is located in downtown KL so it's really close to big tourist sites like Twin tower and KLCC and pavilion. We were all happy that we chose doubletree and their signature cookie was good too. Personally, it wasn't my favorite but some ppl liked it so it was a hit! One thing I didn't like about this hotel was that we couldn't use wifi in the room unless we paid for Internet. The hotel lobby lounge does offer 30 minutes of wifi for free but I expected more. I would definitely, without a doubt, stay here again. The hotel looks new, was very clean and incredibly comfortable. I'm very picky about bathroom and the one at DT was immaculate. All staff members I came across were exceptionally polite and always helpful. The hotel had a great selection for the buffet breakfast. I mostly had room service for dinner […] which was delicious, so can't really comment on the other restaurants. Highly recommend the spa which is very cheap in comparison to Australia. From the hotel it is a very easy, and short, covered walk to the Ampang Park train station from which you can get pretty much anywhere. Great job on the chocolate cookie on check-in! Läs mer

Like many of the hotels in KL the Doubletree is part of a bigger shopping complex, the Intermark. The hotel is easy to access via the Ampang Park stop on the LRT & has great views of the Petronas Towers. All rooms seem good value compared to other places in Malaysia & the executive rooms are particularly good with access to the executive lounge included […] meaning quieter area for breakfast, free snacks & soft drinks throughout the day & complimentary alcoholic drinks between 5:30-7:30 every day.
