"Overnight stay."
Don't pay the extra bucks to stay in that hotel. Could hear everything in the adjacent rooms. Breakfast with 2 kids and 3 adults was stressful due to the tiny size of the breakfast room (and its weird location right in the lobby...). Poor food. Not really clean overall. It’s spring break… The hotel is oversold and I’m booking and arriving late… There were problems with my reservation that were handled with no hassle by Keno at the front desk and the Hotels.com team in a very professional manner. Most interaction was with front desk and they were so very helpful constantly - and kept us supplied with bottled water for free, which was a pleasant perk, as the water from out tap was cloudly. Wish I had a different room. I was on the first floor right next to the front desk, elavator, ice machine and breakfast area. I asked the front desk if I would hear anything bc im a light sleeper. "fine place to sleep"
The room was comfortable enough, but the house keeping was short staffed and were not able to get in and freshen our room on the second night. The breakfast was OK, the first two days we were there they did not keep things stocked and when asked were not overly friendly about it. Not much seating. "Very pleased"

"Somewhat disappointed given the price"
I expected a bit more for the price we paid. When we got to the room, I quickly noticed a brown stain on the wall to the side of the sink that should've been wiped. The hot breakfast, which was served on styrofoam plates with plastic cutlery, resembled the kind one would get in a supermarket frozen food section. When their odd pancake machine worked, […] it churned out limp flapjacks. And once when I lifted a shoe, something small, black and FAST scurried away into a corner under the sink (there must've been a tiny hole since I couldn't find it again). The A/C was temperamental. I had to jiggle the wall thermostat to get it to work properly. Overall, the staff was pretty nice, but not particularly knowledgeable. The staff person running the breakfast service did not know whether the muffins had nuts in them or not (my kid is allergic). And another at the front desk told me the laundry room was on the 3rd floor when it was actually on the 2nd. Nothing catastrophic, but I do think that I'll try another hotel next time. "Make sure you get the room you actually booked."
I think this is Hotels.com's fault, but I ended up having to share a bed with my mom. I booked a 2-Queen room, but ended up with a 1-King room. When I asked for the right room, there was not available. This is the second time this has happened (at 2 different hotels) Still, overall, the place was fine. The only complaint I have is the actual curtains to keep light out do not move. Hard to sleep with street lights shining in your face. They need the heavy type of curtains to be able to shut. They only go part way and that is it.Verifierad gästrecension

The service is great. Very friendly and helpfulv staff -warm choc chip cookies at night, although they all do this. The breakfast was fine, nothing special. The bed's are not the greatest, but I am more picky. My six year old daughter and I woke up with low back aches. My husband slept through, but didn't thought the bed did need updating. I never understand […] why Hotels have old worn out beds. The whole point of staying in a hotel is to have a place to sleep right? Also our bedside lamp was completely non-functional, as in, the switches on each side were missing. We had it switched out but not fun when you're already bedded down and the guy comes in unplugging the lamp and in and out with the new lamp. How could nobody have noticed this? Also I think something was wrong with the HVAC, as it was sweltering hot in November and I ran the cooler all night which didn't make much of a difference. I should have just demanded a refund really, but didn't think it was possible. I may try. So we checked out in the morning and went right next door to the Hampden Inn and had a brand new updated room with newer beds, still had the warm cookies, better breakfast with make- your- own belgian waffles, an indoor pool and hot tub. Also the room had a sofa and larger desk and more space for lugage, great pillows too. The first queen bed was more used and softer than the one farthest from the door, so if you're just using one bed, I learned to go for the farther one that's hasn't seen as much wear. Just an overall better experience at Hampden Inn. "George Ray Review of 11/18 Glenwood Springs Holida"
We stay here once a year because it is on the way to our Thanksgiving destination. Normally, I call 1-800-holiday, but I got what I thought was a local number from the website. It turned out to be hotels.com when I got to Glenwood Springs. It was impossible to understand that I was not speaking directly to a representative of Holiday Inn due to her […] enunciation, so I was not impressed that the website handed me off to a third party agent. As to the stay in Glenwood Springs, it was no better and no worse than any other year. My husband has been a loyal priority club member for 30+ years, and I sometimes wonder why. The beds are no more comfortable than the Motel 6 down the street - I just get a better neighborhood and a non-smoking room that has never been a smoking room with a fresh coat of paint. As usual, we woke up tired and sore as opposed to refreshed after a night laying on a discount bargain store mattress. I've been to Glenwood many times since I was a kid. Most of the hotels are pretty old and run down. This is probably my favorite of all the hotels that I've stayed at. Clean, nice staff, great breakfast, close to everything. Would stay again.Verifierad gästrecension

Overall, the hotel was fine. It fit our needs and was comfortable and clean. Our only complaint was that the pool was very, very warm. We live in Phoenix, and the pool at the hotel was warmer than ours in the 100+ degree weather. Other guest were commenting that they thought perhaps the pool heater was on. "Holiday Inn Express needs better security"
When we checked in to the Holiday Inn Express, everything went smoothly until we put our key card in the door and opened it. We scared a family with two children who were already in the room. We excused ourselves and went back down to the lobby. The clerk apologized and gave us a room across the hall. When we headed back up the father of the family […] we walked in on was on his way to the lobby. When we later entered the side entrance, we could open the door without using our room key card. We read in the room information packet that the breakfast would start at 6:00am. Had a great experience. Chose the hotel based on reviews and was not dissappointed. The value was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable and the gentleman at the desk was very courteous and helpful. Pool and hot tub were well maintained. Walking distance to very good resturaunts and downtown as well as the hot springs. Breakfast was also excellent.
