Tyckte det var riktigt bra. Fint område med goda förbindelser. Tio minuter promenad och tio minuter tunnelbana så är man på 42:à gatan

Mycket nöjd. Snygg inredning och rent. Inga vägglöss :-) Väldigt bra och trevligt läge nära tunnelbanestationer och någon minuts promenad till central park. Mycket sköna sängar och kuddar. Personalen var mycket glad och hjälpsam och gav oss gärna tips och information om stan vid fråga. Vi förstod oss först inte på varmvattnet, men det visade sig att det måste saknas cirkulation i ledningarna så vi fick spola ett tag - sedan kom värmen.

Jag bodde i ett nyrenoverat rum och kan inte uttala mig om de icke-renoverade rummen. Mitt rum var superfräscht, fint badrum, bra städning. Städningen också med lite personlig omtanke. Hade även fin utsikt. Är alltså mycket nöjd. Vi är kanske lite mer miljömedvetna i Sverige och byter inte handdukar varje dag om inte gästerna visar att de önskar det. Lite […] långsam hiss kanske. Ett väldigt prisvärt hotell! Bra läge, lugnt och nära till både affärer och tunnelbana. Rummen var fräscha och i bra skick, personalen trevliga och hjälpsamma. Helt enkelt, mycket prisvärt hotell!

Trevligt och livfullt mellanklasshotell på Upper West Side. Ständigt fullt med unga i lobbyn som utnyttjar den fria WiFi:n. T-banestation (96th Street) runt hörnet på Broadway. Utmärkt Corner Café snett över gatan. Promenadavstånd till Central Park. Av någon outgrundlig anledning var fönstren mot gården helt oputsade, min fru tog sig omedelbart an dem […] med toapapper. Hotellet ligger i trevlig del NY, som man troligen inte skulle besöka om man inte bodde där. Mycket prisvärt hoell.
Helt ok hotell för ett bra pris. Men för långt till city.

För att hålla med en tidigare gäst som har skrivit en kommentar om detta hotell så var rummen faktiskt ännu bättre än de såg ut på bilderna, mycket rena och fina rum och nära till mesta, tex Central Park bara ett stenkast iväg.Trevlig personal. Rekommenderas!

PRISVÄRT hotell, mycket bättre än på bilderna. Stora rymliga rum, städning varje dag trots det låga priset => nöjda kunder. Man kunde dessutom beställa mat från ett flertal restauranger till rummet vilket var utmärkt substitut för roomservice. Läget lite avsides, ca 10-15 minuters taxiresa till stan vilket kan bli dyrt i längden men det var allt vi […] hade att klaga på. I receptionen var inte alla överdrivet serviceminded men de kunde iaf svara på enkla frågor och så var det ju öppet 24/7 vilket är huvudsaken! En liten parentes: Om ni ber dem beställa en taxi åt er från hotellet till JFK airport så tar chauffören 20 dollar mer än en vanlig taxi vilket de inte informerade om, kan vara bra att veta om man som i vårt fall har ont om pengar på slutet av resan, Läs mer

Fair enough. The room was clean the staff friendly. Maybe a bit far up north for our purposes but a subway station just around the corner solved most of our problems. Special price on breakfast at a near by breakfast place.

Eftersom jag inte skulle tillbringa dagarna på hotellrum valde jag ett billigare alternativ. När jag öppnade dörren till rum 802 blev jag positivt överraskad. Stor och underbart skön säng. Kylskåp, TV, kaffebryggare med kaffe, effektiv air condition och ett helt OK badrum. En kommentar ang kylskåpet så har någon smart elektriker placerat på/av knappen […] till kylskåpet precis bredvid knappen för att sätta på taklampan vid ytterdörren. Dock har någon skrivit "Kylskåp" med bläckpenna på tapeten vid denna knapp. Hotellet har helt klart sett sina bättre dagar och är inte alls handikappvänligt eftersom hallen (läs hallarna) utanför påminner mer om en labyrint och kan inte vara mer än högst 1m i bredd på sina ställen. Hissen som alla talar om kan jag kort bekräfta att den är extrem långsam och ibland känns det som den ska lägga av. WI-FI finns gratis nere i lobbyn. Även om jag hittade fler accesspunkter på andra våningar uppgav personalen att den bara fungerar nere i lobbyn. Jag upplevde inga som helst problem med gatuljud. Då var AC en större ljudkälla till irritation. Ytterdörren var tunn och lite halvtrasig vid låset så när grannen gick in/ut var det som grannen öppnade min dörr. Sängen var helt underbar (kingsize). Sov oerhört bra i den. TV kanalerna är inte av svensk kvalité men helt OK. Extra bra var de två New York kanaler som fanns. Stannade 1 vecka i NYC och köpte ett veckokort till tunnelbanan & buss. Det var en helt suverän investering, och tog mej snabbt och effektivt fram i staden. Hotellet ligger ca 100m från närmaste t-banenedgång. Och fler längre ifrån. Kände mej aldrig otrygg i tunnelbanan, inte ens på natten, då det alltid finns folk i vagnarna. Åker du från Midtown och hamnar på expresståget till 96:e gatan som är nära hotellet tog det nog ca 7min. Annars 15min. Hotellpersonalen var väl precis som New Yorkers i övrigt. "Bra budget hotell i New York"
Detta är ett bra budget alternativ i NY! Det var rent och snyggt (fräscht badrum). Det enda negativa vi upplevde var ljudet från gatan, hörs en del men för den ickekänsliga personen är det inga problem.
Pretty ordinary, nothing great or terrible about the hotel. The elevator was very slow. Wireless was only available in the lobby. Very convenient location to the 96th Street subway stop and a Duane Reade is right around the corner.

The location of the Days Hotel Broadway was great for getting to Columbia in one direction and downtown in the other. The room was clean, but somewhat dilapidated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Except for one maintenance person, the staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The doorman, Ronald, was so personable and helpful, a true asset to the team. The room was cleaned daily, which I was not expecting. The only issues with the facility were the TV, (expected more with "basic cable"), WI-FI not in room, and the elevators […] were small and slow to arrive. Great hotel for weekend stay with children. Close to subway station. Good neighborhood (residential). Rooms are not a bad size for New York City. Full bathroom. We did not spend much time at the hotel, but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom is good. Carpeting and walls could use updating.

"OKAY Hotel in a quiet area nearby subway"
Before checked in in Days hotel I was 3 nights in a Hotel in 7Av nearby Times Square. So I did enjoyed my stay in Days hotel because the service was good, there was wifi in the lobby and rooms were very clean. Only the bed is too soft for my taste. The location is not the best in NY, but closer to the subway lines 1,2 & 3. There are many options of […] restaurants in the area and you can check it out how New yorkers family live. Most of locals around have dogs and babies! Just pay attention to the airport Shuttle service sold by the hotel. They need to collect other guests in other hotels. "Pleasant stay"
I needed the hotel for a business weekend. It served my needs perfectly EXCEPT for the fact that the WiFi in the hotel did not work. I have to go across the street to a corner cafe to use my internet. A bit inconvenient. They should look into that. But aside from that one thing the hotel was fine!

The pictures on the website make it look nice and decent but this was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. NYC is very expensive so I can't hold that against this hotel. The room was located in the stairwell so to access the room you had to go to the emergency stairs and your room was right there...? Very strange! I was supposed to have a king size […] bed and it was a queen or a double definitely not a king! The bathroom was like a narrow hallway barely any room to move around. The floors looked very dirty I didn't even want to put my dirty laundry on the floor. The elevator was very old and when you pushed the button to go down you went up. This is a great location for visiting NYC-- specifically, very close to Columbia without the high price tag of many hotels near the campus. Also, this is very close (1 block) to a stop on the red line of the subway-- so, extremely easy access to all other areas of the city. I would stay here again absolutely ! I'm from DC so im use to a more luxurious stay. But needless to say that I was satisfied with this hotel. They were clean, the front desk was nice and even though the room was kind of small, the overall hotel was NY style. Condition of hotel in general is terrible. My remote to the TV did not work......the phone did not work....it had dials to reach housejkeeping and the front desk but they did not work. Not until I went to the front desk to ask did I learn that the only way to use the phone is to dial zero......that is ridiculous.......

My wife and I have stayed here a number of times. We love the location and access to the subway(only 2 stops to Times Sq,3 to Penn Sta using the express). Gave us an early check-in upon arrival. Very accommodating.
we got no rest the last night due to security banging on the door at 9am. and guest service calling and waking us up. checkout at 11 they could have waited.

I loved the fact that his hotel it right by the train, many different places to eat. If you want a fridge you can get one. And the deal was great. I live in manhattan but wanted a lil get away and I think I was pleased. The only two thing was it said cable on the site but it was only public access and channels 2,4,5,7,9 & 11 and the food network I was […] shocked. Than the bed is pleanty worked. A great two star Hotel. We have stayed at this Hotel many times. This site gave us the best rate we have ever had. We like the neighborhood. It is close to the subway. Nice places to eat close by. The staff at the hotel is exceptional.

Staff was great. Professional and courteous. Nice room. Clean, comfortable. Location right near subway, buses and other transportation (taxis).

Yeah the room and bathroom were small but everything was really clean, the front desk help and bellmen were super nice, and best of all the location was perfect! The subway was around the corner, central park and museum of natural history were in walking distance and there were plenty of bars and fun places to eat around the hotel.
The manager says they're addressing the issues I had here, but until they do- BUYER BEWARE! They advertise cable TV- not so. They get the local stations ONLY. They also advertise wireless internet throughout the hotel- NOT TRUE. They have wifi throughout, and you CAN connect to the wifi network, but it isn't connected to the internet. The only place […] you can actually connect to the internet is in the lobby. The rooms are in need of updating due to old (and stained) carpeting, having to wait 10-15 minutes for hot water (I was on an upper floor), a radiator that wouldn't shut off, and even when turned off by maintenance a room temp that was always in the 80's. The area was great- lots to do and see, great restaurants, subway steps from the front door, and a safe enough feel to not worry about walking around any time of day or night. We stayed 10 nights and it was every day very clean. The subway is on the next corner, and although it´s on the Broadway on Upper West Side, it´s very quiet. We were very happy, we get a nice price and for New York it was very cheap. Unfortunately there is no internet, only wifi, but for internet you have to go to starbucks (in the "business center" […] (a little room with 3 computer) were internet, but 2 Dollar for a half hour was to expensive and the front desk can´t change money).
