Hotellet var mycket slitet, inte värt pengarna. Sängarna var fruktansvärt obekvämma då det var hårda fjädringar som stack upp. Stopp i avloppet och det upplevdes som att det inte var städat det senaste året. Frukosten och servicen var inte heller något att rekomendera.

Bra centralt läge och mycket nära allmänna kommunikationer. Inte så bra städade rum, fick handdukar ibland och ibland inte. Klagade på att vattnet inte tömde sig i handfatet, men de rensade bara det första röret två gånger. Problemet kvarstod när vi åkte, eftersom dom inte rensade i "kröken". Frukostvärdinnan behöver gå en kurs i service. Hon skall […] hålla frukost emellan 8 och 10, men t.ex. tog kaffet slut en dag före halv tio och sen kom det aldrig något mer. Te fanns inte. Avslutade vår Florida trip med en övernattning här innan flyget gick hem till Sverige. Vi hade stannat här några nätter i början av vår resa och vi orkade helt enkelt inte leta efter något annat. Proceduren var precis som förrra gången: 45 min vid inchecknngsdisken, dock bara 2 personer före, allt går oerhört långsamt och portierern tillbringar den […] mesta tiden med att stirra ner i dataskärmen. Hur krångligt kan det vara? Vi har en bokningsbekräftelse med bokningsnummer + att rummet är förbetalt. Dessutom vill de återigen ha 2 dollar extra för safety deposit i rummet, antingen man använder det eller inte. Lägg på 2 dollar direkt på rummet istället för att skapa denna irritation. Hissen var trasig och gästen före oss skulle ha ner sitt bagage från 14 våningen och flyget väntar - ingen reaktion från personalen. Visst, det är centralt och billigt, men någon ordning får det väl vara på en frukost. Det finns gamla cremefyllda muffins och stentorra bagels att äta. Ok bagels kan bli ok i den dåligt fungerande brödrosten. Det enda som finns att äta till denna bagels är kemikaliemarmelader och philadelphiaost. Grymt dålgt kaffe samt drickbar juice som dryck. This hotel is suitable for a shorter stay, over night or 2 nights but not longer. Except for the carpet in the room It was clean but the feeling was that everything where "worn out" a couple of years ago. The parking that the hotel offered was expensive but easy to use. Unmotivated staff who rather speaks private matters on the phone than checking you in. The valet parking guy was very rude and mad about me not wanting to valet park my car, therefor he nearly didn´t let us park at the hotel entrance while checking in. Not so clean and old furniture. inget superhotell men absolut inte super sunkigt. Alla nödvändiga bekvämligheter om man bara är ute efter en säng i Miami.. billigt!

Efter att ha bokat detta hotell så insåg jag att Downtown Miami inte är ett särskilt bra ställe att vistas på under kvällstid. Det finns inte mycket att göra och alla guideböcker varnar för att gå ut på kvällen. Jag bokade istället ett hotell på Miami Beach som känns säkert och har massor av affärer och restauranger med utmärkta öppettider. Det är enkelt […] att ta sig från Miami Beach till Downtown under dagtid - det går flera busslinjer som bara kostar 2 dollar och det går relativt snabbt att åka. Var observant på att detta hotell inte återbetalar något ifall du skulle ångra dig, så var 100% säker på att du vill bo här innan du bokar! Läs mer

En bit ifrån South Beach, men med bra kommunikationer är det inga problem. Mkt bra hotell för pengarna!

I went with my family for one week. We were expecting two packages to arrive. We asked every day for our packages in the front desk and they checked every time all the ones they had received and told us our packages hadn't arrived. On the last day of our stay, we traced one of the packages and it had been in the hotel for five days, without anyone noticing […] it every time they looked for it. The other package didn't have a tracing number, so we had to trust them if they said it hadn't arrived. Finally, someone found it buy it didn't say our name on it, just the name of the hotel (that's the sender's fault). However, the hotel never found this strange and didn't separate it from the rest of the packages. So, be very careful if you have packages delivered for you to this hotel. They don't have a very reliable system to classify the packages and they could be there even if the hotel staff tells you they are not. My room was given away do to my late evening check in. But I was taken care of immediately, professionally & compensated. The room was very clean and I was satisfied. Hotel location was great.

The hotel met the conditions I was looking for. I had problems with two packages I bought through Internet, with instructions to the seller to send them to my attention at the hotel. One of them was delivered at the estimated date, but it took several days to be found by the hotel employees. Phone didn't work properly. Sometimes had trouble receiving calls becasue front desk was not answering phone.

What do you want to know? I attended a conference at the intercontinental in Miami. All the rooms in that hotel were booked so I went to Hotels.com to find something close and inexpensive. River Park is an older hotel with a strange 70s vibe but the room was fine, although small. It was reasonably clean. They served cold breakfast in the morning (bagels, […] cereal and coffee). It was duty, hair all over the bathroom floors, dust stuck to the walls. The bathroom floors and carpet were all duty that your feet would stick to the floor. After my kids took a bath walking to the bed their feet got black. Showers were broken, mattress were all broken that there was no cover on it the springs were all showing. No hot water one morning, but it was corrected during the day. Restaurant was closed (looked permanent). Complimentary breakfast was so-so. Room key system required that my key be re-set each day of my stay (8 nights). WiFi in lobby only was inconvenient. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The floors of this hotel have a very weird chemical odor and so do the rooms, at least the ones I've stayed in. The mattresses are not comfortable and the pillows are like rocks. I had to go get toilet paper and just did without kleenex as it was never replaced in 4 days. It is cheap and functional so I stay there but it is not my favorite haunt. This was a decent place for the price. Other hotels in this area are much more. Overall it was a good value for the one night we stayed before we left on our cruise. Very close to the Port of Miami (about 2 miles). If you enjoy walking you can take beautiful stroll.

Ny room was nto what I expected, but the front desk clerk fixed that immediately ,he gave me an upgrade- a suite. I thought that was a wonderful gesture.

The Room Hall was extremely Dirty. the Bathroom Sink was Clogged the towel wont out. The roof Ac running like a diesel vehicle unable to sleep. No Microwave anywhere in the Hotel. no additional room to swap over the weekend no Maintenance available. Every guest was complaining about something else. No mattress pad and mattress had holes in it. Some evidence of bed bugs. Cannot control the A/C in the room. You get what you pay for in downtown Miami so if your expectations are low, this place is fine for a night.

If you don't want to spend a gajillion dollars on a hotel in downtown Miami, this place is for you. It's older, they never answer the phone at the front desk, but if you just need a place to stay and shower, this is your best bet. Parking is expensive if you have a rental, but there are parking lots around the place, too.

Safe in my room didn't work. They wouldn't fix it nor would they refund me the fee to use the safe. There wasn't an iron in the room. I had to have my room card re-keyed everyday for some odd reason. Staff barely spoke any English. I was worried about the room being gross, but it was actually alright for the price. Wouldnt stay there again though.

It is as good as possible for the cheap price.

You need to request a fridge at check in if you need one and they are first come first serve. Bottom line: you get what you pay for, but the rooms are clean and not too small. Bathrooms are updated which is nice. Valet is $25 day so factor that in. I was nice to the guy and he gave me valet for $22 day. The lobby looks good, that's pretty much it. The bedspread had a red "chunky" stain on it and the carpet was filthy.

This hotel would be great if they had parking. Instead you have to pay $27 a night for Valet. That is lame. Other wise it was a nice shabby chic place to lay your head close to down town Miami.

Fitness room is a joke. Its just a treadmill taht doesnt work and a elliptical and a bike which dont work either. Breakfast consists of bagels, ho hos, and cereal. NOthing special. Location is great but hotel isnt.

Very pleased with the room end especially the positive attitude of the staff.I would stay again without question.

I don't really understand all of the complaining that people are doing about this hotel. I stayed here with a group of my friends (we are college students on a budget) and cannot complain about the hotel. Sure, the hotel is old and in need of a renovation, but you cannot beat the price or location! The hotel was located in Downtown Miami so a cab anywhere was pretty pricey. However the neighborhood around the hotel was good to walk around and explore by the end of my stay i knew the area and alot of the locals. Only problem with the hotel was I booked 2 beds and got 1 upon arrival. And was told I needed to pay a fee for a 2nd bed which was insane […] considering I specifically booked 2. It was listed as a request instead. And I noticed alot of other people had the same issue. The hotel is quiet but the pool sucks its so small and my entire stay I saw no one attempt to go. But for the price it was over all a good hotel. The rooms and tvs were a bit outdated and small but who cares if you dont plan to spend much time in your room. The front desk staff dont seem to know much about events and locations but a computer is offered for guest to use and find there way around.
