We had a great get away weekend! The shopping was wonderful! Pheasent run was awesome! We are planning to go back in early October for another get away!

nice facility, friendly staff. i was there on mon and tues, and not much was happening at that time. the main restaurant is closed on monday

Like the others stated, the hotel is dated. We didnt mind that much because the location and amenities were good. The pools were nice and the comedy club were convenient, but the restaurants were expensive when there are so many restaurants within a mile. The area is under contruction which made things unsightly. Its very close to a mall and restaurants, […] but we preferred Geneva as a town over St Charles for quaint shopping and restaurants. This would be ideal for a golf weekend, wedding, or a gathering of a large group because there are so many amenities, but the hotel IS rather stale - although the staff keeps it very clean and pleasant. Nice sized rooms and good floor plans. Nice staff that always wanted to help if needed. The resort has the potential to get outdated quickly, but they seem to be keeping it current with decor.

was very disappointed . went for a romantic anniversary getaway. stayed in a whirlpool suite. all the jets didn't work in the tub. The tub was very small. There was no heat in the lower level of the room. The t.v. was not working correctly. There was dishes that sat outside of a room overnight and was still there when we checked out at 11. The hotel looks tired and needs an update. The rooms are still a bit dated. The location of the hotel is close to shopping and restaurants.

The pool is nice (it goes inside and outside, even in the winter (heated)). The whole complex is nice, little shops and convention rooms. I recommend if you want to check out st. charles or geneva

The staff was really outstanding, along with the food at the Harvest. I was a little disappointed with our room, the bathroom wasn't as clean as it should have been, the carpet was old and had stains, along with a small hole. In the morning the sun came through the windows, the draps were fixed drapes so they didnt close, hard to sleep. I really needed […] a hot tub, the pool we were in didn't have one, I thought the hotel did have a pool with a hot tub. I came to The Pheasant Run for much overdue relaxation, and really needed a hot tub. I spoke to one of the staff members, I forgot her name, she was so nice. I discussed with her the bathroom situation, but stressed that I didn't want to get anyone in trouble. She gave us a gift card to us over our stay, and appologized for the inconvience. The hotel is geared towards families. It is very nosey at night no matter where you are in the resort. The room was clean and well kept, but many of the common areas were in constant disarray. The service was considerably lacking, most employees seemed like they hated their jobs. Overall just unpleasent and unpleased with the stay. This is obviously a hotel that is aged, and out of it's prime. As soon as I walked into the rooms hallway, there was a constant musty smell. My room was the same - don't think it had had a guest in a long time. I wasn't sure if I could sleep, but I did.

I stayed here during the Ryder Cup, and have also stayed here on business in the past. I have never had any problems at all. Staff has been good to work with, and they have been putting some money into the place to make improvements in recent years. My room was very clean and comfortable. Unless they mean "last resort", the Peasant Run Resort falls well short of the the title. The decor at Pheasant Run is retro -- but not in a cool way; it's a hodgepodge of leftovers the 70's, with all the signs of 40 years of ware. I stayed at the PR for a wedding, and when I arrived early to get showered and dressed for the ceremony to find my room not yet ready, I was upgraded to a much nicer room that was already prepared for occupation. Service was great from the time we checked in to the time we left. Kids had a great time in the pool and watching movies outdoors by the firepit. We loved our experience! Definitely would do it again!

In much need of an update. We had a handicapped room which we did not request. Nowhere to hang our towels (family of four. Terrible ozone smell in our room and had to turn the A/C all the way down to 62 to feel cool. Engineer never came as we requested. Sulfur smell in the water. Overall this was a terrific get away for my wife and I. They upgraded our room for free (maybe because we booked through Hotels.com?) Our only dissapointmenI was the hot tub out of service, but the pool is terrific and we had a great time. The road construction will eventually end.

Hotel is getting long in the tooth and in need of serious remodeling. While our room was listed as non-smoking, it reeked of cigarette smoke. It is a one or two star hotel at the very best. We stayed there only because of the location and will not do so again.

This was our second stay at Pheasant Run. It's close to the city yet far enough to feel like you are on vacation. Its an older property but kept in ok condition. We went to relax, hang at the pool and watch a comedy show at Zanie's. Pool is nice, room was nice and clean with a sliding door facing the water. Zanie's was fun. The problem was some of the […] other guests, more specifically, the drunk and inconsiderate other guests. Unfortunately, one of the rooms next to us had a party starting at 1am...until 3am when the cops came to shut it down. I spoke to 3 other hotel guests who overheard me at the front desk the next day, all three couples were woken up and kept awake by either loud parties or people making noise outside at the fire pit (3am people, really?#. Although the hotel can only partially control the guests, they need to be better at it. Shut down the fire pit at a reasonable time and upon check-in make guests sign a "no party' clause and make them pay a hefty fine if they break it #they should have paid for my room!#. Other notes; when we called the desk#twice#about the noise next door, the employee could be a bit more courteous. I am sure these issues are part of being a resort but they have to put safeguards in place to ensure ALL guests can have a good time. The front desk person I spoke to in the morning did not seem to be aware of the issues that happened overnight. Perhaps doing a proper handover is a good idea to be ready for the cranky sleep deprived guests. Läs mer

This hotel has the feel of a resort with families enjoying time together in public areas. There were lots of things for us to explore the night we stayed there--pools, street of shops, restaurants and bars, etc. The room was very disappointing for the price we paid. Came here for business/leisure. It was a very nice stay. They have 4 pools on site. We used the one that was indoor/outdoor a lot. It is 11ft deep with a nice island in the middle of it where kids can jump off. The onsite Jumbalaya restaurant was great too! We stayed in the tower and it was a lot nicer than the courtyard rooms.

Very comfortable room, had loads of room. Even though there were many young people present, it didn't cause us to have any problems sleeping. We ate at the Bourbon Street restaurant and had an excellent meal for dinner. Then we stayed and watched the entertainment and the band was great.
