Bästa frukosten hittills i Usa, äggröra skinka med salsa. Det fanns gröt bröd yoghurt frukt osv. Jätte fina rum med ute plats, skön säng och många tv kanaler även soffa och skrivbord. Vi vart glatt överraskade när vi kom över hur trevligt hela stället var. Vi fick även kvällsmat (mån-tors). Ca 10 min biltur med mycket trafik till America airline center. Enda negativa var att det var lite svårt att hitta restaurang på gång avstånd. Men det rekommenderas att bo här!

Bra hotell med fokus på arbete, stora rum rent och snyggt utan att vara lyxigt. Lämpligt för arbete i norra Dallas. Ok gym med fria vikter och maskiner, dock ganska litet men nytt. Frukost enkel men helt ok, ingår i priset. Trevlig personal och en liten shop att handla vatten och annat fixi i receptionen. Bra värde för pengarna om man jobbar.

"Terrible!!"
Valet was a mess. Left my car with the windows down with keys in the ignition. The beds are hard as rocks, and the construction in the streets made for a long, loud night. I would NOT recommend this hotel ever.Verifierad gästrecension

"Magnolia was great! Easy walk to convention center"
The Magnolia hotel is located right in the heart of downtown...easy access to the Dallas Convention Center where we had a volleyball tournament. Very cool location, watched a car commercial being filmed right outside...good restaurants closeby. Very safe area. "Right place at the wrong time....."
Great location, overall cleanliness was great, staff was attentive. Breakfast: average at best, but Very convient. Eggs were runny. Bacon was crispy, sausage a touch greasy. French toasts/waffle tasted like they were frozen than brought back to life via microwave oven. Coffee weak. I'm unable to comment on the quality because we did not schedule our stay around them. Nice benefits we were unable to actually utilize. Location wise the hotel was in walking distance to the JFK memorial & the book depository. Food trucks at Clyde Warren Park & The West End. I would have given an all around 4 star for this review, if my significant other and I were not kept awake until 3 in the morning by the next door occupants. We could hear their laughing and screaming at the top of their lungs, as though they were actually in our room. I think a huge group of female teenagers, on their out of town sports tournament trip, booked the weekend. Lets just say they had the run of the place. It would have been considerate and good customer service if the hotel had given us a room away from the rowdy teens. Minus the rowdy teens, I might consider a repeat stay. "Poor customer service"
Very disappointed in the service beginning with pulling up to the hotel. The valet personnel said that I could not park on the street to check in so I pulled up to the valet service where he suggested I park while I checked in. I did not want to pay the high price of the valet service. I was asked to give my keys to the valet even though I was only […] checking in and planned to move my car to a parking garage. I requested that the attendant give me some proof that he was holding my key. After checking in,I asked the desk clerk where I could park my car and was told that since I had requested that I receive free parking if possible whenI made my reservation, that parking would be free. Believing that: I allowed valet to park my vehicle. I was billed for the overnight parking and was told that parking is never free even though a representative of The Magnolia had stated that. The manager informed the desk clerk that the cost would remain on my bill. I was not satisfied with that answer. I would not have used valet otherwise. I moved into a nearby parking lot and the rate was much less. It was the same lot that the valet used. Even after moving my car to the other lot, I was charged the overnight parking fee for another night. You must constantly be on your guard. "Convenient Location, small room and slow service"
We stayed at the Magnolia for 4 nights. The room was very small - only enough room to walk around the bed. The bathrooms are very large by comparison, almost half the size of the bedroom. The hotel offered nice extras including a buffet breakfast, a happy hour with up to 2 glasses complementary of their house wine and milk and cookies at night. Our […] room was clean, but showed some wear and tear. It is conveniently located in downtown Dallas - only a 10 minute walk to the Convention Center. We felt safe walking in the area and were able to get everywhere we needed to go without a car. The food offered in the hotel was tasty and a good value. The only downside to our stay was that service was exceptionally slow. While most of the staff was friendly, we had to wait a minimum of 40 minutes for any order in the hotel lounge (45 minutes for room service at night). Although the hotel offered up to 2 glasses of wine during their happy hour, I don't think it is possible to get 2 glasses of wine in the timeframe allowed because service was so slow. One night we tried to call room service and never received an answer to the phone call so we went down to the lounge to order our dinner. Even though there were only 4 tables with patrons, we waited about 40 minutes for bar food. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to stay in downtown Dallas, just be sure you bring your patience as well as your luggage. "Lovely, but noisy..."
Loved the hotel and staff! Everyone was just lovely! The valet staff, front desk staff, and the food/beverage servers were very attentive. The happy hour, though limited, was nice. The breakfast buffet is far from continental and varied on the two days we were there. For the most part, our room was good. It was very noisy! Our toilet kept running until […] we jiggled the handle, the a/c fan was very noisy, and if someone was walking down the hall, you could hear their conversation as if they were in the room. "Gracious Old Lady"
We have just had 4 nights here at Magnolia Downtown and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and obliging in every area we came into contact. The Hotel Car service also great. Our room 2113 was on a higher floor near a corner so some views. The complimentary brekky buffet, the cookie buffet at 8pm and the happy hour […] reception were all wonderful. We loved hanging out on the 2nd floor - especially the lounge with the fireplace - just spectacular. It is a fairly quiet place to stay - and there is very little shopping per se - but Neiman Marcus is next door if you want sticker shock - even at 75% off. "Easy to find when you get lost!"
My husband went down there for a spur of the moment vacation a week before Christmas. Drove down there Monday and left Wednesday. We had to go to Cowboys stadium and Medieval Times. Those were our must do's. Everything else was a bonus. We arrived at the hotel and was pleased from the moment we stepped out to the valet parking (which we weren't expecting). […] Hotel was wonderful. It was old and so full of character (which we love). Very well maintained for its age and history. Beautiful. Also has a small gym that we took advantage of and the breakfast buffet was large and filling. The front desk employees were very knowledgable and eager to help. Especially Daniel and Jenifer. We talked with them the most, even though everyone was very friendly. Daniel recommended the Chophouse for lunch for us. That was wonderful. They didn't talk us out of Joe's Crab Shack (we don't have one near where we live). In a heartbeat we will stay there again if we go to Dallas. "Great Hotel for Holiday Bowl - Go Pokes!"
My husband and I were visiting Downtown Dallas to attend The Holiday Bowl - OSU vs. Purdue....Go Pokes! We stayed in a great room on the 24th Floor...the view was amazing! The hotel was lovely, more quiet than I had imagined for a New Year's Eve! We went to the Dallas Aquarium which was a nice surprise...everything from monkeys to sharks! We ate supper […] at Campisi's, an Italian restaurant not too far from the hotel....loved the bruchetta! We visited several bars in the area as well as the bar in the Magnolia....hey, it was New Year's Eve! We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet the Magnolia had to offer...it was delicious.
